Great cottage and great time had by all.
Great cottage and great time had by all. Very clean throughout and everything you need provided. Only slight improvers would be more electrical sockets and improved wi fi but probably as good as can be in this rural and beautiful setting. Will definitely return to the area again as great for walks and our black labrador.

Lovely location- ideal for dog-walking (as long as you/your dog doesn’t mind cows and ponies).
Lovely location- ideal for dog-walking (as long as you/your dog doesn’t mind cows and ponies). Secure garden with handy covered area and hose for cleaning muddy dogs. Wi-fi was so weak as to be useless.

Lovely cottage.
Lovely cottage. Enclosed garden allowed us to relax while the dogs could play without escaping..
The cottage is a short drive to anywhere in the New Forest, so easily accessed.
Because this is away from pubs etc, an update to Netflix would be a welcome addition for the quiet evenings.

Excellent place to stay for visiting New forest, Brook Barn was very dog friendly, we loved the horses all around, downside we had problems with the boiler and outside light owner was away but got the boiler sorted, some things in the cottage are very worn and could easily be replaced, I think with a few small things being replaced the cottage would be worth the money, the cake and milk and flowers were a nice touch also treats for the dogs.

Beautiful, cosy and well-equipped cottage brilliantly located next to open countryside with excellent walks right on the doorstep. The rooms were all bright and airy, and the whole cottage was clean and fresh. The owner was friendly and welcoming, helping us to settle in quickly and easily. The garden was sunny and private and this really was the perfect base for our week in the New Forest; we'll be booking again.
