About this house rental
Classy cottage style 2 bedroom, 1 bath single family home. Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and a wonderful Heat Pump provides for both warmth or air conditioning! Fun, comfortable furnishings to make you feel right at home. Living room features a sectional sofa, two cute chairs and an electric fireplace. Also, a 40' Smart "ROKU" TV, NETFLIX- all available for FREE and games for adults and kids. Fun, functional kitchen with full size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots/pans - dish service for 8, silverware for 8, wine glasses, water glasses - a fully stocked kitchen to cover most, if not all, of your needs. Two bedrooms, each with queen sized beds. The larger room has a wonderful custom iron bed with comfortable linens and great bedroom set with ample drawers and a small closet to store all your personal belongings. The lovely second bedroom with vaulted ceiling offers a queen size bed, with comfortable linens and a closet to store your personal belongs. The full size bathroom features a bath/shower combination, amazing water heater, towels, hand towels and a variety of wash clothes for you and your guests. Also included is a full size front loading washer and dryer, why go home with dirty clothes? The spacious yard is fully fenced, front and back, with small porch area with a patio set that has seats for 4. A darling fire-pit area with Adirondack Chairs for gatherings - for those wanting to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The house is steps away from Webster park, and just a few blocks away from Swains (which has everything), downtown Port Angeles, shops, grocery stores, and some restaurants. A short drive to numerous hiking/biking trails/Olympic Discovery Trail and Hurricane Ridge, just to name a few. Only a couple of blocks from the Black Ball Ferry, that takes you to the "Gateway to Canada" - Victoria, B.C. This is one of the best locations in town and may be the classiest cottage you'll find in the area! Cute, classy and comfy!

We really liked this house. It was warm and well lit and had comfortable spaces for lounging/dozing, working, reading, cooking and eating. The decor in so many rentals is all anodyne beige and cream and gray, and the color and personal touches here were pleasant and welcoming --- it was easy to be a human here. Very nice location close to businesses but on a quiet street dead-ending in a tall, dense tree stand. It was too cold for us to enjoy the backyard this visit but we'll probably come back.

A much needed getaway for us and this house was nothing but warm and inviting. Our dog Maxwell (who recently lost his brother and is undergoing chemo) absolutely relaxed and enjoyed the house. He even put himself to bed early which he never does. If we are up this way again, we will be staying here. Thank you so

Overall our experience was good. It was a cozy little house that was perfect for us and our pups. Had everything we needed and close to different activities.
The only thing we were concerned about is the location. The day we arrived we heard and saw a homeless man in the woods next to the house. I know that is out of the owners control but thought i would mention it.

The house was a perfect size for our family to comfortably stay while we spent most of our time exploring the ONP. We enjoyed doing some of our own cooking and family movie nights which made it feel like we were at home.

Our stay was perfect in this house and neighborhood. If we had needed help it was clearly stated where we would need to go. Beds super comfortable and location perfect for our trip to the Olympic National park.

This was such a nice place to stay while we explored Olympic National Park. The cottage is very well-equipped and had everything we could possibly need. It is bigger than I had imagined and we were totally comfortable. A great bed and bathroom and that wonderful sectional in the living room made us feel like we were at home. Diane was excellent to communicate with and has provided an outstanding place to stay for her guests. We only wish we could have stayed longer!!

Overall, a great experience. Everything listed was 1000% accurate! The host was incredibly responsive, and checked in to make sure we were doing well. I would, and hopefully will, rent this house again in the future!

Property was fantastic. It was well stocked with everything needed to cook and clean, etc. Property was clean and nice. The wi-fi is a bit slow. It's a great loction to the National Park. Would return in the furture.

This house is lovely, clean, and was a pleasure to stay in! You’re close to many good places downtown for food and shopping, and relatively close to many Olympic National park hikes and Lake Crescent, which is why we were there. The accommodation had everything we needed and more, and the backyard is gorgeous and private. The washing machine and dryer were a big plus. Thanks for all the local tips!

We really enjoyed our stay at Oh Happy Day! It was the perfect place to relax after exploring Olympic Park. The cottage was fully stocked, very clean, and welcoming. The yard was very nicely landscaped, and we hung out most of an afternoon just sitting outside reading and relaxing.

It was so close to ferry terminal from Victoria. Beds were comfortable. They had everything we needed to cook food. So many things to see and explore in this area. Would definitely book here again.

This was such a cute house with a safe back and front yard for dogs to play. They have a great setup for dogs in the house, too. We really appreciated having blankets dedicated to covering the couch for dogs so our pups could cuddle with us.
It was very clean everywhere we looked, and the kitchen was easy to use to prep meals despite being a little on the smaller side. It was pretty well-appointed with cookware, too.
The location was also great - it was a very quick trip to get groceries, pick up meals and explore the town. The surrounding neighborhood felt safe, too.

We absolutely loved our stay. We came to Port Angeles for business and this house was perfectly located where we could come home for lunch and relax a bit before going back at it. It was also great for the online weekly training we conduct, internet performed perfect. Everything we needed was provided. I think one of the thing we liked most regarding this house was the fenced yard. We had our best friend (fur baby) with us so the fenced yard was so nice to have for him. We are getting ready to book our next stay but will be using it for pleasure instead of business. Lots of positive things to say regarding our stay so I will end it with we highly recommend this home for any stays in Port Angeles.

This house was perfect for my friend and me. We were in PA for work and the Crab Festival. The house is very conveniently located to downtown, restaurants and shops. It was clean, organized and well stocked. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Our hostess, Diane, was amazing. She bent over backwards to take care of us. Check in instructions were easy to follow. The home supplied everything we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable and the yard, both front and back, was fenced in, perfect for a dog. If we’re ever lucky enough to go back to Port Angeles this is definitely where we would stay again. Thank you Diane for everything.
