My dog loved Cambria. We had to put him down in October so it seemed fitting to go back to the place he loved, doing what he loved. The house was perfect. Nice beds, good cookware, and the furniture was comfortable. This is our second stay here. Being literally across the street from the Fiscallini Ranch was great for getting out and meeting all the welcoming Cambrians. Loved seeing a deer cross the street in the early afternoon and watching the Turkey Vultures soar above us as we sat outside. Nice to know there is a house that fits our needs that’s in a quiet area with beautiful views.

This sweet little beach house was exactly what our family of 4 needed! It's right near the beach as well as a nature preserve, which is wonderful for exercise and exploration. Wish we could stay longer!

We had a most comfortable stay over Christmas. The kitchen had everything we needed to make an excellent dinner - including a pie! Beds were warm and comfortable, living room was spacious and cozy.
We used the loft area to play games and enjoyed the afternoon sun on the west facing deck.
We are already talking about returning next year.

House was clean and the views of the ocean were seen From all the windows. There was an ant problem and needed to be tended to everyday. The main concern we had an was one of the reasons we left early were the numerous signs reminded us to keep the dog off all furniture and the bed. After a week there, my friend’s dog and my friend were most uncomfortable. I don’t know why they advertised as dog friendly and charge a 95.00 pet fee.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wedgewood Beach House. The location is great - just a few steps from the Fiscalini Ranch Bluff Trail. We walked our dog on the trail every morning (or our dog walked us - she loves the ranch.) The house has everything you need: comfy bed, nice TV, kitchen is well-supplied. There was a problem with the fireplace (which is the heating system for the house) but it was fixed promptly by the property managers. We noticed some ants in the kitchen but they are not too bothersome. We appreciate that the property is dog-friendly.

This property holds a tender place in my heart. The excellent location, close to the water and the ranch, makes for a peaceful and beautiful experience. I especially appreciate the flat driveway, scenic views and comfortable interior. With two decks upstairs, there was always somewhere comfortable to read or rest. I loved having a morning fire in the fireplace with coffee and a good book. Though it isn't elegant, this home is one of my favorites for sure!

The house was very clean. It really didn’t work for me. The decks & master bedroom are upstairs, and main living area on lower level. I never even used the upstairs. It is also very busy with cars coming, and going because it is right by the entrance to the Ranch. I do know someone who has stayed here often, and likes it.

I've rented multiple times from Breen, and have always been very happy with the properties. This property ranks as my FAVORITE rental of them all. Although this isn't the most updated and "elegant" interior of the houses I've rented (bathrooms are esp. dated), the location is incredible. It sits right at the entrance to Fiscalini Reserve, which means walks and hiking are right outside the door. You can hear the ocean always...go to sleep with it and wake up with it. You can see the rocks and watch the waves break from first and second floors. This is the best few in Cambria...looking out over the Fiscalini Reserve for the perfect sunset view. Although the parking lot for the reserve is right across the street, it never feels busy and always feels private. The fog and mist wrap around the house at night...and the whole experience is magical. Beds are comfortable. Couches are comfortable. TV is excellent. Stove is excellent. Slight problem with tiny ants in the kitchen counter, but that is an easy fix. My only wish is that the smaller front balcony had bar height stools so you could easily see over the railing when watching the sunset from there. But standing there with a drink is just fine, listening to the waves until the dusk fades into darkness. Perfection. .

We loved our stay! The house was conveniently located near the trail entrance and the beach. We enjoyed early morning walls and the deer and fawns we encountered every morning and evening. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we appreciated that we could bring our dog with us.

Perfect central coast escape.
Our family had a great spring getaway at this perfectly located property. Mere steps from the ocean and the bluff trail at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, you can’t ask for a better spot to start and end your day in Cambria. The home is comfortable and clean, with a well appointed kitchen and plenty of space to spread out and relax. We highly recommend it for a slice of central coast magic.

Good location. The fireplace is the heater, I didn't know this but I have to say,it heats the house really well! I couldn't get the tv or Netflix to work but that could have been me. House was clean but dusty in some areas. Had everything we needed but could use a couple new pans in the kitchen.

Although it rained most of our 6 night stay we enjoyed the proximity to the wildlife preserve and costal tide pools for a quick visit between showers. Cozy home with a fireplace/heater, views of the coast and well stocked kitchen. Pet friendly really means "Dog" friendly...and it seemed like the parade, past the picture windows of dogs and their owners in ugly Christmas sweaters would never stop once the sun broke out. Make sure to save time for breakfast at Linn's.

This is the first time our family was able to stay in a place so close to a natural preserve. Taking walks along the bluff trail during the day and hearing the ocean waves at night was a new experience for us. Wifi was non existent but it gave us all a chance to unplug. We watched an old moving on DVD one night and it was just fine.
I would highly recommend this house and I would love to stay there again.

Hidden gem along the coast
I almost don't want to be truthful as to how wonderful this home is just to keep it to myself. The property is at an excellent location to visit Fiscalini Ranch & oceanfront acess. The home was perfect for my son, husband, and myself. It's fully stocked kitchen made our stay very comfortable. The home was cozy enough yet spaced well. The neighborhood is very quiet & that's exactly what brought us there.

The house had some burned out bulbs with no replacements located. there are no covers to the cook pans. Ceiling fans were dirty and there were some cobwebs. hanging around. Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean.

This was our third stay at this Wedgewood residence! Why? Its perfectly situated at 300ft to the entrance to Fiscalini ranch preserve, a 435 or so acre wide open park, with unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and boardwalk trails for exploring. During the day you can sit on one of two balconies and view otters and seals and sometimes whales making their migration run in the Pacific Ocean, at night you can open a window and fall asleep to it. You don't need anything else. The property is accurately described regarding location and amenities, its well maintained and clean. We will rent again this Sept
