The house is positioned closer to the dunes and ocean than the neighboring houses for unobstructed views up and down the island. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely duplex very much. Very clean, decorated beachy, and right on the oceanfront. The amenities were great and conveniently located near areas like Calabash where we enjoyed shopping and dining. This was our second time at this beautiful home away from home. No regrets!!

This property was just as described. This was our first oceanfront rental but it will not be our last! Our only concern was that you could not access under the house from the beach side to store our beach accessories. Fortunately, we felt comfortable leaving everything at the bottom of the stairs leading to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our family of 9. We found Holden to be much quieter than the Myrtle Beach area. It’s a little crazy with everyone trying to come in at the same time on Saturday but after that it did not seem crowded at all.

This location is perfect! Right on the beach with full windows so we could watch the kids playing in the sand while cooking supper. Kitchen was well stocked and very organized. First rental we've been asked to bring things like hand soap or toilet paper but honestly this house makes up for that. Book it! You will love this house.

Location and lay out was great. Had 4 dead roaches to clean up which is the only reason I rated cleanliness not excellent. (at least they were dead).

This was such a great place to stay. We loved the decor, the cleanliness, and the location was perfect. Our 10 and 5 year old had so much fun. It was close enough for us to bike to get coffee and treats and the hosts were available right away to answer our questions. Fun family memory!

We enjoyed a long weekend at the end of the summer with our family of 5 and our best friends from college with their two young children. The property was a great fit for our needs with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, and right on the beach, making it so easy to enjoy lots of time playing in the water and sand. We wouldn’t change a thing about this property and are so grateful to have been able to stay here for a wonderful time.

Nice beachfront property with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I will say I was glad there were only six of us because the living area and porch are both a bit small. It was just the right size for our group, though. Would stay there again.

Good stay, vrbo didn’t update with check-in information so we got off to a bumpy start. Co-owner Andy never responded to any of my communication. Co-owner Jason was contacted day of check in to assist us. Should ensure vrbo updates check in info as many travelers rely on the app. Other than that, we would definitely return to this property.

This house was great for having kids at; close to the beach for back and forth nap times/snacks/potty breaks, comfortable accommodations, up to date and well decorated. You will just need to bring your own baby gates!

View was amazing. Walk to the beach was almost non-existent, and the beach itself was as amazing as pictured. Kitchen was easily most stocked in terms of quality pans, dishes, etc I’ve ever stayed in from VRBO. Owners who respond quickly and helpfully to any questions you may have. Only thing to note - walls are thin. So if you end up with inconsiderate neighbors on the other side of house up and yelling at 7 AM may want some ear plugs. Even still, gave us an excuse to be up and on the beach early. Great stay!

The house was very comfortable and right on the beach! Would have liked for it to be cleaner. Perhaps the cleaning service needs an audit? There was trash left in several of the king bedroom drawers & on the floor, the blinds in the king bedroom had small "animal hair"? all over them, and the bathroom had not been cleaned - the tub had grime in it and around the top and the shower curtain was not clean. After a thorough cleaning myself, we could then go have fun! If I am paying for cleaning, I want to walk into a CLEAN place. Especially during this time of Covid-19.

You can’t beat the location and waking up everyday to the ocean at your steps. The kitchen is well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Highly recommend!
