We are back and better than ever! Enjoy this Caribbean style house with a verandah and sun deck right on the Atlantic Ocean in the beautiful Bahamas. This one of a kind house sits just north of Plymouth Village. From the back door you are just twenty steps away from a beautiful two and a half mile white sandy beach. An underwater sea garden reef is just off shore for snorkeling, lobstering or fishing. We also have a 45 KW back up generator that powers everything uninterrupted when Bahamas power goes off. We have city and a cistern so water is always available. This "made for entertaining home" has 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms on the first floor and 1 bedroom, full bath, and a common area downstairs. There is a full kitchen with granite counter tops and everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner. The open kitchen/dining area allows plenty of room for large groups. Right off the hallway is a washer and dryer. The living room has a large screen TV, DVD player, CD player, and a stereo system with indoor and outdoor speakers .The home also has wireless internet. The downstairs has been set up as a separate suite with a common area as well as a bedroom with three twin beds and one queen bed. We recently added a full bath downstairs for everyone’s convenience. One of the best features of the home is a large screened in verandah that stretches the entire length of the house. It's a great place to sit back, relax, and take in the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. Grab your favorite book and let the ocean breeze take you away. Early risers can watch the sun come up over the water while enjoying your morning coffee and for the night owls, a private jacuzzi where you can soak away all your worries under the amazing stars. Just left Paradise with 3 couples after a week stay. Communication with Rodney and then Dawn, the property manager, was top notch from booking to arrival. She is your best resource for all things! The house has the best view with a large screened in porch, and the home has been completely renovated, looks brand new, and is well stocked with all things. Bring your own snorkel gear, and if needing more than 4 beach chairs, you may have to find some. We borrowed from the neighbor but later found out that Brindels dive shop has all of the above items.
We rented golf carts and the company had them waiting for us at the ferry dock. This house is closest to the Benson Dock. We golf carted around the entire island, exploring all Green Turtle has to offer!
Many beautiful beaches, pretty easy to find via labeled trails, dive bars and restaurants . Some of our faves were-

Best party-Nippers, have someone captain you over by boat, or rent a boat from sunset marina (adam)
The beach directly behind the house is rocky, but it’s a short walk (along the beach) to several sandy beaches, or a quick golf cart ride away.
Plenty small grocery stores and liquor stores on the island, but we stocked up in marsh harbor before getting on the ferry.
Beware of the pigs if you go to Big Os, they bite!
This island was picturesque and we enjoyed our visit.

Our group of 7 adults and 4 little ones found the house was perfect for our needs. The kids had their own space in the lower level while adults were in the main floor.

Perfect house! Owners (and Dawn) were the MOST accommodating I’ve ever encountered. I’ve rented hundreds of times on various vacations and they have been THE BEST by far!! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Amazing property, with an unbelievable location. Watch the morning sunrise- sit on the amazing back porch- was perfect for our family. Will be back!

Gorgeous rebuild and designer touches make this house one of the best in GTC. Rodney and Kari are wonderful hosts. Dawn is fabulous caretaker. Her team turned over the house spotless on check-in and was very helpful with anything that needed attention. Glad to see GTC thriving. Had a fantastic time.

Great house for a big group. Kids can hang out downstairs in the lower living room when they needed a break from the sun and beach. Great screened in porch to keep the bugs away and watch the sunrise.

We had a group of 16 total, adults and children. From the moment we stepped into the house the ocean view and large screened in porch grabs your attention. We had a great stay from booking to check out. Great communication with the owners of the property and Dawn. The house has everything you can think of and more. The beds were SO comfy like a cloud I wanted to take it home with me. Everyone in my group have only positive things to say about our stay. For such a large group in one house we never felt on top of each other. Do not miss out on this house if you get the opportunity.

Awesome property and location. The house was absolutely beautiful, well stocked, with plenty of room for all. The porch was to die for and well used by our group. The entire trip was perfect from Dawn's help to beautiful weather and great food. Will definitely book again.

