Located in Poipu, this attractive condo for R 4,041 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Kauai has so much to offer, and our condo puts you in the perfect location to see and do everything. You can come back again and again and still find new sights to see and new adventures to tempt you. Our condominium will be your home-away-from-home while you are in Kauai. It has been decorated island style with bamboo/ratan furniture and Hawaiian print materials. The two lanais are one of the best things about the condo. The lanai off the bedroom allows you to watch the sun come up, while the lanai off the living room gives you a front-row seat to spectacular sunsets. There is a separate bedroom with a California king-size bed and large walk-in closet. The bathroom is large with a separate toilet area. The walk-in shower is over-sized so you won't feel cramped. There are two sinks for your convenience. The rest of the condominium is open and airy, thanks to the vaulted ceilings and open floor plan. The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to make a snack or a full meal. The separate dining room comes with views of the garden. The living room is comfortable, and the sofa folds out into a queen-size bed. The closet downstairs has everything you need for a day at the beach: boogie boards, chairs, coolers, etc. The condo is a great place to relax in comfort after a busy day or any time. Kahala and Poipu Kai Resort have several activities for you. There are two swimming pools on the property and one hot tub. Several barbecues are around the gardens so that you can prepare some of your meals outdoors. The resort has tennis courts if you want a bit more activity. A few minutes walk will get you to some of the best beaches on Kauai. Take the path from the front door and find yourself at Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach Park. Brennecke Beach has great waves for boogie boarding. The very next beach is Poipu. This beach has lifeguards on duty for your safety. Poipu Beach is divided into three parts: protected wading pool (perfect for young children), a somewhat protected area that is great for snorkeling and swimming, and an unprotected area for some surfing. There are also some tide pools that have little sea creatures in them. It comes with a park with play equipment for children, covered eating areas and barbecues, picnic tables, trees for shade, and bathrooms. Across the street you can rent surfboards or find something to eat. There are walking paths to beaches and other parts of the resort. You can take a nice walk to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, which is located on Shipwreck Beach. The grounds of the Hyatt are beautiful and there are several restaurants at this location. The Hyatt also has the largest spa on Kauai. It's worth the walk over! Two golf courses are within a mile of the condo, but there are a total of nine courses on the island. You can even find a miniature golf course on the north shore. Two shopping areas are close by: Poipu Shopping Village and Shops at Kukui'ula. Both have shops with island merchandise, clothing, and so on. They each have a variety of restaurants. (If you eat at Keoki's Paradise Restaurant in the Poipu Shopping Village be sure to have some Hula Pie for dessert!) Poipu Shopping Village has Hawaiian dance shows a couple of times a week. There is a general store at Poipu Shopping Village where you can pick up a few things for your kitchen. The closest town is Koloa. Also known as Old Koloa Town, it is historically significant as being the first sugar plantation town on the island. You'll have fun poking around the little shops. There are two grocery stores in Koloa so you can supply your kitchen. A couple of other close-by sights to see are Spouting Horn and National Tropical Botanical Garden. These are up the coast, not too far from the condo. Everything you've read about so far is within 5 miles of the condo. There is still so much to see and do beyond this. There are hiking trails all over the island. Some are difficult, so make sure you know what you're getting into before you set off. Other activities around the island include snorkeling and scuba diving, boat trips and kayaking, helicopter and airplane tours, whale and turtle watching, horseback and ATV rides, wind and kite surfing, land and ocean tours, and much more. No matter where you go during the day, you have the comfort of knowing you'll be returning to your home-away-from-home at the end of the day.

Great stay in Kauai! Condo was in the perfect location and just a very short walk to Poipu Beach. We enjoyed the spacious accommodations and all of the amenities. It allowed us to have breakfast in the morning, pack our lunch to take with us exploring the island and then return to enjoy sunset each evening on Poipu Beach with the sea turtles and monk seals.

The condo was very clean and modern. We especially loved the big shelf in the hallway for our suitcases and the fact that they had ice packs to use during our day. We utilized the kitchen

What a great property. Our Family of 4 had a wonderful time over Christmas!! The place couldn't have been in a better location.. Super close to Poipu beach and the place was well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. Even had boogie boards, chairs and a cooler that could be used for the beach. It had everything we needed for our 1st 4 nights in Poipu. John and Connie were super quick with questions and the best hosts!!

This condo is in a great location with easy walk to the beach and a quick drive to hikes, shopping and dining.
The layout is spacious and comfortable and stocked with everything you need. The kitchen was better stocked than most any rental I’ve stayed in!
The lack of air conditioning should be noted, but the owners are very up front about it and have fans to accommodate. We enjoyed the front and back lanais and peaceful grounds.

The unit was very nice but starting to age. The kitchen faucet was/is loose and has been for months. The shower mixing valve really doesn’t work so cold to Luke warm showers at best. The location is great so I would give the property a B grade. If the shower and the kitchen faucet were in good working order I would give it an A for a week or two stay but not a weekend visit.

