Beautiful and comfortable, the patio outside was perfect with the view overseeing the pier. This won’t be the last time we stay here.

Nice set up of house. Bathrooms had not been cleaned, grills and some outside lights did not work. But overall would rent again.

60th Birthday Fishing Trip
Celebrated my husband's 60th birthday by staying at Port Mansfield in your wonderful home. The lit-up private pier was so nice with the fishing house at the its end. The kitchen was also very well equipped with nice pots, pans, dishes and other important cooking utensils so that I could cook our delicious trout and red fish from our catch. The bathrooms were nice with large walk-in showers. I am going to earmark this home for our next Port Mansfield fishing getaway.

We decided to get out of town last minute for the Fourth of July. Originally we were expecting another family to join but they weren’t able to so it was just me, my wife, toddler and baby. The house is very nice! You can tell the bathrooms have recently been updated as the stickers on the glass are still attached and the glass was water spot free. We appreciated the extra toiletries provided as we forgot our conditioner back home, so thank you! The floors are vinyl or laminate which are appreciated with a baby and toddler.
The fishing pier was excellent! There’s a ruler, running water to clean your fish and a small house where you can leave your stuff instead of carrying everything back and forth. From a fishing perspective I was super happy with it just had some trouble with turning on the fishing lights but that may just be me.
The listing has some information missing I felt. For one, it states it can sleep 9 people however there is only seating provided for 8. 4 chairs at the table and 4 bar stools. There are two queen sized beds in the master, and a queen bed and some bunk beds in the other room. The bedding was comfortable however it doesn’t match. I get it, I wouldn’t put the best of the best for other strangers but I also expect a little more effort especially for what we paid per night to stay. Also the towels are mismatched and there were only two beach towels total! I was a bit surprised as every coast house or lake house we’ve ever stayed at has some provided. Some of the light switches were dirty, but we just grabbed Clorox wipes and wiped them down.
We also had an issue with the dryer. Surprised it didn’t register on the Richter scale with all the commotion it made. I don’t know if it just started making that noise or if the owners hadn’t used it. We notified the property manager and decided to just take care of the rest of the laundry back home.
The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need except kitchen mitts. There are some dish towels provided to use as oven mitts but that’s it. If you get in late on a holiday weekend or day go ahead and stop in a large town for groceries. The binder with info provided in the house showed Poco Loco shop however the times I went the lady seemed annoyed by my presence. I get it, Fourth of July you want to go home but rudeness and eye rolls aren’t necessary. Overall it’s a nice property and I would highly recommend it.

Port Mansfield Fathers Day 2018
The boys took their Dad for Father’s Day fishing fun. The house was beautiful and felt like home. It was very comfortable and the garage was deep enough to park the boat. I fished off of the pier. It was pretty windy during the day but early mornings made for some great fishing!!!
We really liked the high wooden fence around the property too. Our granddaughter loved the deer. She is two and spotted a pretty good sized stingray in the water this morning.
Oh and the little cabin at the end of the pier genius!
We will definitely book this property again.
