Located in Lake Arrowhead, this charming cabin for R 6,299 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. We have recently relisted with VRBO/Home Away after pausing for a few years, we are back and happy to host again! Alpine Nest is a beautiful multi level home with large vaulted ceilings and a commanding fireplace. With over 2,500 sq feet there is plenty of room to relax, unwind, and get away from it all. Located on a flat lot in a quiet woodsy neighborhood. Entertainment galore with a game room loft featuring a pool table, foosball, dartboard, an additional loft TV with playstation 3 and games. The main living room features a 65" TV with Netflix, Amazon, cable TV and loads of DVDs and boardgames. The backyard features a ping pong table, basketball hoop, and a gas BBQ and patio lounge furniture and fire pit on the deck to be enjoyed during the summer months. Walk into the main level floor through the mudroom with a whimsical arched doorway leading to the main living room. Main living room has a very large gas fireplace with beautiful windows all the way up to the 30 ft ceiling. Dining room, kitchen, living room, and one bathroom make up the main floor. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils, spices, etc that you would need. It also has a nice open layout with a bar countertop with stools overlooking the dining and living room areas. A spiral staircase leads up to the upper game loft with a pool table, foosball table, dartboards, loads of board games, DVDs, books. An additional bathroom and separate loft bedroom area with a queen size bed and additional TV with a playstation 3 and games complete the upper level. This is what is considered the 4th bedroom, but it is not fully enclosed. There is a 3 foot wall overlooking the living room. From the main floor dining room take the stairs down to the lower level hosting 2 bedrooms with Cal King beds each and 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds to sleep 4 children (no adults in the bunk beds allowed, these are child size bunk beds). An additional bathroom with washer & dryer complete the lower level. The house is not child proofed, but babies & young toddlers are welcome. There is baby gates, a highchair, and a pack & play at the house. We have toys, games, books, and movies for all ages. We are in a shady, woodsy area of the lake with nice afternoon breezes during the summer and a living room fireplace for the cool summer evenings. *To request a reservation please message us about yourself and your group and list the names and ages of each person in your party. A photo of the driver's license or passport of the person making the reservation will be required, along with your guest's names. Minimum renter age of 28+. HOUSE WILL ACCOMMODATE A MAXIMUM OF 6 ADULTS AND 4 CHILDREN. No more than 6 adults allowed. Our calendar is always up to date. Check in time is 3:00 pm, checkout is 11 am Please be respectful of us and our neighbors and note that this is not a party house. We are in a very quiet neighborhood. Events such as weddings, photoshoots, etc are not allowed. If you are booking a stay between November - May, please note there is a high chance it will snow and you may need to use the snow shovel to get in and out of the driveway during your stay. Our road is regularly plowed and we plow the driveway on check in day. However if it snows during your stay it takes up to 24-48 hrs to get the driveway plowed again. In these cases the guests will need to make sure they are physically able to shovel themselves out of the driveway if needed. Always carry chains and know how to put them on your vehicle.

Amazing home, would love to come back in the summer! We stayed with our 4 kids, ages 9 to 7 months. The big kids an enjoyed the game room while the babies explored the toys. The house had a great set of baby gates that made the trip SO much easier. Can’t wait to come back!

The pictures are spot on what the property looks like. The property is Beautiful and well maintained. I can’t even explain how beautiful the windows and view of the trees are. It is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of books, games and puzzles available to keep you busy. The game room area is perfect for entertaining and keeping you busy on the cold nights. Akiko is very helpful and answers any questions that you might have. Great space for parking and nicely located. I can’t think of one thing that went wrong. Perfect Family Vacation. Highly recommend

This property was really great! The overall flow of the house was really nice and all of the furnishings were comfortable and of high quality. The place was stocked with everything you need. The pool table was a lot of fun and so were all of the other games provided. It was exactly what we were looking for.

We had an amazing time at the house. It was gorgeous and everything we expected. We are from Arizona and we constantly live with our AC on, so we were a little out of sorts with just using the night air. There are fans in every room so we were still comfortable. Only caution is if you decide to move the little chair and end table that is under the stairs, you might want to put a jacket or shirt on the stairs to remind you to duck. We moved them to make it easier to bring in all our luggage and groceries and my sister ended up hitting her head really hard on the stairs. Not the house or owners fault at all. Our own stupidiness at work again. The area is beautiful and makes me remember how much I miss the greenery. Akiko was super nice and very responsive. Will definitely reach out and stay here again should we travel back to the area.

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations. We loved the spacious living areas, the family friendly game room, and the well stocked kitchen. The owner has considered all of the possible needs of a guest in Lake Arrowhead. The accomodations are clean, updated and cozy.

We really enjoyed our stay after Christmas. Easy access up the mountain with a salted driveway upon arrival....Thoughtful ;) Adults loved chilling by the fireplace and playing pool while the kids dug the PS3, foosball, and board games. Great kitchen for making breakfast, gas grill for grilling steaks, and a little booze in the pantry ;) Comfy beds too! Great stay.....Definitely a return trip!

My family (2 adults and 4 children) had a great stay in this clean and cozy house. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and there was enough to keep all ages entertained within the house. The owners provided many details on the house and area surrounding it which made for a very relaxing and fun vacation! Would definitely return again!

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and my family was so happy to stay at the beautiful Cook house. Akiko was a great communicator and provided tons of insight to the area. We took a hike using her instructions and had a blast! Everything in the house was thought of and provided. We spent the days exploring Lake Arrowhead and nights cooking and playing games from the fully stocked game room. We enjoyed hot chocolate by the fire place and my 16yr old loved the loft area with a TV, place to sleep, and a bathroom all to herself. The beds were super comfy and my sleep was fantastic. We loved our stay in the house and Lake Arrowhead. Thank you so much! We will be back.
