Nestled in Hill City, this attractive house for R 4,683 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Please note: The Hot Tub will no longer be an amenity after October 1, 2021. This townhome is located on Prospect Mountain on a ridge overlooking the village of Hill City. Downtown is within walking distance. (Only a few minutes down hill but remember coming back is an ambitious uphill trek!) The deck offers spectacular views of the town and surrounding mountain vistas. This has become a favorite setting for motorcyclists, ATV enthusiasts, classic and vintage car owners due to paved roads to the doorstep and a double car garage. We have off street parking for trailers on an empty lot on the Sluice Run cul de sac. Also, a perfect spot for family gatherings. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms make this townhome popular for couples traveling together as well as a family group. There is a gas grill and outdoor tables and chairs on the deck expanding across the front of the rental. The primary bedroom has a king bed with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. Wall A/C unit and cable TV for the master bedroom. The other two bedrooms have a queen bed in each with a ceiling fan and ample closet space! The bathrooms are adjacent to each of the bedrooms with queen beds. A portable queen size folding mattress in the living room is recommended for children only. The open kitchen/dining and living room area also has a wall A/C unit and flat screen TV with cable. Unlimited internet access. this is a NO PETS, NO SMOKING rental. Loved the Prospector VRBO. Could not have asked for a better central location for sightseeing. House had everything we needed for cooking, bathing, sitting on the deck, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice. We mostly enjoyed the fabulous views from the front deck. When we were home, that’s where we spent our time. We came to do some atv-ing and did that for 2 days and we really enjoyed it.

We picked this property based on location and capacity. To be very honest, the place is actually much nicer than it looks online. I’m not sure if they’ve done some updating since the pictures were taken but we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Our host checked in with us to make sure we didn’t need anything. They pre planned for just about everything other than the food we needed:) Thank you so much for making our stay flawless so the only thing we had to do was marked the memories!

My husband and I brought our grandkids for the first time for the 1880 train (which you can see from the balcony) soon and daughter came later and there was plenty of room! I think we’ll make it an annual event!

The first thing I noticed upon arrival was the view of the Black Hills surrounding the quaint little town of Hill City! The property was exactly as listed and was extremely comfortable for the 6 of us. It was equipped with everything you would expect it to come with to make your stay just like home. Morning coffee on the deck watching the 1880 Train prepare for the day's journey was most relaxing, especially with the backdrop of the mountains. I would definitely recommend it!

What an impressive place to stay in the Black Hills! We were 3 couple’s visiting the Black Hills and the Prospector was the perfect place to return to after touring all day.. The home is very well kept and appears brand new. Having 3 bedrooms & 3 baths was a treat for us. The kitchen was well supplied and the hot tub is an added treat. It would be hard to beat this place! We had a great time Thanks so much!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property in Hill City. Very Family Friendly, great location and view. We appreciated how clean everything was. Our favorite part is the large balcony overlooking Hill City. The information in the home is very clear and spells out almost anything you might need to know. We would recommend this property to any family visiting the area.

The rental was so clean and spacious! We really appreciated the fireplace on the cold days and the hot tub in the evening to relax! Couldn’t ask for a better spot in town up on the hill. We drank our coffee every morning on the deck and were visited by six to seven deer. The view is breathtaking! Marcia was so polite and courteous anytime we had a question or wanted to verify anything. We will be back soon and thank you for making our family vaccation so relaxing and memorable! The view from the house was amazing, overlooked Hill City and so pretty with the snow-covered tree tops! The garage was very convenient for our pickup since it was -20’s during our stay. Hottub was hot, everything was as advertised! We will definitely be coming back!
