Our beautiful Estate is currently for sale. All reservations made and accepted will be honored to the best of our ability Please enquire about the specific conditions that we offer including the most lenient terms available on VRBO. All stays here will be EXCLUSIVE - there will be no other guests. Our smaller 1 bed/1 bath Cottage will be available to parties larger than 5 persons (up to a total of 8). Our minimum stay is now 7-14 depending on the season - with 2 nights in between guests to allow us to properly clean, sanitize and let the unit air out. Because of this we offer the following Discount on the nightly rate of: A 20% Discount on stays of 28 nights or longer. Our pricing reflects this exclusive access to a truly wonderful estate and the amenities outlined below. Please note that from 2023 our rate of $500/night will be based on an occupancy of 4 persons. The Vista Suite is located on the South side of the villa and has its own separate entrance (that is the entire left side of the main house as shown in the opening image). We live on the right side of the house. Because we live on property as a hosted rental - If any problems arise we are here 24/7 to help, make recommendations, give directions etc, but we keep a low profile and do not use any amenities when guests are in residence. The privacy of our guests is our primary concern. All rooms in the Vista Suite overlook the Pacific Ocean through the lanai, deck and infinity pool. The master bedroom has a King size bed – when you awake you can see 30 miles of the Kona coastline and ocean from your bed - often along with 55 mile visibility to the horizon. It has an attached private master bath with a large soaking tub as well as a walk-in shower. The second bedroom features two twin-sized beds that can be made into a King-sized bed upon your request. It has its own bath down the hall. That bathroom also is where the laundry room it located that features (2)modern full size washer/dryers. The enormous gourmet Kitchen/Living Room/Dining Room has every amenity a chef could want. It also has a couch with a queen size pull out sleeper bed. This pull out has been upgraded to accept a full 8” mattress instead of the customary 4” mattress. The bed is comfortable even for a full size adult. The Vista Suite is about 1,800 sq ft and the deck and pool easily adds another 1,000. The Cottage sleeps 3 persons in 600 sq ft and may be added on to parties larger than 5. It is a true one bedroom and not a studio. It has two twin-sized beds that can be made into a King-sized bed upon your request. It also has a queen-size pull-out sleeper bed as outlined above. There is also a modern washer/dryer in the Kitchen area. If your party has more than 5 persons - some of your party will stay in the semi-attached cottage. There is an additional cleaning fee of $150 for the cottage (plus taxes) that cannot be added into this portal's automatic system. The pool and hot tub are exclusively available 24/7. We have added a heat pump to augment the solar heating array that heats the pool. We can usually offer a swimming environment near 80 degrees. Endless Pools installed a Fastlane device in our pool and it is now available for guests to use. The hot tub is in a private location that offers the same stunning views as the rest of the estate. The gym is now reopened to vaccinated guests. It features commercial grade Life Fitness cardio machines in a spacious 600 sq ft gym overlooking the incredible view. Contact us in advance if you require the use of the gym. Some restrictions apply. We have an Optimum Business Internet connection here that delivers up to 600 mbps to the whole estate. The dedicated endpoint in the living room delivers 150-300 mpbs and offers an extremely reliable Wi-Fi as well as a wired connection. The Wi-Fi extends easily to all rooms as well as the deck and pool area. Our system is monitored offsite. We upgraded our system to a commercial standard to accommodate those who wish to reliably stay in touch or pursue business work while vacationing here. Kona View Coffee Estate is a 3 Acre Luxury Vacation Rental Property comfortably nestled on the slopes of Hualalai overlooking Kailua-Kona. We are a working, award winning coffee farm (4th in 2018!) and we look forward to sharing our passion for coffee farming, processing and roasting. For those interested - we offer a unique learning experience - Agricultural Tourism in luxury and privacy. The entire estate has been completely remodeled and updated with top-of-the-line appliances. We have a roastery above the coffee fields to house our state-of-the-art coffee roaster. We look forward to sharing this experience with you - balanced between art and science. We are located comfortably "up country" in the midst of the famous Kona Coffee belt. It is usually 5-8 degrees cooler up here with the gentle breeze that comes off the mountain day or night providing an ideal temperature.
