As pictured it is exstremly dated, WIFI does not work, heating you need to call the owner and she will come and turn it on. Shower is not very powerful, the cold/hot marker on the bath was on incorrectly which ended up in the bath being ran twice (we turned it around whilst there). The property was on sight clean however it could do with a through deep clean in places ( i cleaned out the cutlery tray and wiped the signs in the kitchen etc.) Also it says dog friendly but upon arrival you are greeted with a sign saying no dogs on the sofa no dogs upstairs. Says there is a parking space out the front this would only fit a very very small car so we parked on the road all week. Also the shed door with the chairs in doesnt open so couldnt use the chairs Very very close to the level crossing and trainline.

The cottage was well equipped and a good location for our needs.

The WiFi wasn't working and needed attention from BT. I phoned and told the owner but she did not bother to get it fixed. I also realised that the heating was not coming on and it was quite chilly in the mornings and evenings. I phoned her twice and left her a message but again she didn't bother to reply. Although the weather was warm in the day, evenings and mornings in the cottage were not comfortable and we even resorted to putting the oven on to try and stay warm. Because of these problems I rated the host and comfort factor very low.

Parking outside the property is for a small vehicle (fiesta) as anything bigger would block the neighbours gate. Cottage was very dated with depressing decor. Lots of rules of what you can or cannot do instead of information which makes your stay more comfortable and effortless. Felt like it was trying to be a hotel but you get to do lots of the things the vendor should make provisions for. Pet friendly if you keep your pet in the kitchen or garden.

The house is lovely and cosy with loads of character. We loved the little touches like the old photos on the wall of previous occupants. It is clean and comfortable and we arrived to find a bowl of water left out for the dog with dog biscuits! It makes arriving effortless and welcoming. The owner has thought of so many homely litte touches - pens and paper, cleaning equipment etc. There are nice friendly neighbours too. We loved it and will definitely be back!

Sweet little country cottage. Numerous beautiful beaches in driving distance. Very handy for the train!
