Enjoy the manicured lawn and unparalleled views of glorious Kauai sunsets, crashing waves, and frolicking dolphins and whales (in season) while dining on the lanai. Unit 103A is just steps away from Poipu Shores’ breathtakingly beautiful swimming pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. An easy 10 minute walk away are some of Kauai’s famous south shore swimming areas, Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach State Park. Shipwreck Beach and Salt Pond State Beach Park are only a 10-20 minute drive away, as are numerous world class restaurants, shops, and attractions. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight. It features a new refrigerator with filtered water and icemaker, a new dishwasher, new microwave oven, and filtered drinking water at the sink. An open kitchen design allows you to watch the ocean while preparing meals that you can eat in the gracious dining area or dine “al fresco” on the teak outdoor dining set on the oceanfront lanai while watching the sunset. The outdoor BBQ grills are just steps outside the unit. The master bedroom features a new split king-sized bed with individual controls to elevate the head and feet, as well as adjustable relaxing massage settings. Air conditioning, high quality linens and the most comfortable mattress combine for many restful, tropical slumbers. The huge window provides a panoramic view of the ocean, swaying palm trees and sunny Poipu skies. Custom cabinetry in the bedroom, dressing area and bathroom allows plenty of storage space and a TV. The air-conditioned second bedroom features a California king-sized bed with high quality linens. The windows open up to a tropical garden setting. The adjacent bathroom has a full tub and shower. Poipu Shores 103A is a wonderful condo if you are looking for spectacular sunsets, easy access to beaches and comfortable accommodations. We have been visiting Kauai for over 20 years. Poipu Shores is our favorite condo complex and 103A is a very comfortable unit on the ground level.

Wonderful patio – we spent the majority of the time staring at the ocean from here. Well stocked kitchen. Communication and helpfulness of the host was wonderful. We really had a fabulous time. Mahalo mahalo mahalo

We were beyond excited when we realized the ocean view was every bit as beautiful as the pictures in the listing! The sound of the waves crashing were incredible. The rooms were comfortable & we felt very at home. We certainly appreciated the beach gear & towels, as well as the washer/dryer. We’d love to return to this property!

The place was well stocked with what we needed. Loved the ground floor with access to mostly private lanai and grass. Beautiful views + No roosters crowing at all hours. Nice quiet neighborhood

Had a great visit! Property was as described, fantastic views and great location! Lots of conveniences in the room as well as helpful tips about restaurants to do and things nearby. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again on a future visit!

My wife and I loved this place. The apartment was clean, had an epic view from the Lanai (we saw spinner dolphins jumping and even multiple humpback whales breaching directly from the seats!). The AC helped and the dehumidifier made a huge difference with the humid environment, definitely a plus. We very much enjoyed the full kitchen and the views the most. Location was amazing too, with the side gate walk to Poipu Beach making it very accessible for turtle viewing and snorkling!! Definitely enjoyed Kalapaki Joe's happy hour, walking from here! Thanks!

The location is superb! The property was nice and the AC worked great! We loved our stay there. The only thing that wasn’t clear in the description was that the third bed was a blow up mattress. It ended up working out for us since it was still comfortable as we did have to use it for bed space. Since it wasn’t a deal breaker, we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property.

Very convenient location near the beach. We walked outside everyday to watch the turtles near the show. Easily visible from the shared backyard. Near the pool. Used washer/dryer everyday. No one was there at the office over the holiday weekend but they dropped off a parking permit the next day after we left a message on the machine.

