In fact, our personal Villa is closer to the ocean and beach and more private than the most expensive suite available at the adjacent Rio Mar Wyndham Resort. Also, unlike rental agencies, you are guaranteed to get the unit and views we show. On the one hand escape from it all in your exclusive and private Villa with breathtaking views or soak up the sunshine by the private infinity pools or pristine palm tree lined beach. Our beautifully-decorated Villa features two bedrooms (One King/Two Queen) with two full bathrooms, living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining, and two private balconies. It is our special place so we have fully renovated and decked out every room with a huge 60 inch and two 42 inch Plasma HDTVs (all rooms are HD), wireless internet, full composition of premium movie channels and free local calling. Of course, we also bring you glorious direct views of the ocean and beach, and your choice of fresh ocean air or air conditioning. Then again, that is only half the fun as additionally you can enjoy amenities of a world-class resort to include up to 8 restaurants, lounges and entertainment, 2 miles of uninterrupted beach, casino, 2 choices in championship golf courses (Greg Norman’s River, Fazio’s Ocean), 13 tennis courts, water sports, and a relaxing spa. Very comfortable 2 bedroom condo perfect for my wife, our daughter and her friend. Pools and hot tub were great. beach was beautiful. Resort was quite large and there were several miles of roads that were easy to walk on for exercise. We don't golf, but the gold course was beautiful and uncrowded. 25 minute drive to Fajardo for fishing. Several good restaurant within a few minute drive. Grocery is less than 5 minutes away. Kitchen small but manageable and well stocked.

Our goal was to relax and enjoy the beach - this was perfect. The place was large and had a superb view with a wonderful balcony. We were close enough to the hotel that we could use their facilities and restaurants as well. We highly recommend it!

The host, Michelle, was very communicative, and the property manager provided detailed instructions on check-in procedures and directions. Both provided local recommendations. The property was as advertised with great amenities on site as well as at the adjacent Wyndham. While technically only the restaurants/bars are available to the guests of the Ocean Villas, it was not crowded during our stay, and we had no problem using the Wyndham pool, although we only went one day because the pools on site were so wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet resort style location, this is it! If you are looking for lots of activity and partying, this is not it! It was perfect for our family and centrally located allowing us to enjoy outings to San Juan, Fajardo, Luquillo, and El Yunque Rainforest easily. The Luquillo kiosks are just up the road. The condo itself was also as advertised and nicely equipped with beach and pool items, volleyballs (volleyball net on site), and football along with a stocked kitchen. Overall, a great stay!

The condo was perfect. Overlooking the water. The parking spot and pools are right underneath. The hotel/casino is right next door. The location is close to the rainforest, fishing and snorkeling spots. The only negative is the property is looking a bit worn. There is peeling paint, rust areas on metal. The landscaping is kept beautiful however.

We loved the location on the NE part of the island, with access to El Yunque, beaches, restaurants, and lots of outdoor activities. The pools on the property were relaxing for evening swims, and there were fun but not scary waves to bodysurf on the beachfront that was only about 30 meters away. The unit was great for our family of 4 and we found the owners to be responsive and easy to interact with.

Rooms are perfectly equipped for all ages. Spacoius and beautifully designed. Our only negative was the extremely worn beds that could use replacing.

Michelle's property was just as it appeared in photos and even better than expected. The beach is very long (walkable) and pristine, and there are 2 nice pools and a hot tub. The condo itself has 2 wonderful balconies and is large enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably. We appreciated how well stocked it was, including kitchen essentials and beach towels. Michelle was a wonderful communicator, providing restaurant and outing recommendations. We loved our vacation and plan to return!

My husband and I brought our 3 kids (13,10 and 9) for a 5 day stay. The unit was a perfect size for us- the kids had a separate bedroom and bathroom area for themselves. The balconies have great views of the beach and the pools. It was great waking up each morning to that palm tree and ocean view! The pictures don't lie! Kitchen has everything you need in terms of coffee maker, air fryer, blender, oven, microwave, big fridge, dishwasher and plates, cups, pans, etc. Laundry in unit was a huge blessing- don't need to pack as much! We will happily return! Location is great- about 45 min to Old San Juan, 30 min to the airport and 20 min to El Yunque and about 30 min to Fajardo for bioluminescent bay!