First of all property manager Dawn was right at the dock to meet us and bring us to the house. The momment you walk in the view is breathtaking!!! This house had the best provisioning we've ever had. Ice Maker produced enough ice for 11 adults and our coolers for bait and drinks. The linens and bedding were top notch and the beds were all very comfortable. Everyone was complimentary. The Hot Tub is huge! Hard to swim right off the house but there are several coves you can walk to that are beautiful. Omrie our driver did all our transportation both directions and was always ontime with a smile. We rented a boat at Sunset Marine and Adam and staff were very helpful and attentive, Best Conch fritters are between the Licquor Store and Green Turtle Club. So the only awful thing that happend was our entire family had to watch the Boston Bruins play horribly with bad calls from Refs.
This house will not disappoint!! Planning to go back next year!!

Just returned from a week on GTC. We were a group of 14 - 7 couples and we rented 2 homes. Belle Mare and a house across the street - Chelonia. Belle Mare was well equipped and even more beautiful in person than the photos. Views were stunning. Location was great. House manager Dawn was very attentive and quick to respond when we had a plumbing issue. Everything was fabulous.

A wonderfully accommodating, beautifully-appointed beach house. All spaces were used so well, and there is no wasted space. We absolutely loved the open kitchen and living room and all of the bedrooms. Having laundry access was a necessity, as it is at any beach home. Everything was there for our convenience. The bedding was light and very nice, and the beds were comfortable. The on-island caretaker, Dawn, was a dream and answered all of our questions and beyond. Being born on the island, Dawn is a wealth of information. She truly cares about the house and Green Turtle Cay. Her care for the home was evident everywhere when we checked in. She couldn’t have been friendlier and kinder to us. She was like having a friend on the island, and we look forward to returning to Green Turtle to visit with Dawn! Communication with the owners leading up to our vacation was flawless. They were available and eager to help us navigate the ins and outs. The location of the home is wonderful, right on the beach. We had a wonderful time walking the beach and the view from the home. The screened in porch is the best we have ever had at a rental. We used it all day every day, and it was wonderful to have our morning coffee in. No bugs, and perfect. The weather while we were there was a little bit iffy, and the water was fairly rough, but we had a wonderful time nonetheless, and that is all because of Bella Mare, Green Turtle Cay, its owners and Dawn!

The property was very much as depicted within the photographs and written description. We were curious to see how much Green Turtle had rebuilt after the hurricane several years ago. This property has totally been reconstructed from the ground up and has very updated finishes, appliances, fixtures, and furnishings. Very nice! The resorts within the north end of the island have been rebuilt, and are very nice, the south end at New Providence has a ways to go, but there are some restaurants that are doing well. All, in all an amazing experience we really appreciation the local property manager and owner how checked in with us several times. We would not hesitate to go back.

We have never been to Green Turtle Cay before and found it relaxing, non-commercialized and very nice people. Our accommodations were spectacular and everyone on the island was friendly. Dawn and her family were very helpful will all of our questions and helped our large group back and forth to the ferry with our luggage.

It was our first time to the island, and the the trip did not disappoint. We were met at the dock and helped with our luggage which was excellent. The property was great, comfy beds and nice rooms, Dawn was just a text away if we needed anything.. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub. Overall a great experience, and we look forward to our next trip to GTC, and we will definitely stay at Bella Mare in the future.

A Week in Paradise
My family and I spent a week on GTC and could not have picked a better place to stay. The home is conveniently located close to "town" and where we rented our boat for the week, which made life easier. When we walked into the door of Belle Marre we were wowed by the view!! We were pleasantly surprised with how well stocked the home was, too. We have stayed at many rental homes and are usually prepared to bring our own supplies, but this house had everything, from toilet paper to dish and laundry detergent. As a family with 3 tall boys, we appreciated the ample supply of large beach towels. The beds were comfortable and there was nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves crashing outside. Our oldest boy loved having the basement to himself. He called it his apartment. Two families could easily share this home and have plenty of space. We loved sitting on the screened in porch for breakfast and for cocktails at night, as it kept any bugs away. And having the generator was a bonus, as we did lose power for a couple hours one evening. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about this home. Thanks for sharing it with us and allowing us to have such a memorable family vacation. We will definitely be coming back!!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful, the furnishings are lovely, and the view is breathtaking. Being right on the beach was priceless; we spent tons of time snorkeling right off of the back deck! Having the swimming pool on the deck was a real lifesaver on sweltering hot days...we did a lot of floating and reading. We rented golf carts and were easily able to get all over the Cay. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone planning to spend time on Green Turtle Cay.

