Three full cottages on one large complex with yards, patios, decks. Great place for young children. ( Not appropriate for 20-30 year old parties). While your family may have a reunion here, property and pool are for registered guests only. This fabulous N. Shore Drive house with great views and a park across the street to walk across the grass to the beach with no stairs. Enjoy 300' sandy beach and wonderful living space. This is one of the quieter hidden gem beaches in the South Haven area. We refund pool fee when pool is closed. Fully remodeled. Heated In-ground Pool with Auto-cover, pool house with kitchen, bathroom, sundeck on top, shower, patio with water feature and fire pit. Amazing property for a family get together. Everything one could want or need for a beach vacation. Location was wonderful to watch sunsets nightly and enjoy the area. Even the details were perfect such as linens, bath supplies. The host was so responsive and helpful. We are now trying to figure out when to return:)

This house worked perfectly for our family vacation. We had 4 families ages from 2-70 and everyone had an amazing time. With the main house and 2 guest cottages there was privacy and room to spread out. The whole yard being fenced in was great with the kids and the fact that the pool was fenced inside that fence was perfect. The pool was warm and a great depth. We loved walking into town for ice cream, to look at the boats, get ice cream and do a little shopping. One of the best parts was being able to walk across the street to such a beautifully sandy (not too busy) beach and watch a beautiful sunset every night! Communication was great leading up to the trip and while we were there. We would all love to stay here again!

Fantastic! A family celebration of our parents' 60th Anniversary: This location, in a beautiful setting, was perfect for my parents, their four children and their children - seventeen of us. Gorgeous sunsets seen from the front window, deck or brief walk to the shore. The accomodations were wonderful - King bed suites for seven couples or singles, and a bunk room for the youngest kids. Modern remodeled kitchen with all the accessories that one could need. The complex of small cottages provided mutliple spaces for the adults, teens and kids to be entertained either in the pool, the rooftop patio, or game rooms. Space for all and spaces to be alone. The main floor bedroom and minimal porch steps were ideal for my dad, who walked to the shoreline each day.

When we booked this property it checked all the boxes. But when we arrived...WOW!!! Marta has taken the time to make sure her guests want for nothing. I can't express just how much we enjoyed this home. Exceptionally clean, super spacious and very comfortable! Marta had everything we could possibly need from bikes to beach towels and everything in between for our group ranging from 6 mos to 89 years! Wonderful stay - we WILL be back! Thanks again Marta!!

This property was very nice and functional for our stay. Easy to the beach and great pool time (especially with the pool house). Very clean and comfortable. Also, many things there for kids to use at the beach and bikes, etc. for adults too. We enjoyed it.

We had a large, four generation, family reunion from around the country. There were 13 adults and 5 children under the age of 8. The children were all thrilled with the toys and space to run around, including the swimming pool, game room by the pool, the area around the compound, and the beach. It could not have been a better setting for the young ones. The adults were equally thrilled with the location and the property! We had three separate buildings so we could plan who would stay in the main house and who needed senate living space. Marta was extremely responsive and helpful. She even brought extra toys for the children when she saw how many there were! All-in-all and excellent time with a great host! Thank you Marta!

Wonderful home with all the amenities you could need
We had a fantastic experience renting this property! We rented the home over the thanksgiving holiday, as we did not feel comfortable doing our usual traditions due to the pandemic. Marta was super attentive and provided us with all the information we needed before, during and even after our stay.
Everyone had nothing but nice things to say about the home and property. So many thoughtful touches in the house, I especially appreciated the complimentary makeup remover wipes in the bathroom as I had forgotten to bring my own.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a larger space while still wanting the option to have privacy as well.

Just what we were looking for
This place was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect location with easy beach access right across the street. Spacious property with enough space to have everyone congregate and also spread out when needed. The pool and pool area with fire pit and rooftop got lots of use, as did the big front porch area. Marta was very responsive throughout with all questions we had. Would definitely come back!

What sets this rental apart from any other is that it is like renting a home from your super cool aunt who is off jet-setting the world, but will let you borrow her fabulous lake house whenever you want because you are family. This is NOT one of those gross ikea furnished cash cows that is meant to be factory rented and is purely transactional. There is SO much love and detail in this home. It is beautifully furnished and each room tells a story. But it is really the fact that it feels like a HOME that makes it special. It checked every single box for us and we will now meet back here as a family every year, because we have at last found perfection.

Her responsiveness and attention to detail was far and above what we’ve experienced with other rentals, from the quality of the paper products, bath towels, beach towels, soaps, kitchen China, etc. So many charming whimsical touches, from wall decor to welcome basket, indoor and outdoor furnishings, even a bear sink carved from a tree with foot pedal in the pool house. Beautiful pool, several decks with gas grills and fire pits, beach toys, bikes, everything a large family like ours (ages 1yr to 70yrs) could ever use. Lake Michigan across the street, a charming town 3 blocks away…. But we rarely felt the need to leave her property. We can’t wait to return next year !

Absolutely Wonderful Stay!

Marta home is absolutely AMAZING! We have a large family and this house was perfect, tons of room and the front deck was incredible our family loved sitting out playing games and relaxing on it! Marta has everything at the house, bikes for kids and adults for riding around town, chairs for the beach and sunsets, inflatable water toys and so much more!! Marta made renting her home so easy and pleasant, and she was always available if you needed assistance! If you have a large family and you want to be close to town and the beach this is the beautiful house you should rent, you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you again Marta my family LOVED making memories in your beautiful home and we look forward to coming back next year!