We were very happy with the location of this villa as we could walk right out to the beach, hang out at the private pools, or walk next door to all the bars and restaurants at the Wyndham. The drive to El Yunque was only ~ 15 minutes which was very convenient as well.
The villa property was clean and in good condition, although it is starting to show some signs of aging. There are AC units in each bedroom and the living room which kept the whole villa nice and cool. We really enjoyed sitting out on the comfy furniture on the balcony with the view of the ocean.
The property owner was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

The location is ideal for day trips to El Yunque, Old San Juan and the ferry terminal to Culebra. We enjoyed the view and access to an excellent beach on the resort grounds. The building is currently undergoing some needed renovations and repairs as of our stay in late March 2023. Exterior patch and paint is ongoing and appears to have a good way to go. One of two building elevators was out of service the entire week. The hot tub was not heated and a plumbing issue affecting the entire building resulted in zero running water for a few hours coinciding with a few days of significant interior odor that was likely related but subsided within a day or two of the repair. Aside from those items, the unit was plenty spacious for our family of 5 and while the kitchen is well appointed, the appliances are in need of repair (dishwasher and fridge each had broken interior parts). None of the above affected our stay in a significant way, but are noteworthy and overall the property and communications with the owner were excellent.

Our family of five rented this condo for our spring break. The condo is very spacious and well appointed. It has plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, toys etc. The a/c and wi-fi work great. The complex has several pools, volleyball, beach tennis, and easy access to the Wyndham hotel next-door. We spent one day exploring El Yunque and another day we rented a catamaran out of Fajardo. Grocery stores and Walgreens etc are close by. Highly recommend!

Beach front vacation at its finest

I stayed from Christmas night until New Year's Eve with my husband, and 2 kids (18 and 20). The location was ideal with proximity to San Juan (Old San Juan- charming, Ron del Barrilito distillery- amazing!), El Yunque National Forest minutes away (book your $2 reservation at 8 am the day before), and Fajardo (kayaking at Laguna Grande bioluminescent bay with Island Kayaking Adventure and snorkeling/catamaran half day trip to Icacaos with Sail Getaways), plus the fun Laquillo kiosks. My favorite things about the villa- large enough for my family to be together comfortably, has great beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a spectacular beach view balcony, beach gear (although 1 more chair would have been helpful), quiet pools, and proximity to the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar (for restaurants, bars, casino). Also, we loved the easy access to supermarkets so we could load up on breakfast and snacks (and cocktail mixers). I walked for miles every morning on the beach and often had it to myself! Michelle (the owner) was an excellent communicator, as was Melissa (the on-site Ocean Villas manager). We can't wait to return!

I highly recommend this rental! The location is fantastic - right on the beach and 15 minutes from El Yunque, 35-40 minutes east of Old San Juan, and 30 minutes west of the Fajardo bio-luminescent bay. The main Wyndham hotels with its restaurants and other amenities is less than a 10 minute walk away.
The property itself is exactly as described and photographed but is better stocked than we anticipated. There were ample blankets, pillows, and towels (both bath and beach) and a great stash of beach gear. The beds and furniture are comfortable and new. The unit is next to the elevator, but there is no noise from that. The parking spot is next to the elevator too, which was great for the people in my group with limited mobility.
Michelle was a great host - very quick to respond to any communication and very generous. I think this was one of the best vacation rental experiences we've had.

We visited for my Mom's 60th birthday (her first true vacation in 10 years) and were so sad to leave! Michelle was lovely to talk with and super responsive. The home is clean and bigger than pictures allude, with outstanding views of a nearly empty beach (in December). The kitchen is fully stocked and included common spices, dish soap, and laundry soap. It's so nice to see everything is not wasted following a stay but may benefit the next guest :) Seeing the moon rise over the water, with perfect clouds and palms framing it, was so magical. It was nice being close to many restaurants and Fajardo for a couple excursions. Access to El Yunque can't be beaten (but be sure to get reservations)! 100% would stay again and again!!

