The villa was amazing!!! Great hostess, location, staff, safety and a cozy unique place!

The property is so well maintained, grounds gorgeous, unit very comfortable and clean. Ria is attentive and quick to respond. Very safe, having a van to take us to the center of town a real plus.

This residence exceeded my expectations! Not only are the grounds beautiful, clean and quiet, but the bedding is soft and comfortable, the hot water and water pressure were perfect, and the living area felt homey too. It was so easy to use the on-site shuttle anytime. I also walked into town. At the end of a busy day in the bustling town, it was so nice to be only minutes to quiet relaxation here in my own “home!” Oh and don’t forget the heated pool/perfect at night, especially! Everyone was attentive to my needs and smiled and made the stay feel fantastic!

Pictures do not do it justice. This place is beautiful. The grounds were always clean with flowers growing everywhere. Ria is top notch. She exceeded our expectations with her hospitality. We loved coming back to this villa every night after a day of walking around Antigua. The pool was nice and relaxing and the outside seating areas were nice. We highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to visit Antigua but doesn't want the noise. Thank you Ria.

We stayed 3 nights at villa Valentina and it was perfect. The hosts Ria and Carlos gave us a warm welcome. There was coffee and fruit waiting for us. The studio is cozy and has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, nice living room and bedroom. On the property there are a lot of sitting areas with umbrellas when needed. We didnt try the swimming pool but it was clean and probably nice on a warmer day. The studio is a 10 minute walk out of the center of Antigua but if you dont feel like walking you can take the free bus or take a tuk-tuk for only $2.50. At night very quiet, safe and relaxing.

We couldn't be happier with our choice in staying at Villa Valentina for one week in January. The owners went out of their way in providing excellent information, stocking the villa with food and beverages, providing transportation from airport and providing a very reasonable price for this wonderful condo. It is perfect size for 2 people (only one bed). We cannot speak more highly of the owners. Great people. The place was very clean and the location is a short walk from downtown. This is in a gated community of 66 charming condos. It is very quiet, well maintained and has great courtyards, gardens and pool area for enjoyable times outside. The security guards and drivers are very nice and do a great job in keeping it very secure. It was refreshing to leave the noisier, busier hustle and bustle of Antigua which is full of tourists, to come to the villa which is located outside of downtown area but still only a 10 minute walk to main plaza. We would only request more towels and washcloths along with but other than that, everything was perfect. Hope we were good guests so we can come back! We did break one glass but the owners were really cool about the boo-boo. Would not work for people with disabilities as the bedroom is upstairs and there are stairs at the outside entrance.

My partner and I stayed in Villa Valentina for a month while I was attending Spanish school in the mornings and we spent the afternoons and weekends sightseeing in and around Antigua. The Villa, Condominium and gardens are beautifully maintained and although it is on the edge of Antigua it takes 10 minutes to walk into Parque Central - the centre of Antigua. The Condo also has its own transport which will take you into Antigua as well. The Villa itself has everything you would need...because we were there for such a time, we often cooked meals and the kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything necessary. The linen and towels were excellent...the Villa was cleaned weekly and the rubbish was collected daily. Wi-Fi/TV as well - we wanted for nothing. The Condo also has a heated outdoor swimming pool which was hardly ever used - and the whole area is very quiet. The Cerro Santo Domingo is directly behind the Villa and if you fancy a 20 minute walk up the hill there is a fantastic restaurant and art museum at the top - not to be missed. You can have just a coffee if you don't want to eat a meal. The owners were very helpful and kind in showing us the Villa and I can't recommend it highly enough. You won't be disappointed. In fact we began as two people renting a villa and left as friends.

There are places to sit and enjoy the gardens throughout the condominium; making it a lovely place to come “home” too. Upon arriving they help you get your bags to your villa. The pool is beautifully warm making it perfect for Antigua’s weather which can have cool days/nights. The Villa is perfectly located at the entrance of Antigua and the bottom of the Santo Domingo Annex. This makes for a quite location to get rest, have a romantic getaway or just hang out after a day of exploring and walking in Antigua. The Santo Domingo Annex is a great place to enjoy a sculpture garden and have wonderful food and incredible views of the volcanos and town below. You can "hike" up the hill or ask for a ride. The Villa has all amenities and a comfortable bed and sofa to relax on. We only spent one night there, but we definitely plan to stay again.
