Enjoyed our stay
Location great, Nailsworth is lovely and that we could walk to the town through the fields. Dog friendly. Bedrooms were lovely
Kitchen dark and outside space very small. There were a few things that needed some attention: broken bannister at top bedroom, kettle needed descaling, dish washer needed rinse aid and salt (which we ended up buying), some kitchen shelves needed cleaning and recycle bin in kitchen needs a liner as it had spillages from previous guests.

The house was in a great location but no parking nearby and very steep stairs in the house
Location was quite tricky because the parking space was far away from the house so we had to carry luggage down a very narrow and busy road. So it was dangerous!
I didn't like that there was no parking outside the house. I also didn't like the wood lice running everywhere on the kitchen floor. The noise of the guests in the next door garden talking loudly all evening prevented us from getting to sleep.

The cottage needs a bit of love. I wouldn’t recommend it for an elderly relative. The living room & kitchen were the
The bedrooms looked inviting & calm. When we asked the owner to have the cottage cleaned, she was very efficient about organising that but the cottage still smelt a bit musty, sort of uncared for.
The kitchen needs updating and the linens there need replacing. The TV doesn’t work properly or easily and there is no wardrobe or dressing table in either bedroom.Parking is impossible and the road is dangerous. Apart from that I enjoyed my stay though the cottage was dirty when I arrived.

Grew on us as the week went on.
Dog Friendly and the kitchen space was great for meal times. The property had a lot of character and it had been restored to a good standard.
Parking at this location was extremely difficult and it wasn’t mentioned in the booking.com description that the property was over 4 floors - this was not great with a baby and initially a bit of a shock. The property could also have been cleaner. Felt like possibly no one had stayed there for a few weeks previously and this could have been the reason for this.

Great base for explorers
The cottage is as described...excellent location, well equipped and served as a cracking base for our week exploring the surrounding area. Both the Britannia Inn and the George Inn are well worth a visit if you do stay in the area.
The shower...looking at previous reviews the power shower has been installed recently following comments about the previous mixer type shower. Personally, I think the retro fit over the bath is a mistake. It's very precarious to access the shower.

Would stay again
It's a lovely, quaint cottage, with all the required facilities. The second bedroom is quite small, and crammed with two beds, so the kids need to be able to get along. Master bedroom is fantastic. Would stay again if going to the area.

Superb 'pied a terre' We stayed for a long weekend and would not have minded a longer stay.
The cottage was very well appointed and decorated, with all the facilities you could need. The beds were comfortable the bathroom very good considering the cottage nature of the location. The entry and exit routines were easy and simple enough to comply with. Reasonable walking distance from Nailsworth. Very pretty location.
Very little to dislike, the kitchen was 35+ stairs from the main bedroom, encouraging forethought when making morning tea. You didn't want to go all the way back down if you forgot something. The main concern was parking. There was road side parking on a narrow lane. We wondered if we would ba able to find somewhere to leave the car within reasonable distance when returning. In our instance this DID NOT happen and with good driving skills a place was found.

OK, but living room furniture needs an comfy level upgrade
The area was lovely, beds were comfy
The cottage itself was hard to find in the dark and wet windy weather, we must have driven past it at least 4 time before finding a land mark and then contacting the owner for directions. The stairs were a lot more difficult than I expected and the living room furniture wasn't very comfortable.
