Weather was beautiful. Condo was very nice, comfortable and well stocked. Advertised as “no need for elevator short flight of stairs”. Was a full flight of stairs that would have been very difficult for anyone with health issues. Walk from condo was a little difficult with bad knees as the dunes were high and sand very thick.

It was everything it said it would be! Right by the pool and the beach. The beach isn't very busy, which was nice. The condo was clean, easy to access, directions were clear and had everything we needed. There are many restaurant and dessert places within walking distance. It was a nice place to be able to relax with my wife for the week. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for everything! We enjoyed being so close to the beach and the pool, especially with a little one. The bed in the master could use a update, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable stay. Unit was dated but adequate. Appreciated the washer/dryer unit. However, we were disappointed in how dirty the main room carpet was when we entered.

In short, the place was located well, very neat, safe and great for adults or kids. Two problems for us were the air fresheners and the property was very dated. Either the fresheners or what they were covering up caused respiratory problems for me after the first night and even for a guest after playing cards for about two hours. As for the decor, that’s just our personal preference. Not really a problem. Overall, it was a great week.

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo! Loved the quick access to the beach and everything was very clean! The pool was very cold during our stay, so we unfortunately did not use it. We had no issues during our stay and would recommend it to anyone!
One small note...under the amenities it lists DVD player, but we could not find one. It was no biggie, but just noting it in case that matters to someone. The cable and netflix, YouTube, etc all worked fine and we were so busy we didn't use it much.

A very nice time! There were so many niceties. There was some coffee in the cupboard, spices, paper towels, garbage bags, napkins, Kleenex, TP, two different coffee makers! So clean with big comfy sofas. There were games, 3 TVs to watch, a lovely balcony with table and chairs and 2 higher chairs to sit on. Oceanfront and the owners are so nice.

Another great week at Mona's condo. We have rented this condo for several years, and it never disappoints. I love dealing with the owner, and I love the location. Feels like home away from home. The bathrooms have been recently renovated and look great. Can't wait for another trip.

The condo was very clean and the owner provided all the essentials needed for our stay. The location was great with a few restaurants right across the street and it was just a 10-15 minute walk to the boardwalk, shops, and more restaurants. The owner was quick to respond to any messages and even called with restaurant recommendations.

Everything we needed!
This unit is very clean and very quiet. The manager was quick and understanding of even the few very minor comments we shared about the unit upon arrival. Loved having easy access to the pools, the beach, and surrounding eateries and entertainment!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand Pebbles! Mona was responsive to all our needs and the condo was spotless! A great view of the ocean was only a step on the balcony away. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes/silverware. Although we didn’t have a beach the first two days due to NC Beach Reclamation Project, there are so many public access points we didn’t have to walk far. When the beach did open, it was not overcrowded. The beach walk up to the boardwalk was awesome! Many great restaurants and shops! Our favorite was the short walk the the Veggie Wagon. Great, organic food and drink. We also ventured into Wilmington and the historic district. It was about a 20 minute drive!

The property was just what we needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. It was well equipped, very clean and fresh looking and the furniture was comfortable. The view of the ocean from the balcony during the day and evening was lovely. We enjoyed out stay and would recommend it very highly to anyone else.

We had an infant and preschool on this trip. FIRST, cable package HAS THE KIDS CHANNELS! (Disney Jr, Nick Jr and Universal Kids[CoCoMelon]) This was a huge plus because most places we travel to do not have TV channels for our kids. This unit is in great proximity to the beach and pools. It made the toting of materials to the beach so much easier. We loved that we overlooked the pool so that one parent could stay in with infant in the afternoon without feeling left out from activities. We chose to rent umbrella and chairs from Pleasure Island Rentals as well. The 2nd bedroom is very spacious and was able to fit our pack and play as with both twin beds. The kitchen and laundry had plenty of supplies from previous guests as well. Location had a lot of perks for us as well with wagon ride to Squigley's Ice Cream (0.5mi), walk to Fun Time Ice Cream, and less than 10 minutes to the aquarium. Oh and you can also watch the boardwalk fireworks from outside on balcony =)

This rental lived up to its online pictures. The unit was beatifully furnished and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The location was great. A short distance to the boardwalk. There are 2 pools on the property and of course the ocean. Definitely recommend this property.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay on a private and uncrowded beach with a relaxing environment, then this is a good choice. There are plenty of activities for both kids and adults alike and people are very friendly. The condo finishings, appliances, and furniture are modest, but perfect for those who don’t plan on spending much time inside. We gave it a 4 because it could have been cleaner and there was surrounding neighbors smoking marijuana throughout the week, which is not ideal for our little children (though could be hit or miss). However, Mona was wonderful to speak with and took the time to provide suggestions and valuable information before heading down. We would certainly go back as we had a great family vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Carolina Beach. The weather was fantastic so that helped. This was our first VRBO rental. The experience was great. Check-in was a breeze. If you are looking for a nice place to stay on a private and uncrowded beach with a relaxing environment, then this is a good choice. There are plenty of activities for both kids and adults alike and people are very friendly. My Happy Place
Another great year at Mona's condo. This is the 3rd year we have rented this particular condo. Several upgrades from last year have occurred. I would recommend this place to anyone just wanting to get away and unplug. We will we back again. Thanks for making everything so easy Mona!

Excellent Choice
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the beach! The location was great! We were steps away from the beach and had many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our only complaint was a neighbor who sat out and smoked on their balcony, but understand that it is not the owners fault.