Everything a Family and Friends would Want!
We had a fabulous time here. It was a perfect setting for our weekend. The location is perfect - the park across the street gave us a place to play - the beach is just a short walk - the views of the sunset are great and having a separate cottage for our kids with a 2 year old and an infant was perfect.
Having multiple decks and plenty of living and kitchen space allowed for people to group in different locations for games and conversation. Having 3 grills and 3 kitchens was great for dinner prep. I got compliments from everyone for finding this place - “this was perfect.” That is thanks to Marta for providing such a wonderful and homey place. They have provided everything!
The 7 king size beds and multiple bathrooms was a huge hit - everyone was comfortable and pleasantly surprised by that.
This place is a rare gem and we have already discussed coming back.
Great Ice Cream a block away and the downtown area a nice walk or bike ride away (bikes provided!) gives something for everyone! The Meijer store is only minutes away!

Great location. Very furnished house for multi-generational vacation!
We vacationed here to celebrate my husband's parents' 50th wedding anniversary with his siblings and their families as well. This house was so clean and the location is the best! Marta was so quick to respond if we couldn't find something or had a question. The cottages in back were great for the older teenage grandkids. And the main house fit our needs perfectly for the rest of us. There are bathrooms for all! And unlike other houses we've rented, Marta had this stocked with plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc. I've always had to buy more than was provided to get us through our week but that was not the case here! Plenty of bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. Our whole group of 18 had a great time and had room to spread out in the house (grandkids ages 6-20 enjoyed it as well as the adult siblings and grandparents - great for all ages) and on the decks. It was so nice for there to be room for all of us to eat together!! The short walk to the beach is ideal and the house comes with 2 places to wash the sand off and even a place to air dry your beach towels. It was really ideal for our family and I would definitely recommend this property!!

Perfect Family Beach Vacation Home
2nd year staying here --- the grandkids asked if next year we could stay for an extra week. Each family has their own bedroom and bath. Directly across the street from a city park. Can see the sunsets from the front deck, and in just a few steps you are on the beach.
A real plus is the on-site parking for all the families cars-- no more circling the block trying to find parking. The adult kids have a short walk into town for their night out without kids, and the cars can stay parked.
Have reserved for next year--- no reason to look for another property. Marta even has a gift basket of wine and cheese welcoming you to her beautiful South Haven beach home.

Wonderful location and property
From the minute we walked into the home, we knew we had made the right choice. Welcome cheese and wine was topped by coffee and chocolates. Nice touch. The sweetest act concerned a city water-main break that disrupted water service temporarily. It was not Marta's responsibility, but she still made sure the fridges were stocked with ice and water, as well as larger water jugs for cooking. The water was restored and everything was fine - but the gesture remains as a telling sign of the care the owner has toward ensuring your stay is special. Thanks for a wonderful reunion for the family! We'll be back, for sure!

This is the 2nd year in a row we have rented this lovely home + cottage for our family reunion. It is perfect! We love being so close to the beach, and we appreciate Marta's attention to details. Just like home!!
Marta's house is a dream come true for vacationing families. We had 10 adults and eight grandchildren and had plenty of room for all. Everything's included, chairs, beach toys, towels and the house is lovely inside and decks and space outside for all your needs. Lots of bathrooms, close to the beach when the little ones needed a break, & the weather was fantastic ! We enjoyed the fireworks, night sunsets, the bikes and being able to walk to town!
The kitchen is fabulous and we had a great time cooking up local meats from Bobs Meat Market. Thanks, Marta it was a vacation to remember!!

Perfect Location ~ Perfect Accomodations!!!
This is the third time I've stayed at Marta's properties. They have all that you can possibly need ~ from bikes and beach towels to any spice or condiment!! Awesome is how I describe it. The 5 bedroom house with the other two cottages was perfect for our family reunion. Right across from a park and the beach! Many bikes to choose from to ride the trails... Great gourmet kitchen with tons of seating space. The only problem is that we all wanted to stay longer. Marta is the ultimate hostess leaving lovely bottles of wine, snacks and treats!! Thank you, thank you...

Amazing, totally filled the bill. The owner was so pleasant and easy to work with. A real treat.
We came as a family of 15 and the facility totally met our needs. Lots of area to spread out so everyone had their own space. The front deck itself allowed all of us to even eat together. The fact that so much was within walking distance was another plus. It doesn't sound important but even private parking was so helpful.
I need to comment on the cleanliness of the whole facility, it was amazing. Not many places I go into that I don't feel like I need to clean first. The fact that it was to totally furnished was so helpful, all the basics were provided, even down to kitchen condiments and beach towels.
We were able to take advantage of some of the locals, Express Yourself/Art Barn in/near Douglas/Saugatuck, Farmers Market, I regret that we didn't find time to take in the old downtown theater, I understand that should have been a must. So many options we needed another week to fit everything in.

Marta thought of everything!
Marta's capacity to anticipate all the things you will need/want for a week at Lake Michigan is outstanding! There were more than enough beach towels, beach wagons, plenty of chairs, bikes to ride, port-a-cribs for the little ones and welcoming local beer and wine for the adults! :) We loved the big, open deck out front, the fenced yard and the lovely view toward the lake. The upstairs bedrooms and baths are especially nice. The kitchen had plenty of seating for all of us. It is an easy walk to the downtown shopping area, which is an added bonus. We highly recommend this home--in doing so, our only concern is that it could get booked before we get a chance to book it for ourselves the next time we are ready to vacation together! Enjoy!
