We spent a week in September on Pearl Street. 10 Pearl gives new meaning to the term Home-Away. The house provided ALL the comforts of being at HOME - well stocked kitchen, comfortable living and sleeping areas, pleasant outdoor space and the bathroom of our dreams! And the owners, Pam and Jim, could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. Yet, you also had the perfect location for being AWAY - walking distance to Camden, centrally located for numerous day trips and, most important, fresh seafood everywhere!!! Hope to return again soon....

Our family of four has been visiting Camden for 10+ years and had a wonderful week here 2023.
Property was very clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked, front and back porches, and nice walkable location. I admit that we also appreciate the cable, good wi-fi, and AC.
Hosts were responsive, thoughtful, and communication was excellent.
Thanks for a great week!

This area of Maine was our choice to spend 3 weeks taking in the scene as it is central to so much that brings us to Maine in the first place. The people are generally so nice to deal with it helps set the stage for the visit.
The property is adequate for comfort and includes the most incredible kitchen…equipped to the nines.
The roadway is known as Pearl Street, and for the moment is less than a Pearl as the town is installing all new utilities and upset the normal use of the street. So, you must accept the inconvenience for the long term betterment of the community. We had lots of wet which adds another dimension no one can control, so you pint.
We love the informality and 180 degree difference in living, based upon our way of life at home. Our hosts took over upon our weekend arrival with an ill wife aboard and went beyond the call of duty to lend a hand. They were wonderful in every way. Too much so to adequately describe.
Please, don’t anyone else make a reservation for next year until we have secured ours.

Walking distance to the town of Camden--Maine's prettiest town. Saves the hassle if parking on a busy summer day. House is well furnished- kitchen is great and has every possible pot/pan/gadget. Garden is lovely.

My husband and I visit Camden a few times, but this is the first trip where we decided to bring our daughter and dog along. This home couldn't have been more perfect. The house was great for a small family and so close to town. We had the most relaxing, enjoyable stay and hope to visit again soon.

This property is named Pearl Gem, and it truly lived up to its name. It is upgraded, clean, superbly equipped and conveniently located for walking into town. The owners are wonderful people who are more than accommodating! We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Pearl Gem duplex. The location could not be easier for walking to all of Camden's restaurants, shops and the lovely harbor. The house was very clean and well decorated. Pam and James were easy to work with and checked in with us on arrival to be sure we knew where things were and how to operate remotes, etc. Bedrooms were both upstairs with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was outfitted with everything needed to make meals at home - though we admit we mostly ate out at the many area cafes/restaurants. Area information was provided and Pam's homemade maine blueberry jam was SO good - wish we could have taken it with us. We will remember this location as one of the best VRBO's to date!

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Pearl Gem during our 3-week holiday on the Mid-Coast of Maine. The house comes replete with a whole assortment of creature comforts. For instance, the kitchen and main bathroom were recently renovated with all sorts of high-end appliances and furnishings. The location of the house could not have been better. The house is located within 5-minute walking distance of downtown Camden with its beautiful harbor and upscale restaurants. Also, the house is within easy driving distance of lots of fun things to do. A 15-minute drives brings one to Camden Hills State Park with its many hiking trails and Mount Battie.
My husband and I also used the opportunity of being on the Mid-Coast to do a number of day trips - - the town of Belfast, a ferry ride to the island of Vinalhaven. We even ventured up as far as Acadia. Again, Camden is very centrally located and a great jumping off point for many exploits.
My husband and I really can't say enough about Pam and James. They were as helpful as possible and helped us out in a host of ways. Just by way of example, James took the time to meet us at the house when we came up and took his time to explain to us many important details concerning the house. He shared with us his views on area restaurants. I don't recall our needing to take him up on this offer but James indicated we could 'phone him if we ran into any issues with the house and the like.
Again, we could not have been more pleased. If we were ever to be so lucky as to stay in Camden for a holiday in the future, we certainly would check with Pam and James to check on Pearl Gem's availability. Same goes for recommendations to our family and friends.

My husband and I have rented Pam and Jim’s beautiful home for the last two years. We rented for the Month of July and absolutely loved it. Pam and Jim are so wonderful and cannot do enough for you if needed. You cannot miss by renting this home. Thank you Pam and Jim and beautiful Camden we had a ball😊

The home could not have been more perfect. It's beautifully furnished and comfortable and was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is to die for (I wish my kitchen back home was as nice!) and the shower upstairs too. The owners were absolutely lovely and reached out to us to make sure we had everything we needed. We spent every morning and evening on the porch drinking our coffee and wine and enjoying the escape from our busy lives.
