This updated, cozy Dennis Port vacation cottage is located in a seaside neighborhood, close to the Dennis Beaches on Nantucket Sound and charming local restaurants and shops. Sleeps 4 comfortably. The home has an open living area with a fully equipped, modern kitchen, comfortable living room with a large flat screen TV, and dining table. Nautical décor and new furnishings make this a great space to relax. There are two bedrooms off the main living area, one with a full-sized bed, and the second with 2 twin sized beds. The private back yard patio offers comfortable outdoor furniture and a gas grill for evening barbecues! The enclosed outdoor shower is great for rinsing off after a long day at Glendon Street or Sea Street Beaches on Nantucket Sound, which are just .7 mile away. 3 night minimums available with an added cleaning fee. Save the cleaning fee by booking 7 or more consecutive nights. *Sorry, no pets. Non-refundable $250.00 fee (includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance) plus applicable state and local taxes. Linen package is available upon request at an additional cost.

It was great! House was perfect !

Overall we all loved our stay at 39 Holiday Lane. The house is adorable with a spacious and beautiful back yard. We have just a couple suggestions...there is a need for more lighting, especially in the living room and near the washer and dryer (which we loved). We did notice teeny tiny ants around the kitchen sink, but also saw ant traps so they have been addressed. We loved the outdoor shower after going to the beach, but we did notice that water drips outside when the indoor shower is in use. We absolutely loved the outdoor patio, and having perfect weather, we ate out there most of the time. The living room furniture is lovely and definitely fits the style and decor , but a more comfortable sectional would be perfect in that room. It was very sad leaving this sweet Cape Cottage this morning. Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit of your little piece of paradise. Sincerely, Jane, Tina and Deb.

Apprécions l'état de la cuisine rénovée avec cuisinière au gaz mais une mise en garde pour la sécurité d'incendie. les contrôles sur la cuisinière au niveau des enfants et facilement tournées par une maladresse ou action près de la cuisinière ce qui fait émettre du gaz qui peut faire une catastrophe. Pas d'extincteur visible non plus. Éclairage médiocre dans le salon, les chambres car pas de plafonnier mais uniquement une petite lampe de table dans chacune de ces pièces. Pas de lumière au-dessus de la table à manger. Sombre au-dessus de la laveuse sécheuse. Débarras dans certaines armoires, laissant moins d'espace pour nos objets. Et ramassage des ordures le samedi matin à 7h am et règlements de ne pas laisser les ordures après notre départ nous oblige à quitter le samedi avant 7 h ou de ne pas prendre de petit-déjeuner avant le départ. Les ordures devraient être ramassées après 9h30 le samedi. Pas beaucoup d'espace entre les lits superposés et fils d'araignées au-dessus du plus haut. Difficulté à ouvrir et fermer les stores.

The house was cute, cozy, clean. It was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen is small for 2 to cook in but we made it work. The beach was in walking distance that was a plus. The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was quite. We went to just relax and for that everything was perfect. I would definately rent this house again.

Our week at the Cape was excellent due in no small to the great cottage we rented in Dennis Port. The place was clean, well stocked and located exactly where we wanted it to be. The single glitch was that we called before we went asking whether there was a Keurig coffee-maker there and received no response.

Bedroom with the bunk beds too large for room glad we didn’t need the room
Multiple windows did to open.
Major black ant problem. I was sitting in chair in living room and a black ant crawled down my shirt.
I would not recommend this vrbo until these changes have been met. It is not worth the money.

It was dark, old, not clean. There were bugs probably from the screens on the windows that were old and ripped. I was sleeping in one of the rooms and an earwig bug crawled on my hand while I was falling to sleep. It was dusty and had cobwebs everywhere. The bath room was too small. We tried to use the washer and dryer but it was in a small closet and there was no light near it to see what we were doing. It was a stressful vacation staying in this house.

Stay was good, if your back needs a firm mattress forget it, grill was rusted out inside and control knobs were stripped forced to eat out more, coffee pot in picture shows a keurig coffee maker it was not, outdoor shower was nice and large backyard was nice

Property as advertised. Clean, recently updated. Very close to the beach - less than 15 minute walk. Plenty of room for two, could have comfortably fit one more adult. Outdoor shower was a plus - great pressure. Two negatives - need more indoor lighting and the bed should be replaced. Overall would definitely stay again.

While the pictures and prior commenters noted the cottage was small, they didn’t tell the complete story. Perhaps it was timing, end of the summer, but when we opened the door we were hit with a pungent smell of BO not traditional ‘cape-dampness’ rather a very nauseating smell. Trying to open the windows didn’t works since some were wedged closed with starfish, broken, or otherwise not in working order. The bathroom door didn’t shut, there was water damage on the bathroom ceiling, and the fire pit cover was shredded. We contacted the property management company who did their best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, we had to take a financial hit and head home, there was no way we could stay at the house with the smell and lack of working windows. I do want to reiterate the management company was great and did the best they could…but in the 17 years I have been renting vacation homes this was by far the worst experience.

Great place for a small gathering that wants to be in walking distance of beach plus a couple restaurants/bars. Will need a car to venture out more, but the location was perfect for our trip. The house was on the smaller side but when you get the beach weather you hope for, you don't want to stay inside anyways. Large backyard and a nice small patio complete with grill. For the rainy days, the living room does have a nice television and enough seating for a small family.

That being said we did have a few “cons” but overall enjoyed our stay! Cons: their were some things provided and we knew we needed to provide our own linens and towels. No issues there. However, there was no dish rack which would be great. A line to dry things on like towels. The bedrooms had bugs. Some are expected but our daughter was terrified after finding maybe a dozen spiders and daddy long legs one night. We ended up leaving early because she couldn’t sleep after that. My husband thinks the bedroom window above the air conditioner might not be a tight seal. We wish we had known to bring laundry detergent and cleaners as there was Cascade for dishwasher (very helpful) but no laundry stuff nor any spray or paper towels or toilet paper beside one roll there. It’s fine - we did go to the store abs grab that stuff. Some of which we left behind for others. One last thing was the Xbox 360 was a great surprise with the games but there wasn’t a charging cord for the controller and the batteries in it were dead. Overall, it was a good week and we don’t regret our stay!

My husband and I stayed here for one week and had a pleasant stay. This small cottage was tinier than we expected but was clean and in a nice area. It met our needs for a full kitchen and washer and dryer but the main bedroom was a bit smaller than expected so the second room was handy for storing our belongings. We felt that the house could use some better lighting - some of the table lamps did not provide good light as the rooms did not have overhead lighting. The kitchen was great and we enjoyed the patio outside. We loved that it had an outdoor shower! A good choice for two people for a short stay!
