About this villa rental
Located in Cruz Bay, this lovely villa for R 3,469 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Coral Caribe is nestled on a hill overlooking beautiful Fish Bay on the southern shore of St John. Fish Bay is a very quiet, peaceful area. This beautiful 1 bedroom upper villa has everything to make your vacation complete. Kitchen has all necessary appliances and utensils. Dining room table seats 4 or enjoy your meals on the expansive deck. Relax on the new furniture on the deck. Wake up to a gorgeous view of Fish Bay from the king-size bed. Full bathroom is located off the bedroom. October 2019 we added a Murphy bed in the Living Room area and a half bath. The villa can now accommodate 4 people comfortably. Ceiling fans and the trade winds usually create a comfortable temperature in the house. There is a split unit air conditioner in the Living Room and a small unit in the bedroom if needed. December 2021 we added additional solar panels with battery back-up, so you shouldn't have to deal with island power outages. Comfortable rattan furniture to watch television or gaze out the patio doors and enjoy the view. Dish Network is provided. Smart TV, for use of Netflix, etc. On clear days, you can see St Croix. Beach chairs, beach towels, noodles and coolers are provided for your use, as you enjoy your adventures to the many beautiful beaches on the island. Beaches on the north shore are approximately a twenty minute drive. St John is two thirds National Park, so you can also hike the many trails on the island. Cruz Bay is about a ten minute drive from the villa. You can enjoy many dining options as well as music at the local establishments. The water at the house runs through a UV filtration system. Bathroom towels are provided. Wi-Fi is available. AT&T and Sprint carriers normally work on the island, although cell phone service is spotty. Our manager, will greet you at the ferry dock. He can bring you to Coral Caribe Villa or take you to a Jeep Rental of your choice and you can follow him to the house. You may also want to stop in town to pick up groceries on your way. There is limited Taxi service to the villa. A Jeep rental is recommended. $25 per night per additional guest over 2 guests .

We really enjoyed our stay! The view is wonderful and can be seen from the bedroom, the dining area and the living area (and of course on the deck). The apartment was breezy. We appreciated the clothes line which came in so handy for drying our stuff. We love that Cruz Bay is an easy 10-minutes away but we can also take a different route that bypasses Cruz Bay to get to the North and East shores. Would definitely want to stay here again in the future.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. SOOOO peaceful, beautiful views, well furnished, with attention to detail, and excellent host! Melisa and Rob are the best! It's obvious they take pride in their property. The location is very secluded, but the opposite end of the island (which was Hansen Beach, our favorite) is only a 35 minute drive. You'll be 12 minutes from Cruz Bay where most of the restaurants and stores are located, and a maximum of 30 minutes from all the most popular beaches. If you are on your vacation for peace and relaxation, Coral Caribe on St John will be a perfect destination!

Easy check in. Kitchen had all the amenities that you may need. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning and evening. Great location! We will definitely stay here again.

Melisa and Rob were incredible telling us the best beaches and wonderful places to eat. They made you feel right at home. The house was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The house had the best view and very nicely equipped with everything you need for a stay. Only place we will stay on St. Johns

This spacious house was everything we could have wanted. The huge deck had a fabulous view and also kept the house cool. With lovely breezes we didn’t need the AC. The entire back of the house is sliders, so even if it was raining or too hot to be on the deck, we still had the feeling of being outdoors.
Super well equipped kitchen, great outdoor grill, very comfy bed, beach chairs and snorkel equipment , a washer/dryer and a special filtration system even allowed us to drink the water.
Fish Bay is a nice quiet area to stay. The stars at night were spectacular with no city lights to hide them. A real find!

The location of the house is very convenient, close to the restaurant and ferry, yet still quiet as it sits on top of the hills. There are indeed some sharp turns on your way going up, hence a 4-wheel drive car is much needed. The rooms are clean and big enough to make the three of us stay comfortably. The hosts are super nice and extremely helpful, and we will definitely come back again!