The location is absolutely beautiful. The views from our lanai were breathtaking. Every days we saw dolphins, a sea, lion, mini sea turtles. The sunsets were divine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was clean and comfortable and well appointed. The bedrooms were a reasonable size and the bathrooms were too. This condo is on the lower level so our unit opened up right onto a grassy lawn and the ocean was just beyond! The waves here are amazing and the sound is then crashing onto the lava rocks is just magnificent! The location is very convenient to town and we felt very safe. The parking spaces are small - no surprise in Hawaii - but they get the job done unless other rude condo guests park across a line, which happened a couple times. Ugh. The resort does have an elevator which is handy for getting your luggage where it needs to go and it has a very nice pool. There was some confusion about us getting a parking pass for our car - the resort needs to update their email and printed information for getting a pass when checking in after hours. But that was a minor thing that was corrected. We loved it here!

Poipu Shores 103A offers EVERYTHING one needs for a visit to beautiful Kauai! No need to pack anything but clothes, bathing suits, and essentials like meds. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc were all provided, as well as assorted sunscreens left behind by previous guests. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and even a cooler provided for day trips. (Pack light! We brought way too many clothes and unnecessary toiletry items!!) The Tempupedic adjustable bed was wonderful at the end of our daily exploration adventures! We also loved the waves crashing on the rocks right outside our unit and were able to take in both sunrises and sunsets from the thick plush lawn outside our door. A beautiful beach is a short walk from this unit, which is also a plus. What a beautiful place to celebrate our 51st anniversary!!!

This 2 bed, 2 bath condo is right on the water and perfect for a family or two couples. The condo was very clean and supplied with all amenities you would need. The location is also perfect and close to everything in the area. This condo was ideal right on the water with the most beautiful view!

Great location and well maintained property. Only issue was pillow case was slightly stained and staff replaced in a timely manner. When replacing pillow cases found pillows to have multiple stains on both sides and appeared to be very worn. Pillows were located in second bedroom.

This property had everything we needed and more. It had a breathtaking view and we were able to watch whales and sea turtles in the water from the lanai. It was also walking distance to Brennecke’s beach, which was very convenient. The only downside, which is of no fault of the unit, is that the parking spaces at the complex were very small, so it makes parking with a larger rental car (we had a van) tricky.

The actual condo was just fine, nothing special about it (although the air conditioning worked really well) but it is a 5 star location for the property and the location. The views from the condo and pool are worth the price. We saw turtles every day from the pool and whales almost every day from our porch. Big waves crashing against the rocks all day as well. The condo was just a short 5 minute walk to 2 different beaches and there are safe and easily accessible running locations which has not been my experience on other Islands. Would definitely come back.

Unit was in a perfect location close to restaurants, beaches and walking. Great location to see turtles, seals, dolphins, and whales. Unit needed a couple minor items addressed. The kitchen faucet was leaking and the screen slider needs some TLC. Grills in the property need some TLC. We will be back to this unit, love the beautiful location and quiet atmosphere.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. We were able to see whales and sea turtles right from the property! The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks lured us to sleep each night. We will definately stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The views of the ocean from inside, the outdoor area with table and the pool were wonderful. This condo is close to the beaches and restaurants. The check in process was pretty smooth, but we had a situation with the parking pass since we checked in on a Saturday after the office closed. We had a notice on our car the next day and had to kind of worry about our vehicle not being towed since we couldn’t get a parking pass until Monday. Then on Monday the office manager told us that they didn’t receive our reservation information from them and to let them know that they needed it. It’s just something you don’t want to have to deal with while on vacation. If the parking pass was just included in the welcome envelope or maybe left inside for use while there or would have made things easier. We were also confused by the check in directions stating to get a key from a “lock box” when I couldn’t find one and yes I looked for one by the office. After we got the parking pass everything was smooth sailing. Definitely recommend this property.

Apartment 103A at Poipu Shores was an absolute delight to stay at during our time in Kaua'i. The views from the lanai were dreamworthy; the apartment clean and tidy; both the kitchen store cupboard and beach supplies were very well stocked which was hugely appreciated and the air conditioning was a godsend and certainly helped us to sleep well. Po'ipu Beach is only a few minutes walk away and is absolutely worth a visit at dusk to watch the turtles come up to the beach for the night. A beautiful place to stay.
