This 2 bedroom home was perfect for us as we like to cook and it had a full kitchen and BBQ off covered deck. It's also very close to downtown so we could easily walk to restaurants and Saturday Farmer's Market. Would definitely recommend, especially as we got a discount for staying for 8 nights which made if economical for 2.

Our favorite part of the property was the covered deck on the back where we could sit and enjoy our breakfast, a refreshment or have a nap in the sun which we did one day.
Bathroom and Kitchen were nice and clean.
House temperature was great.
Easy to walk to the beach, good coffee shop and restaurant.

No problems at all! From beginning to end Craig was and excellent communicator.
Excellent location very central for all our needs.
Easy walking to the beach and downtown for the farmers market. My husband golfed and it was a short drive to the golf course. Also walking distance wasn’t so bad.
House was very charming excellent air conditioning considering we stayed at the hottest days of the year.
Enough room in the 2 bedrooms and very comfortable beds!
The living room was excellent after a long day to come home and relax on the large couch and watch a movie.
The kitchen provided everything we needed for our day to day meals. The kitchen nook was great in the mornings to have the sunshine in while we were eating breakfast and coffee and planning our day.

Would be perfect for smaller gatherings! Loved the lighting and curtain provided a nice atmosphere when sitting out there in the evenings.
Overall it has all the convenience we needed for our stay. Even having a washer and dryer was nice.
I just can’t say enough of this place! It was so great it made our vacation one of the best ones yet!

The location was good, walking distance to downtown and Okanagan Lake. Street was quiet for the most part. The house was ok, however it was not very clean. The floor needed to be washed as our feet were black from walking on it. Dust bunnies in the corners and coming out of the air vents, furniture is old and not very comfortable. Washer and dryer were very old and the dryer sounded like a garbage truck running outside - both appliances need upgrading. Yard was very nice however, lawn furniture was pretty dirty. We had friends over and used the yard furniture but had to vacuum off the deck and furniture first. Overall the house was ok but lacked in areas.

Only issue was the use of scent emitting devices. A scent free property would be appreciated by those who have sensitivity to perfumes and scents produced unnaturally.

We really enjoyed our stay at the vacation rental. The house was even more spacious than we expected and the location was perfect for us - close to hockey, biking, and walking around town.

The residence was absolutely perfect and the perfect location for what we needed. The house was exactly what we wanted and as soon as you entered you felt relaxed. It was very comfortable and everything was well supplied. No doubt about going back next year.

Overall, the stay was fine and house decor was good as well as nice to have a washer/dryer. We did not get check-in procedures; however, we were able to contact the owner upon our arrival. We notified him there were two issues that should have been addressed and we never heard back from him.

We loved it. Could be a bit cooler but we were also there during the hottest week of the year so far. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in a second! Loved the function and upgraded kitchen and bathroom and the old decor and the old characteristics of this beautiful 1929 home. Thank you for having us!

The house was very centrally located and had a fully fenced yard for our fur babies. The covered back veranda was comfortable so we could enjoy morning coffee in the fresh air or visit in the evening.

Great place!
We really enjoyed our stay. Craig’s place is clean, quiet, well stocked and has a nice feel. The fenced backyard and covered patio are a huge plus. The house is walking distance to Main St as well as the waterfront and all both places have to offer. Craig was super responsive, helpful and gracious. I am sensitive to fragrances and scented laundry detergent and dryer sheets are used here, so the bedding and towels have that smell, which is hard for me. But other than that, this place is delightful and a definite yes!

Stayed here last year- loved the location and privacy. Back deck is fantastic for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening meals.

We’re a retired couple, stayed for a week. The home is absolutely perfect for us. Very clean, with very comfortable living space including an excellent covered deck and wonderful garden. Kitchen is very well stocked. Craig is a very responsive host which helps make the stay very easy. We plan to stay here again.

Restored Victorian perfect for a quiet getaway.
My family stayed here during our trip to Penticton for the ITU Multisport Festival and loved it. The beautifully redone home was cozy and comfortable, and provided a quiet place to relax pre- and post-race. We loved eating dinner on the back patio, and used some of the homegrown tomatoes in our salads. The grill was wonderful for cooking chicken and salmon. We would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity to visit Penticton in the future.

lovely home in the heart of Penticton
In July, my sister and our partners had to make a trip to Pentictor for my mothers' memorial service. I spent all of my childhood summers in Penticton and know it well. This house is located in one of my favourite parts of Penticton - close to downtown and within a nice walk of Okanagan Lake. The house was clean and large. We had to prepare the food for the memorial service and the kitchen was perfect for all of our needs. It was also very hot out and so the air conditioning and fans helped keep us cool. The house is nicely decorated and the back deck was perfect for the evenings. We even managed to play a game of crochet in the backyard. My only complaint is the movement sensitive light in the hallway - we couldn't figure out how to shut it off. When booking on VRBO as a Canadian, you need to be sure that the currency you are paying with is in Cdn. dollars. I thought I had, but I was surprised when the total was USD. Although it took us a few days to hear back from the owners after the original confirmation, once we did, the communication back and forth was excellent. I would recommend this home.

Great little house, fantastic yard and verandah, great location
We loved staying here; the A/C worked great, the kitchen was VERY well stocked, beds were comfy, the renos are beautiful. The location is great - 5 mins to many things (we drove but you could easily walk), the back verandah is beautiful to sit on at night. The manager is very responsive. It was a bit small for us (2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, and my 3 boys don't like to share beds), but we knew that would be the case going in and we made do. The kids liked sleeping on the big couch in the living room. If I was going to make one suggestion it would be to add blackout blinds to the front bedroom - that gorgeous Penticton sun did wake me up early every day! :)