We enjoyed this spacious one bedroom condo located less than a 10 minute walk from Poipu Beach and lots of restaurants and activities. The condo was very clean with slightly older furnishings (the sleeper couch was an old school type with a thinner mattress). Instructions from the host were very clear, thus making additional communications unnecessary. As described, there is no a/c, but we were more than comfortable with just the fans in the unit in the September heat because of the breeze outside. Parking was right next to the condo, and the two pools were a decent size and not too crowded. We will definitely return to this unit.

This condo was a great place for our small family get together. We had an enjoyable time. There is a nice pool and hot tub we were able to use. We also played tennis a few times as well. This is our 2nd time staying here and we hope to stay again some time.

The first time my sister and I stayed in your home was prior to COVID. We loved it so much we tried to book it in advance in subsequent years but we’re beat out! This stay was booked 2 years in advance, and honestly, we wondered if it would be as wonderful as we remembered…IT WAS!!! We love the walk to the beach, the casual comfort and the deck is beyond compare! We call the deck “the treehouse “ as it is so beautifully lined on the side with palm trees that provide shade and privacy. We have been making our annual sister trip to various islands for 15 years-we are both nurses and work hard…relaxing in your home is the very best treat of all! Thank you so much!!!

Incredible spot with excellent amenities, extremely well-equipped kitchen and gear, very comfortable stay for our family of four. Loved the layout of the condo and the two lanais. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo.
The unit was spacious; the vaulted ceilings opened up the front room area, we never felt cramped.
The king bed was very nice, we slept well; the bathroom shower was perfect as was the double vanity.
Our favorite area was the West facing balcony where we spent many hours reading, eating, napping and watching sunsets. The palm trees protected the deck keeping the sun at bay and the area cool.
In the kitchen, everything was provided, the large ice box was a plus, with all appliances.
The owners are easy to get a hold of and communication was good.
This unit was the most comfortable of all previous ones that we stayed at in Poipu and is highly recommended.

Ample sized condo with all necessary conveniences. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Excellent Wi-Fi. Easy walk to Poipu beach and we were fortunate to seen numerous Green Sea Turtles. Several 2–4-mile walks in the area. We brought a laptop for streaming movies. I'd recommend bringing a shower mat for safety. Several shopping areas within a few miles. We recommend getting a copy of "The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook" by Andrew Dougherty which was excellent. (Check your Public Library).

This was a perfect VRBO for me and my wife while visiting the southern part of Kauai. The unit is very spacious with a large bathroom, two outdoor patios, and plenty of beach supplies in the front closet. About an hour’s drive from Waimea Canyon if you’re into hiking. We preferred the beaches on the northern / eastern part of the island, but every night brought an opportunity to see wild sea turtles resting on the shores of the beach about a five minute walk from the unit. Would certainly consider staying here if we visit Kauai again!

Rental process was great. Very nice property and a nice complex. Didn’t realize it was a second floor condo—not a big problem. A few areas in the condo weren’t quite as clean as we expected (cups in the cupboard, fan in the bathroom)—but overall not a big issue. Kind of near the road and a long walk to the beach.
Overall pleased with our visit. Near the rest of the family at the Grand—and Kauai is always gorgeous! Had a nice time—and enjoyed our stay.

The location was great with easy walking access to the beach and pools on site. The condo was incredibly clean and well stocked with kitchen and beach supplies. Even without AC the fans did a great job cooling down the place at night. A nice bonus was the comfortable patio furniture to enjoy the sunsets on!

This was the perfect location for my husband and I to spend our 1 year anniversary. You are within walking distance to Poipu beach which was amazing. As well the back porch is a perfect place to relax and read a book. The only thing to note is there is no AC so it does get quite hot inside!! It cools off some at night so we didn’t have issues sleeping, however that is something to note!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house was gorgeous and had anything we needed. We were very appreciative of the beach gear. We were so close to the beach, and easily walked down there. We ate lunch on the lanai, and watched the stars in the evening. The pool and hot tub area were very close and clean. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. Our family fell in love with the island and hope to return to your property in the future.

Check in/check out was easy and instruction were clear.
Walkable distance to Poipu beach where we saw lots of turtles. We also enjoy the pool and the BBQ, and close by restaurants after a full day of visiting around. Owners provided extra fans, so we didn’t feel the heat at night.

This is a beautifully decorated upper-floor home, perfect for a small family or couple to stay in. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking at home; the two lanais/patios provided great places to sip coffee or evening drinks; the bed was comfortable. With jalousie windows on 3 sides, we enjoyed the fresh breeze and did not at all miss the air-conditioning. The walk downhill to Poipu Beach was even shorter and nicer than it seemed on the map. Wonderful place to stay!