You couldn't ask for a better view. Right on the ocean. The villa was quiet, but within walking distance to the hotel if you wanted more activity. So, the best of both worlds. Michelle, the owner, was awesome to work with. Very informative and helpful throughout the process.

Very nice, spacious condo. Loved having two bedrooms and two full baths. Great, prompt communication with the owner. The only negative was that the power went out for a couple hours twice during the week.

Beachfront paradise
The property was even better than I expected. At first I was torn whether to stay at the Wyndham hotel next door but so glad I chose this rental. The property itself was spacious, beachfront with a spectacular view. The pools were great, the kids loved it. It was easy access to get to excursions- El Yunque, kayak tour and surfing in Luquillo. You can easily walk to the restaurants at the hotel next door. There is also plenty of other options close by. Would definitely recommend this condo!

Can’t beat the view or location!
Villa was very spacious and had plenty of room for four people. We honestly should have invited another couple. We have stayed at other locations on the Wyndham resort, but this villa had the best views. All you could see from the windows were palm trees, sand, and ocean waves. The villa was very quiet. We had the pool all to ourselves except for the last day. Can’t beat that! It was so nice to have an assigned parking spot that was covered and 20 steps from the elevator. Casino, restaurants, and hotel are a 3-5 minute walk from the villa. Owner was very helpful and responded quickly with answers to our questions. Would love to stay at this villa again.

Beach, pool, balcony, golf
My family and I had a wonderful week. The balcony overlooking the beach and pool is fabulous - perfect for yoga, morning coffee, enjoying the view - we all spent lots of time there. The villa is as pictured, the living room is perhaps larger than the pictures indicate. The beach itself is fantastic - a short stroll outside, the sand is soft, the water is warm, and we felt safe swimming here. There are beach chairs and an umbrella in the villa - I enjoyed setting up a chair in the shade of the palm trees. The area is great too. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants, especially Mi Vida Cafe, Don Pepe, and Rico Pan Bakery - all within a 5 minute drive. It’s also a very easy day trip to drive to San Juan - less than an hour if not rush hour - we drove in twice. El Yunque is also a very short drive-10 minutes- and is a fascinating to visit. It was convenient to have the hotel a short walk away if we didn’t want to drive off property to go to a restaurant. Michelle was extremely responsive, and there is an on-site management company if any issues arise. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!
The property is great, all that is needed for a great beach vacation was provided. Even better, when most of the island lost power last week, our trip was not impacted as there was generator power across the resort. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful family trip
We stayed over spring break and the condo was lovely, the view was amazing. Everything we needed was in the home including toys for the beach and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and anything else you’d need for cooking. (My husband appreciated the cable channels since the NCAA tournament had started and he could watch everything he wanted) Our family had a great time even despite and angry and red-flag ocean (if you walk 10mins up the beach around a point there was a wonderful and calm inlet that we went to multiple times and was safe for our 10,8, and 4 year old - well worth the walk when you can’t control the currents on your trip!) Pools we’re very nice. And it was close and easy to San Juan and El Yunqué. We ate at smaller local restaurants most of the time and did visit grocery stores. Our trip happened to land on the first real “open” week of the island after lifting all COVID restrictions, everything felt very safe and it was honestly all mostly outside.
But I have to say the most impressive part was the host, Michelle. This was our family March 2020 trip and was rescheduled multiple times during these crazy years. Michelle was nothing short of amazing and gracious throughout. She wanted us to enjoy our trip and to feel safe. She had no issues rescheduling or reimbursing if we had wanted to give up (so glad we never did!). She personally called me twice to chat and answer questions. She really went beyond expectations and I couldn’t be more happy with our choice.

This was a good location for our family. It was nice to have a relatively private pool/beach area and walking access to the resort. Rio Grande was also very close to El Yunque & Luqillo beach. It seemed like we were in close proximity to every activity/site we wanted to experience.
