We really enjoyed this house. It was clean and comfortable and not far from the conveniences of town. One of the best parts was the surrounding mountain views! Lovely. Thank you!

Was here with my husband and 4 of our children and spouses. The place is wonderful, 5 star from everyone.
Only one very minor thing, maybe having memory foam mattresses on top of the mattresses on the hide a beds would be a plus, the mattresses on there now are a bit pokey😅
But that was the only very minor thing.

We stayed for the first week of January the last three years to snowmobile in the area , we had a large trailer and there is enough parking for it and two trucks but the entrance into the driveway needs to have the trees trimmed back to allow enough room to turn without scratching the trailer. Everything else was clean and in good condition as expected.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the property was everything we hoped it would be! An added bonus is the beautiful hike into Begbie Falls that can be accessed on foot right from the property!
Quality amenities like a Weber BBQ and a Beachcomber hot tub make a difference.

We enjoyed our stay and absolutely loved the beautiful views. The house was a perfect size for two families and had everything needed in the kitchen.
A few minor things:
- the door to the back patio would not lock
- some of the appliances did not work (coffee maker, kettle and BBQ were not functioning), although the property manager did address the issues within a day or two
-The garage on the property was rented to another family and we awoke every day to construction workers around the property. Everyone was very friendly but it was not secluded.
Overall we had a great time.

The chalet had a wonderful setting with a beautiful views of both sides of the valley. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub hot and serviced regularly. It was a short 20 minute trip to the mountain resort.
It was our second trip to this chalet and we will most certainly come back again.

8 skiers from US, we enjoyed the evenings at The Snug as much as our days at Revelstoke. An awesome place. Great views and amenities. Loved the hot tub!

The begbie snug was great for our ski group. Nice views from the main room and the hot tub. Two things to note. The property is a little far from town and the ski hill. Not a big deal but it’s not super close to anything and the hot tub was set to 90 degrees. When we arrived after a day of skiing it would have been nice to have a soak but we had to wait til the next day for it to get warm.

We originally booked a different cabin via VRBO and we were informed a couple weeks after booking that a VRBO glitch had made the prices appear lower than they should have. So right from the get go we were disappointed when the rental company (Revelstoke properties) didn’t allow us to have the Begbie snug cabin which is the cabin we had initially booked. Instead we were given the Stoke cabin. This cabin looked alright in the pictures but upon arrival we found that it’s been beaten down. The ventilation system read that it needed service so the stay was very hot, the patio door handle was missing, the kitchen sink tap handle fell off in our hands, the dishwasher tracks were broken, there was an odd leak under the carpet downstairs near the basement bathroom that we reported but it never dried out the whole time we were there and we were told management was aware of it. The pool table cues were broken. Two of the four patio chairs were cracked and broken. The main floor toilet plugged up. There was a maintenance person that came out to unplug it very quickly but we honestly could have spent the entire trip reporting things that were broken. The upstairs couch outside the master bedroom has throw pillows with blood stains all over them. The bones of the place are good but it’s been run down big time. Also, not having seating on the main floor other than the giant kitchen table made for a very uncomfortable trip. The basement smells very musty, probably because of the leak. So we would have preferred to be able to enjoy the main floor sitting on a couch. Hopefully they fix the place up. Location was great. Distance to town was great, 5 minutes to downtown Revelstoke shops and restaurants. If all you plan to do while staying here is leave the cabin for the entire day and then eat out at restaurants then it could possibly work for you just as a place to sleep and make coffee in the morning. If you actually want to spend time in the cabin enjoying the space with your group, I’d say book somewhere else.

We really enjoyed staying here. Half the crew went sledding during the days and the other half enjoyed the cabin. Beautiful memories made here and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay but needs a good clean. Cobwebs and a layer of dead bugs in the lights. Lots of bulbs out and non-working switches. Very uncomfortable having a secluded mountain cabin with a family living above the garage 20 feet away. Creeping around and took the fire-ring off our patio to have beers with their friends. No window blinds in the cabin, very fish bowl, very cringy.

