About this condo rental
Complimentary sunrises included with all rentals! This complex is well situated at the far end of Windy Hill Beach with the nicest open views along the beach. A short walk over the dunes and your feet are in the sand! Being on the very edge of Windy Hill Beach gets a little less crowded than the high rise areas. Only 5 minutes to BareFoot Landing or any of the best local NMB attractions. Cafes, restuarants, shops, golf and live entertainment in every direction, when you are ready to venture off the beach. This condo has been tastefully remodeled for 2022 with new vinyl plank flooring throughout (NO carpet), new kitchen cabinets, new stone countertops/tile backsplash, new appliances, all of the useful kitchen essentials; even a stacked washer/dryer inside the unit. Enjoy the new 55 inch smart TV in the family room for spring 2023. Cable and FREE WiFi is included. The ocean front balcony offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and overlooks the outdoor swimming pool. Enjoy a great meal at sunset or coffee in the mornings! The condo offers coastal cool vibes. There is a QUEEN bed in the super spacious master. Plenty of room with two FULL beds in the guest room, to sleep 4 more. There are two nicely updated bathrooms. Windy Shores is a raised 4-story building with limited perimeter parking underneath, but a large parking lot for overflow vehicles is just a block away from the complex. The condo was very nice and plenty of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the table on the balcony and awesome views. The parking was a nightmare, the street side got very loud at night, they were very stingy on towels and wash clothes and toilet paper. We had to go buy our own. The check in/out process is very old school and needs to be updated. Every VRBO I have ever rented you get a code to a lockbox before arrival well this rental still requires you to check in and out at the office and they want an actual check to hold for incidentals instead of using card on file. That is the only complaints though, the condo itself is very nice and you can tell its been renovated.

The unit was updated and very clean. It was the perfect size for 3 adults and 2 kids. We typically stay at a high rise condo, but wanted to try a 1st floor unit this time. We LOVED the fact it would take less than a minute to walk to the beach from condo. Location was also easy access to all kinds of shopping both food and entertainment. Cons- Beds not very comfy. Kitchen has bare minimum items and fridge small and not easy to go in and out of. Balcony had very little breeze and hot which I believe is coming from all the AC units that are housed in the parking garage level. Recliner would be nice in living room as there is only seating for 5 ppl in a 6 person condo.

5 Stars for: Location, accommodations, parking. * Need more cameras to see parking lot better. Visitor's car was hit. Couldn't see on cameras due to blind spots/lack of camera coverage

So clean compared to other places we’ve stayed at, could tell they actually cleaned the floors because the kids didn’t have black feet after walking on the floor. Only downside the bedrooms got hot at night with the doors shut, but would definitely stay again. Also beach access was great and not crowded. The after hours personnel super quick to respond as well when contacted.

Very clean condo that had everything we needed to start with. Beautifully decorated. Also provided a closet on the main floor which had nice beach chairs, umbrellas, and rafts, etc. Great for travelers like us who flew in. The only negative was the height of the balcony railing, very high!

Unit was in excellent condition. Very roomy, if staying more than a week, bring necessities, kitchen not fully stocked. access to beach and surrounding attractions was very easy. Can see area being very crowded in peak summer season. limited parking at bldg. if at peak time use only one car. off lot parking holds 10 cars is two houses away. not far at all.

We really liked the location of the property, our first time in North Myrtle and we enjoyed it The only negative would be the parking, there was supposed to be space for 1 car on site but it was always full. Beach access was perfect. Property was clean. Easy to check in and check out, loved the binder, made it easy to find what we needed.

The condo itself was very cute, spacious and clean. The parking was very hard to get into. The carpet upstairs near our condo (outside) needed to be cleaned and vacumed. We had a very nice trip and would recomend. Drive a small car to fit into parking spaces.

The condo was as pictured on website it was clean. The only problem I had was the parking. Spaces were small and not enough for everyone. There is nothing you can do but the guest in the unit above us were very rude with their kids running and jumping until 1 in the morning

The best part of our stay was the location, as it sits right on the beach with beach access about 30 seconds from your front door. The views from Windy Shores II is just beautiful. This unit is right above the pool but we visited in late winter and did not utilize this amenity. Still, the pool and surrounding area were well maintained with lots of seating for sunbathing and relaxation. There is a storage closet for each unit with beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this for someone who is looking to stay on a more quiet section of the beach, but still a minute away from all that you might need on the main strip. Don’t hesitate to make this your vacation destination.

The unit was not clean. Glass door and mirror in master had not been cleaned, the fans had a half inch of dust on them. The unit had been updated but the cleaning service did not do their job. The outside of the building was showing its age and needs to be updated. The common area around the front door and the stairs was very dirty.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is clean and updated and has a great view of the ocean. I also like that it's on the first floor because we could just use the steps and not mess with the elevator. We are very interested in renting again next year.

The property was clean, albeit somewhat smaller and with lower grade finishes than the pictures suggest. The location and beach are both excellent, but the building itself is poorly maintained. The parking situation was difficult, with the only parking an overflow lot about 2 blocks away (theoretically, there is parking at the building, but not once during our vacation were we able to find a spot there.) There is a storage closet with about 6 beach chairs, but all are broken and unusable. Our biggest complaint was the management company, which was difficult to deal with throughout. Their required contract is about as about as onerous as they come, and will be strictly enforced. Among other things, we originally booked before Covid hit, and when it did, they were surprisingly inflexible in accommodating us our request to cancel, which we made several months in advance. Bottom line, not the worst place to stay, but we would not do it again, and we advise looking elsewhere.

My experience with this rental was great! The office staff stayed in touch to confirm our arrival time and provide excellent directions. The condo in which we stayed was very homey and provided everything that we needed. The cleaning staff does an amazing job and should be praised for their pride in doing their jobs well. Everyone in the complex was very friendly and made you feel like you were home. Parking was a little tight. I would recommend that those driving large SUV's and pickup trucks with trailer hitches on them be asked to park in the designated overflow. I would also suggest that for permanent residents and anyone who rent for an extended period of time (2 or more months), should be allowed to have a designated permanent parking place under the facility. We are looking forward to returning to this rental again and hopefully extending our vacation.

The condo was immaculate and the furnishings were updated and comfortable. We spent very little time in the condo and most of our time on the deck because the view is amazing! Our only issue because it is an older building, they appeared to be doing alot of maintenance on the building which prevented us from using the pool.
