Situated in Topanga, this charming house for R 2,865 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Private, bright, spacious yet cozy one-bedroom bungalow in the heart of Topanga nestled under oak trees. Warm furnishings, sculptural lighting and a gas fireplace create a welcoming, magical feel inside. The canyon view is beautiful, and you can hike from the backyard into Topanga State Park. Located minutes from popular restaurants and boutiques in downtown Topanga. It is an inspiring nature retreat ideal for artists, writers and adventurers, with easy access to all that LA has to offer. Catch the sunset dipping over the mountains from the porch of this private bungalow. Or better yet take a five minute hike up the hill and watch the sun set over the entire canyon. **Please note at the moment the lower section of Topanga Canyon Blvd is blocked and there is no direct access from PCH driving north on Topanga Canyon Blvd to the house. There are 3 routes still available to reach our property: 1. From the 101 driving south onto Topanga Canyon Blvd 2. From PCH you can go north on Los Flores Canyon Blvd to where it meets up with Topanga Canyon Blvd 3. (Only from our house to PCH) Take Topanga Canyon Blvd south to Tuna Canyon Rd to PCH This unique home offers comfort, cleanliness and a real sense of home, complete with modern furnishings. We allow up to 3 guests since children are counted in the guest count, but keep in mind there's only one bed and bedroom and is not intended for more than 2 adults. Guest access: Please note there are three separate buildings on this property that share a parking area (each with 2 reserved spots each). Each has its own private outdoor area--we welcome you to hike up the hill at the back of the property to access the hiking trails, but please respect the privacy of each unit's private outdoor space (which is clearly separated). There is a shared washer dryer attached to the back side of the house. The State Park access is right out the door up the hill, offering ideal access into endless trails, stunning views and a good chance of spotting California wildlife. The property is right on Topanga Canyon Blvd, so it's easy to hop on the main drag, grab a coffee en route to the beach at Topanga Living Cafe, breakfast at Topanga Table, or enjoy a romantic dinner at the magical Inn of the Seventh Ray. Directly across the street is Topanga Creek Outpost, where you can rent bikes to go adventure. We are 10 minutes from the beach/PCH, 10 minutes from Woodland Hills/101 Fwy, 20 minutes from Santa Monica/Venice, 15 minutes to Malibu and 25 minutes from Studio City. A car is recommended for getting around in the Topanga area. Interaction with guests: There are 3 buildings on this property. The rental house is completely private and has its own private garden reserved parking, so you very much feel that the space is your own. We respect your space, however we are of course available to answer any questions or provide recommendations. Sara is our on-call host who will be available anytime for questions or anything you might need to ensure a 5 star stay.

Out stay was 4 day, 2 day we had a power outage. No way to cook, food in refrigerator spoiled it was. Only one small flashlight supplied by host. Very stressful stay!!

The Chime House provides a lovely sunny spot away from the crowds with a comfortable house, great wifi, soft towels, and use of laundry facilities. We would stay here again.

Great spot, super charming and relaxing. Only complaint is that the host offered to credit back for clogged shower drain which we found upon our arrival after a long day of travel, but failed to do so. Other than that, place was absolutely amazing.

The host was wonderful. Responsive and helpful. When the wifi signal was weak we let her know and right away she fixed the problem. We took a hike in the backyard and the views were incredible. I would definitely recommend staying here!

I sincerely enjoyed our stay here! It’s located in such a beautiful area where you are surrounded by beautiful trees and at night twinkling stars. We felt like we were staying some where in a forest but we were also so close to Malibu and all the beautiful beaches. I loved that there was hiking right in the backyard with breathtaking views. It was the best of both worlds. We came for a relaxing getaway for our wedding anniversary and it was beyond our expectations, and if you love design you will love how it’s decorated! I would highly recommend staying here especially if you need a small escape and recharge!