Winter stay.
Was a great stay.

Awesome place to relax after sledding especially with the hot tub, lots of area to dry gear out. Nice and close to town. Id not consider the hide a beds a comfortable place for someone to sleep after a day of sledding and a max of 4 people unless you want to share a bed.

Beautiful property, great view, great location
We really enjoyed our stay and the space and property was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fantastic and the beds and linens were comfortable. When the sun cleared in the morning, the view of the mountains was incredible. It was a 2 minute walk from the falls and trails as well which we loved. The hot tub was also great.
We did write down some issues we encountered, which really weren't a big deal but addressing them would definitely be great given this was quite an expense for our family:
There is a tenant who lives above the garage and has a young child. This was a non-issue for us, but we did not find out about it until the day we received our check-in instructions.
We did find that sound carried really loudly throughout the house. This was amplified by doors that squeaked really loudly and slammed really hard and chairs that loudly scraped the floor. Again, not a big deal, but felt pads and WD40 could go a long way.
The stove wasn't great and took forever to heat up and The oven was really inconsistent (could also be the elevation). The frying pans and baking sheets were a bit worse for wear. I wouldn't call it a chef's kitchen, but the island was awesome for prep and keeping an eye on the kids. Extra supplies, like facial tissue, tinfoil, and parchment paper weren't stocked but we were able to stretch out what was there.
A number of the power outlets did not work, which was difficult when trying to plug in a baby monitor. The router was really old and could only handle 5 devices at a time. Netflix was stuck on French and took a bit to figure out.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. We played games, went snowmobiling, went for hikes, watched movies, and ate a ton. The layout of the house and property worked perfectly for what we had in mind. We do think it was a bit overpriced, but given it is technically peak season, it made sense.

2 young grandparents each of our children and their spouses and 1 6-month-old granddaughter. Family had a great snowboarding/skiing trip and tons of baby snuggles at the Snug. Thank you for an early Christmas

Fun property
We really enjoyed our stay here. Kids loved the outside and the big property surrounding the house! In the middle of the corona virus crisis, we couldn’t have had a better place! More isolated and far enough from town to be safe, yet close enough to get supplies. The trails right behind the property were fun to explore and the cross country ski area is very close and also a great adventure. Love it!

Million Dollar View
My family stayed at Begbie Snug for our daughter’s wedding. What a beautiful property and house. The house was very welcoming. From the moment we walked in the house, we could see the upscale decor. The kitchen was very well stocked. The harvest table in the dining room was great for family meals. The full view of Mount Begbie was amazing. Whether working in the kitchen, eating in the dining room or sitting in the living room, you always had a great view. The porch was my favourite. Sitting having your morning coffee breathing in the clean mountain air watching the sun shine on the peak of Mt Begbie. We were very comfortable. The view of Mount Begbie was breathless. A beautiful backdrop for taking pictures of the bride. I would definitely return.

Very nice cottage
The house, the scenery, the spa. Everything was great. There were only a few issues. Aside from the pillows that could've been more firm, there was also the fact that the house was set up for 12. Those 12 must all be couples or children as there are no twin beds. Only double, queen and kings.

Great space!
This chalet was great! Plenty of room and great atmosphere. There are 4 bedrooms and two pull out couches in private areas. Great kitchen, dinning and living room areas. We were able to check in early as there was no one there the day before us. The hot tub was also a great addition. Revelstoke Mountain resort was about 15 minutes away and the town is about 7 minutes away from the chalet. Not too bad considering the great price for this large space! Would for sure stay here again in the future.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the most beautiful location.
The Begbie snug is the perfect combination of cozy and upscale. With a wood burning fireplace, jacuzzi, and all of the homey amenities you need from a crock pot to a turkey baster. I would definitely recommend this home away from home to my friends and family and will be back some day!