Perfect in so many ways and exceeded our expectations!
This house has it all- view, location, comfort, amenities. The view is spectacular. The house is well laid out to accommodate our group of 12. Snorkeling right out in front of house. The screened porched was perfect for our group to gather for the morning coffee, watching the sunrise and planning the day. The owner was incredibly accessible and a pleasure to work with. He can provide many recommendation on what to do and where to go. Met some of his friends on the island and learned from them that my impression was spot-on.
I cannot wait to return to this place and highly recommend this house!

Best in the Abacos
View from the pool cannot be beat anywhere in the Abacos. Outdoor living space was well thought out for any type of weather. This house has everything you need for a spectacular vacation. Wish I could live there all year! Saw turtles, ocean triggerfish and dolphin in the ocean from the deck. Spectacular snorkeling and sea glass hunting right in front of the house. Close proximity to everything on the island. GTC is a special place with a great sense of community and family. Plenty of places to go during low tide, high tide and out on the boat. Been going to the Abacos for 20 years and first time in GTC. Perfect two weeks for us and we'll be back next year. Rodney is the first owner we have ever met and is laid back and more than helpful. Austin and Natasha are the perfect caretakers and make you feel at home. Only disappointment is that we didn't explore this island and home years ago.

Great Stay at Bella Mare
We enjoyed our time a Bella Mare. Rodney was very responsive to our communications as prepared for our visit. Austin and Natasha were very helpful picking us up from the ferry and assisting us during our stay. The home was spotless and we took advantage of the copious amenities offered at the house. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking to have a convenient property to stay at while on Green Turtle. The ferry dock is a 2 minute cart ride as is the boat rental place we used. Trips to New Plymouth are quick. We went to the other end of the island to the Tranquil Turtle on Saturday when the weather was nasty. We would love to come back and stay again and are making plans to return already sometime in the next 2 years.

Fantastic Family Vacation at Bella Mare!
We stayed at Bella Mare on Green Turtle with our son, daughter and their families for a week in March. The home is very spacious, elegantly decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. It is located right on the ocean but still within walking distance of town. We loved the huge screened in porch with hot tub and pool! The view of the ocean when you walk in the door is spectacular! Daily activities included walks on the beach, exploring the island, swimming in the ocean, enjoying different restaurants and one day we rented a boat and stopped at other beaches. It was a great vacation would definitely highly recommend staying at Bella Mare!!

Rodney was so easy-going and helpful during the booking process answering my barrage of questions and helping me figure out logistics; Austin, the care-taker greeted and checked on us regularly; and Dawn, the house-keeper stocked the house ahead of time with drinks & groceries and answered questions timely and even invited us to a party next door. We felt so taken care of and welcome. Weather was a bit stormy a few days, but we still were able to do most everything we had hoped to. Green Turtle Cay is beautiful and laid back, which is just the vibe we all needed. We rented 3 go-carts from Seaside Carts and two boats from Sunset Marine & Boat Rental, who stocked our coolers each morning for us. We will definitely be back as our only complaint that can even begin to form is the bugs liked us a little too much. Bring your deet. 5 ⭐️ from us all. Beautiful home on the beach
we had a great time @ bella mare. Excellent location. Beautiful views. Housed our large group comfortably. Austin was a great caretaker. He was always availble to answer our questions and he promptly took care of anything we needed. We love green turtle and will definitely stay @ bella mare again
