About this house rental
SPECTACULAR describes everything about this house. The huge family room on the top floor and well equipped kitchen where you can entertain and feed your group of 12. There are views of the Gulf of Mexico or Santa Rosa Sound from every window. 2 master bedrooms with private baths, plus 2 more bedrooms and a futon and blow up twin in family room. Close to community pool. A pier that extends 180’ into the sound to fish and/or watch evening sunsets. Smart TVs in every room with lots of movies. Just a short walk thru the dunes to the Gulf. We also provide beach towels, a wagon for the beach AND plenty of sand toys. All you need to pack is a camera and your clothes! Please Note the Following Rules: No smoking, please. No pets! You must be at least 25 years old to rent. Our house is in a neighborhood where a number of families reside permanently. If you are looking for a loud party, this may not be the place for you.

Great location! Owner was very responsive and quick to help us out! Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of toys for children available. This was our fourth time staying here!

Great location for gulf , bay and pool ! The house was perfect. Thanks to quick response from the property owner, we avoided a checkin code issue . Would highly recommend this property to other family and friends!

Very nice property in a great location for us given we like a quiet vacation! We have stayed and this property two years in a row. The one negative that we had both years is with the mattress in the master bedroom. Both years the mattress had a huge dip in it and is in need of being replaced.

The house was great, but I really appreciated the communication with the owner/manager. Responses were very quick and helpful. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and the sound. We enjoyed the pier/dock and the pool.

Excellent Vacation Home
This place was perfect for our group of 8. Incredible views of the gulf and the sound and a really easy walk to an uncrowded beach. Was probably the most well-stocked vacation home I have ever rented as there was plenty of cookware, utensils, etc., that made things much easier for nights we cooked at home. Would definitely rent again.

Great stay and location for families.
The house was perfect for our family with plenty of space and all the amenities needed and more.
Location was perfect with a very short walk to the beach. More importantly, the beach at the location is sparsely populated relative to other spots.

Stairs were extremely dangerous, even for adults. Dishwasher leaked, oven door handle came off. My husband replaced a flapper valve in master toilet. Maintance of the property was not up to par. Location is wonderful.

Nice Property
We enjoyed our stay at this property! The neighborhood was nice and quiet with a short walk to the ocean or the bay! The only negative we had was that there was no propane in the grill. We made due though and had a very relaxing week and enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect space for our party of 6! We are glad we selected it over other options that we had!

Wonderful Beach Vacation
Awesome location & well-stocked home for a beach vacation. We loved being between the gulf and the bay and the wagon and sand toys were a big help for entertaining our children! Highly recommend. We would happily book this property again!

Well stocked house, except dish towels ( I use a lot). Was happy to have the beach wagon and toys to use! The bedroom on top floor needs a cover on the door as the room was bright in the early morning, but I brought a darkening sheet after reading previous reviews😬

We had an absolutely incredible stay. The whole house was very clean upon check in, all the amenities you could need, plenty of space for the 12 people we had. I do wish someone had told us the dock in the photos, subdivision dock, was destroyed. Must have been torn up in the hurricane and not repaired. We couldn't fish like we wanted to. But the house itself...incredible. The beach was beautiful and just a SHORT walk. The pool was great on the days the kiddos needed a break from the waves.

Great place to spend a week!
We had a great stay. The property is exactly as advertised (if not more). Great location with easy access to the beach. The pool was super convenient (especially for the little kids when they had enough of the gulf). If you're hyper picky, you'll notice some wear and tear on the house, but what do expect with Florida weather and so close to the water. The home is sound and well built, and provides tons of area to spread out. The bedrooms provided an ample place to escape at night, and the main floor was a great space. The open concept living room was bigger and had more seating than expected.
Communication was great with the owner. Details and instructions were clearly lined out. The check-in and check-out process was easy and nothing was unexpected or out of the ordinary.
I'd go back! Can I just go back, like tomorrow. It's way better than being at work.

This is the 7th time we have stayed at this property.
It needs some TLC and a very deep clean.
The location is good. Just a short drive into the action.
The walk to the beach is easy- recommend using the boardwalk just a few more steps down the beach.
There were no beach towels as advertised in the listing.
The community pool was not well maintained. A lot of the same trash from day-to-day scattered around.

Loved being able to use the beach wagon and the toys. Far enough from the main strip that you felt at home. The beach was not crowded. The water views from every window were awesome! We had an incredibly relaxing trip! My only suggestion would be to add some black out or darker curtains. The sunlight is BRIGHT in the rooms by 6 am (June).

We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the amenities provided in the home. The house was clean upon arrival and the owner provided detailed instructions for any and all aspects of the stay.

Short walk to the beach across 2 lanes instead of 4 lanes like you would get renting further up the road. All we had to bring was food honestly, of course we brought way more than we actually needed. This home gives you a very relaxing at home experience. Perfect for families with all ages of children. Nice quiet neighborhood as well. Except for the Portofino Resort people getting a little rowdy at their pool but it’s tolerable.

Our family had a great time staying in this home. We had everything we needed to be comfortable and the views of the sound and ocean were beautiful. The traffic was minimal and everything we needed for our stay was within close proximity to the house. Joy answered any questions we had very promptly. We would definitely stay in her home again.

It’s a really short walk to the beach, the sound, and the community pool. There is a lot of space in the house and it has everything you need for a week by the beach. We were impressed by the cleanliness and overall comfortable feel of the house. Restaurants and grocery stores are a short drive away. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids and listening to the waves crash on the beach from the balcony was a hit for the parents! Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay at Summer Beach Blues!

We loved our vacation to Pensacola. The house was the perfect size for our families! The walk to the beach was the perfect distance. We loved having the TV's in each room so at night we could all spread out and wind down from the day. We also loved having all the beach toys and wagon so we didn't have to bring all that! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
