It was a wonderful location would book again.

It was in the city in a side street no view, but it was convenient location to get out and about.

Great unit with just a couple of hickups

The unit was fantastic , clean and everything we needed for 4 nights .

Instructions on how to use everything . we had to google all appliances . Dishwasher draw took 4 hours to was a tiny load .

Muy agradable y satisfactoria.

Todo el mobiliario, excepto el colchón, eran nuevos, y con todo lujo de detalles, además de muy limpio y bien conservado. La calefacción muy confortable. La ubicación perfecta y muy bien comunicada.

Deberían renovar el colchón, está algo desgastado notándose algún muelle.

Wonderful small flat in a central yet quiet location.

It is an extremely central location, BUT it was also very quiet. The decor was lovely and the flat was extremely comfortable.

The tub/shower is quite high. I would not recommend it for elderly people or someone who can stumble easily.

Great location, well appointed and comfortable.

Fantastic location. Close to public transport (to and from airport by bus or tram is simple). Easy walk to Royal Mile, tons of great restaurants and pubs all over. Super for two couples, plenty of room. Bedrooms were on opposite sides of the apartment so there was privacy for each couple. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean.

The entrance to the apartment seemed a bit sketchy at first. But as soon as we went inside all worries were quelled.

Great location, clean and comfortable stay in Edinburgh!

The location was absolutely perfect for our family. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The showers were wonderful and having 2 bathrooms was perfect for our family of 4. We were a short walk from great pubs and restaurants, and a short walk from public transportation to take us anywhere! Our flight was cancelled and we needed to book an additional day. Destiny Scotland helped us get an additional day in the same apartment so we did not need to move our belongings. It just added a great day to our visit to the beautiful city of Edinburgh! Every morning on our way out to sightsee for the day, we would see the lady cleaning the apartments and she always greeted us so warmly and made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay at the Thistle Street apartments when visiting Edinburgh! Excellent accommodations!

Lovell space close to everything in Edinburgh (city side) - perfect for Hogmany as close to key events but out of the ch

Great location and apartment

Great appartement. At first I was worried as the street looked dark and a bit dodgey. However these kind of lanes are typical of Edinburgh and it was absolutely fine. I would stay here again if staying in Edinburg. Just around the corner from the office which was so handy on our last day for storing our bags. The only thing I would change is the mattress which is of very poor quality and not that comfortable. Considering the price paid I was surprised it wasn’t a good mattress. Also all of the radiators were turned off- which made the nest heating system essentially a decoration. We had to manually turn on each radiator and then it worked no problem. I would recommend apartment number 6 on 23 thistle street and would stay here again.

Great location a bit spoiled by exterior road works.

Location was great and facilities ver ygood

The road approach was dug up and made access a bit of a problem, especially by car as I had to go the wrong way up a one way street for access. This was not the fault of the apartment but was a problem. There was a mix up re rooms which led to a late night relocation ,but this was handled smoothly.

Great stay in a fantastic apartment with high end furniture and appliances.

This apartment was in a great central location but still quiet. It was clean and modern, with high end appliances and everything you could need. It was nice and bright, and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

The doors slam loudly behind you (fire doors) so we had to be really mindful of that and close them slowly. There is no one on site (not an issue for us but might be for others). There is no view to speak of from apartment 5. Again, no problem for us. I wasn’t a fan of having to download an app for info about the apartment. I would have preferred a booklet in the unit but I am old school. 😀

Great Apartment in a Great Location of Edinburgh!

I was given the address 23 Thistle. The office was at 28 Thistle. Doesn’t seem like a huge difference but it’s a small, cobblestone-heavy street, so a little tough to navigate. But I called and they redirected me clearly. This apartment is in a great location - walkable to much of “New Town” Edinburgh. And they had plenty of space in their office to store our luggage prior to checkin.

Code for the doors made life easy. Room was spacious and kitchen was decently equipped.

We had a heating issue on the first day. We called before the office closed and were told everything looked fine and we just needed to wait. Froze all night temperature never got higher than 17 degrees. Called again in the morning and someone came around immediately and said the heating had been switched off by previous occupants. The on line guide said the office was able to see the heating and would know if there was a problem, this clearly wasn't the case. As we came from summer in Australia to winter in edinburgh this made our first jet lagged night extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant. Once fixed everything was good - it should have been addressed when we fist called though - perhaps an issue with the office not being in the building?
