Had a lovely 4 night break in Quince House in Corbridge. The accommodation was small but lovely, perfect for two people. It is part of a larger house with a lovely garden over looking the river and bridge. We were very impressed with Corbridge. It's a nice village with several pubs, most of which were dog friendly. Great food offers at the Golden Lion and Wheatsheaf is really nice. All the people we met were great. The medieval pub is a must see. A new Italian has opened called the Cassia and it was excellent. Hexham worth a visit and if you want to take your dog to the coast, Tynemouth was lovely - both the beach and the town. Wallington house and gardens also worth a visit and dogs are allowed. Across the road is a lovely walk for the dog by the river. All in all a great week.
