Fully-furnished including renovated fully-appointed kitchen, dining and living areas, updated bath and laundry. Three Bedrooms include a very large king, one queen and one double. Large open space family room and dining room and a rare roof top deck. Walking distance to recreation, shopping, and dining. Unlimited wifi included. Available for short-term and longer-term rental.

Very clean, nicely appointed, absolutely everything you need in the kitchen and great high capacity laundry. 10 minute walk to The Rooms, the Basilica, St. John’ restaurant and entertainment district and Sobey’s groceries, pharmacy and liquor store. Our time walking up the hill improved greatly over the course of the week! Shared this space with my two adult sons - we were very comfortable. Loved the rooftop for Happy Hour, even with the folding ladder and hatch to navigate. Good communication with the hosts who were very responsive and accommodating. The owners have put in a huge effort to restore this heritage home and are continuing to make improvements. Their builders were responsive to our wishes. I will recommend to friends and hope to return.

Our stay went well, our host addressed any concerns or inquiries we had quickly. The house was perfect for our family stay in St.John’s: close to downtown to walk to, and it had enough room for 5 adults to use for an extended stay.

This property was perfect for our girls weekend in St. John’s! Stephane and Cory were wonderful hosts. Everything in the property was as advertised. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and well organized. There were plenty of towels and extra linens. The location was great for all of our needs, both downtown St. John’s and outside of town. Would highly recommend!

We liked the location and overall home was adequate for space. A couple challenges for us were the outside street lights shining in bedrooms and road noise that goes on all night. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Location worked well for convenience to walk down to tourist attractions but ran in to some shady characters around place. Depends on what your priorities are.

Everything was great - we couldn't log into the Chromecast on the TV even though we were quite familiar with it. Wifi was fine.

Stephane was easy to connect with and the house is lovely, spacious and ideally located near the restaurants and harbour.

This property is a very cute quant accommodation close to downtown St. Johns with partial views and parking. The neighborhood was walkable to downtown. The unit was spacious and equip with everything needed. My only feedback is that for the area, I was surprised the unit didn't have a deadlock. Overall would stay again!

We would rent here again. Streets are steep and resembled a puzzle. There was no walking from the house but we enjoyed driving to ocean scenes.

Beautiful heritage house walking distance from downtown
Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful month-long stay in this beautiful home. It had everything we needed, and lots of little extras such as toiletries and kitchen essentials. We loved the view of the busy harbour, and being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. The owners were very flexible when we wished to extend our stay, and responded promptly to our requests. Two thumbs up all around. Thank you!

Super place
This is a lovely home which accommodated the 5 of us perfectly. Keyless entry was seamless. Beautifully decorated, well-equipped and a great location. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine was a nice touch. Would highly recommend this home.

Unique and pleasant
The facilities were excellent and well equipped.
Parking was well organized next to the entrance. Sobey's was close by...only short walk. Our family felt this was a highlight of our 3 week cross all Newfoundland holiday. Location is central and favorable.

Great Stay on the corner of Barter's Hill and Cabot Street!
We were two couples spending a couple days in St. John's to finish our vacation in Newfoundland. Stayed at Stephane's property based on location and reviews and we were not disappointed. The home was fantastic and well appointed. Location was fabulous and we easily walked downtown to the action on George Street and Water Street in 10 minutes... even the uphill walk back to the house was reasonable and there was no need for a taxi.
The rooftop patio was a bonus and we enjoyed a few hours on a beautiful sunny afternoon before heading to dinner. A bit of a challenge to get on the patio but the view is well worth it on a sunny day.
We would recommend Stephane's place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in St. John's that's close to downtown.

Disappointing
Just cleaning up my emails and realized I intended to respond I didn't
Although it was 8 months ago it still upsets me . Before we arrived I had questions about the construction and wanted to know if it would be complete before arrival it took mutable request and time before we got a response and this had us very stressed out and wondered if we should try and find another place.We booked for 3 weeks they listed entertainment TV..did not tell you there is no cable...so there is a TV but you can not watch it, looking forward to having my morning tea on the roof top deck they advertised -could not go up there as the stairway up was not save...would not pass an inspection. Smallest kitchen- not equipped for long term stay...thank fully I was able to borrow roasting pan, large pot,strainer and mutable other supplies to make meals. They did have BBQ tools in the kitchen but there is no BBQ. The master bed sinks so bad in the middle we had to sleep on it horizontal. We hoped to have family over for meals but it was so unsuitable my sister rented a better place where we gathered(much nicer larger and cheaper) very shoddy repairs done on the place ...I could go on and on but no point.I would not book there again. Positive about the place very clean and location

Great Row House clean and bright
We enjoyed our stay in St. Johns this property is close to downtown and walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Plenty of room very clean home with all amenities. While WiFi was available there was no ability to watch TV as there was no cable connection.
We felt safe in this location the view from the upstairs bedroom was beautiful, there at one time was a balcony on the roof but appeared to have been removed when we were there.
Travelled to Newfoundland to experience the landscapes and ocean views and we were not disappointed.

Charming, furnished with flair!
Clean, bright, comfortable, great location with full amenities. Side porch and roof balcony with great view. Georges street and Water street with restaurants and shops at walking distance. Highly recommended!

Our stay in St-Johns was memorable! The house rental during our stay was part of our experience! Great welcoming owners, the house location was perfect and the house itself was very cozy and well furnished! Thanks again for everything!