If you know….you know
The pictures don’t do this place justice. Scott was amazing by meeting us at the ferry dock, getting us to the car rental, to the grocery store and to the villa. The place was tastefully decorated, amazingly comfortable and provisioned well. It was a great home base after a day of beaching, boating or just heading into town for a great meal. Bob the cat greeted us every time we left or returned setting the vibe for a very decompressed, and chill vacation. I’ve already said too much, go and stay here for yourself. You will come back a more relaxed person!

Lovely hidden gem
This was an amazing place to stay- incredible views, very peaceful. Bed was comfortable, AC strong- although we had a great breeze. The deck is amazing! Would love to stay here again!

Spacious! Great View!
Spacious and comfortable house! Very quiet area. Rob was very accommodating in picking us up (our flight was many hours late). Great view of Fish Bay! Before booking, you should know that the drive up Caribe Rd is challenging. There are 4 hairpin turns on Caribe Rd. In my 4-door Jeep Wrangler, I usually had to back up in each hairpin turn before finishing the turn. If you have a 2-door, it should be easier. If you are used to the roads in St John, you know that many roads are challenging. Other than Caribe Rd, we loved it. There were just 2 of us. Didn't use the Murphy bed. House would be a little tight for 2 couples but should work fine for a family of 3 or 4.

We are now "Fish Bay People"
Our first trip to St. John and we fell in love with the island. We initially stayed in Cruz Bay to get our bearings, and then left for Coral Caribe. Words cannot express how beautiful the view is here. The unit is pristine and the lay out is perfect. We loved it here and were so sad to leave. The tip about hiking to Genti Bay was brilliant and we made the hike our first day. We cannot recommend this enough. Thank you also for the snuggles from Brandy the puppy.

Beautiful view, great location, helpful hosts
We had a fantastic time at this house on the hill. The view is spectacular and so great to wake up to each morning and enjoy with coffee on the deck.
The hosts, Rob and Melisa, were very communicative and helpful. The whole check in and out process was easy.
The house had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable, even the Murphy bed in the living room. And we really appreciated that we were just far enough removed from Cruz Bay that it was quiet and peaceful but still close enough to be very convenient.
I would definitely go back again and recommend to others. We loved our stay!

Sunshine in St. John
We were delighted to meet up with Scott the property manager even though it was late as we had arrived on the last ferry from St. Thomas. He led us up to the house and gave us a rundown of how everything worked. It is so beautiful up in hills and the stars at night were magnificent. Each day was a new adventure starting with a sunny view of Fish Bay. The beaches were pristine and the weather perfect. Many thanks for a lovely time at Villa Caribe.

Hosts communicate well. Great location & neighborhood. Far enough away from Cruz Bay to be quiet, but close enough to stores, restaurants, etc. Great property, decent road, good parking. Home was very nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. Well laid out and very comfortable. Very nice deck w beautiful view. We had a great stay.

Amazing Place to Stay!
We been to Island a few time but this was the first with our kids. This place was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. Air Conditioning worked great. The view is absolutely amazing. Our boys enjoyed it very much. Bob the cat was also very welcoming and greeted us all daily. We are already looking to plan another trip. Thank you guys for allowing us to experience your place.

Fabulous View
We had an excellent stay! Fabulous Fish Bay!
Such a cute cottage! Everything was super clean and accommodating to our needs from the comfortable bed, the laundry, the grill… everything was great! We would totally consider staying there again in the future. Also an extra perk was Bob! What a cutie!

Wonderful
The property is wonderful. It is very clean and well upkeep. The view is magnificent. Hospitality is above and beyond. The AC unit in master bed is loud but to solve the problem, you can leave it on before bedtime to cool down and turn off when sleeping. Thank you very much!!

Honeymoon Getaway
My husband and I started our honeymoon here at Coral Caribe. We loved our stay — great amenities and a beautiful view.
The only trouble we had was a couple long power outages. However, this was island-wide and doesn’t reflect on the property at all. Just an FYI for future travelers. Highly recommend this booking location!

Perfect!
We loved every minute of our stay here. The porch was perfect and everything was clean and well kept. We loved that beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler were all provided. These helped us enjoy all the great beaches St. John has to offer! We hope to come back soon!
