We stayed at Villa Chico for a Chico State Alumni reunion. We were a party of 11 and Villa Chico was perfect! It was like having our own private hotel with the individual bedrooms and bathrooms but with plenty of space for reminiscing, cooking and eating together. We loved the story of the property and all the amenities. Gabby was great to work with. Would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles were all able to enjoy this wonderful house for three nights while we celebrated my daughter’s college graduation. Gabby has quite a gem with this house and location. The booking, check-in and check-out process could not have been easier. If you have the opportunity to book this house, do it! A group of 10 Chico State alumni came up to celebrate Alpha Chi’s 100th Anniversary. This property was perfect. It was spacious, clean, close to downtown and very comfortable. With 5 bedrooms and 5+ bathrooms we had more than enough space. Thank you Gabby for everything you did to make our stay enjoyable!

We came up to throw a surprise 80th Birthday for my grandpa who lives in the area. His kids, grandkids and great-grandkids were all able to come up. We fell in love with the Villa! It is a great house for a multi-family vacation. Never once did we feel crammed. Each room had its own bathroom. The Master bedroom was HUGE!! We enjoyed the pool and spa - towels were provided. We also enjoyed the BBQ and put it to work with 4 tri-tips and a bunch of hot links. Another hit was the ping pong table! There is plenty of parking. It is centrally located to gas, grocery and restaurants. My only complaints were a)the fridge/freezer never got real cold - however, we had filled it to its capacity, b)it was HOT - we were there in the middle of summer, no central AC but each room had its own AC unit, the downstairs could use another unit and lastly, c)the upstairs hallway smelled a bit - could have been because the house had been closed up and the heat didn't help much, I would recommend bringing a diffuser with some essential oils or whatever type of air freshener you prefer. Overall, the cons didn't even come close to outweighing the pros! Our family had the time of our life and we built memories to last a lifetime!

Gabby took great care of us! Check in and check out was a breeze. The property is HUGE and it was perfect for my friends and family for a weekend celebration. The location is centrally located in Chico to many awesome restaurants. Definitely highly recommended if you're looking for a place in Chico.
