Nestled in Sea Colony, this lovely condo for R 9,110 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. OVERVIEW: Beautiful designer condo at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach, the best family beach community on Delmarva. Sea Colony has been named "the Premier Family, Beach and Tennis Community". This sought after point unit in the Sea Colony Resort is ocean front, beach front and ready for fun and relaxation! Incredible views up and down the beach and mere steps to the ocean and pool. ACCOMMODATIONS: Our lovely condo is completely renovated and state of the art. We are on the second floor of Dover House with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the promenade, dunes and a wide stretch of beach and ocean. You will find sparkling blue tile floors, modern open kitchen with stone countertops, bathrooms fit with tile, glass and granite, and furnishings of fresh colors to create a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Sleeps 8-10 with a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and two full/twin bunk beds in the back bedroom making this a great unit for a big family or large group. The living room and all 3 bedrooms have a flat screen Smart HD TVs and free WIFI throughout. There is a full size washer and dryer. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need, including regular and Keurig coffee makers. We supply paper goods also. Your parking permit gives an assigned parking space under the building. A second permit gives guest parking in the lot. Bike racks are located under the building so you can bring your bike or rent one in town. BEACH/OCEAN: Owners and guests have exclusive access to a half mile of private guarded beach. From 201 Dover, you will be a few steps away from either beach or pool. Our lifeguards are award winning professionals. Umbrellas and beach chairs are available for rent on the beach with personal set-up, or you can bring your own. SEA COLONY COMPLEX: The Sea Colony Resort has a wide range of amenities including 24 hour security, beautiful landscaping, 12 pools (two indoor pools with hot tubs and sauna, open all year),and the brand new Freeman Fitness Center with fully equipped workout rooms and a variety of fitness classes. There is also a second fitness center on the ocean side. There are playgrounds, basketball courts and walks to stroll or jog. The Sea Colony Tennis Program is rated among the top in the nation and was rated 19th in the world by Tennis Resorts. It has 34 well lit courts plus eight indoor courts in the marvelous new tennis complex. Clinics, camps and lessons by teaching professionals for all levels of experience are offered year round. Sea Colony also organizes summer weekly events such as bingo, sand castle contests, concerts, camp fires on the beach and other family-oriented activities which are a lot of fun! TOWN OF BETHANY: The town of Bethany is called "The Quiet Resort" and is located a half mile north by the beach or road. It's a nice 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride. You will enjoy walking along the beach to town any time of the day. Try one of the excellent restaurants, stroll the boardwalk and play mini-golf. Sample the best fudge around and enjoy beach treats to your heart's content. Maureen's Ice Cream Parlor is one of our favorites. Also we post restaurant recommendations in the condo. If you like to shop, there are lots of nice shops. The boardwalk bandstand has entertainment all summer. The independent bookstore in town has great mysteries and lots of local authors. It is a true family atmosphere. LOCAL ADVENTURES: For those who like to explore, Delaware Sea Shore State Park is 5 minutes to the south. If you keep south another 15 minutes, you will find Ocean City MD with a full array of vacation activities, attractions, dining and night life. If you head north about 25 minutes, you will find Rehoboth Beach which has a flavor of its own. The Rehoboth Outlets have unending shops with tax free purchasing for those who love to shop. Also the Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a great trip to iconic Cape May New Jersey, but it is a full day's trip and you probably won't want to leave your perfect spot for that long. Spent a perfect sister weekend in this sparklingly clean, welcoming condo! I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the most well-appointed and comfortable. Deanna has thought of everything to make her place feel like your home away from home. This corner unit has spectacular views and the Sea Colony Resort is lovely. We can’t wait to return when it’s warm enough to enjoy the beautiful beach!

Was a gorgeous property , had everything loved the decorating. Weather was great. Didn’t enjoy dinner at Fins. The Lobster Shanty in Fenwick was very good . We enjoyed wander the town and shops soo many sweatshirts. Ropewalk fried pickles were REALLY hot . Had a fun lunch there. Enjoyed relaxing on beach. Drinking coffee on balcony listening to the waves . Didn’t want to leave , we’ll be back

What an amazing location! The condo layout is a prime property, with wrap around balconies, giving you a panoramic view of the ocean. It is nicely furnished with plenty of seating and space. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need, and the same great view. The bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and the linens were quality. The Bathrooms had nice walk-in, tiled showers (although a little slow to drain), and good towels. The condo had lots of hooks everywhere, that are so needed on a beach vacation. The owners also provided paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap and laundry detergent (although it's the beginning of the season and may not always be the case).
Sea Colony was a nice community and we enjoyed walking across the street to use the fitness center and look at all the different kinds of housing.
Deanna was great at communicating and the keyless check-in was a breeze. She was prompt at arranging a handyman to come when the icemaker wasn't working and 2 of the tv remotes needed to be reset.
Being the end of April, it was not crowded. You could park anywhere, most of the pools weren't opened and the noise level was low. I imagine it's much different in the summer. We definitely put it on our list of "places to come back to"!

The view from the wraparound balcony is amazing and we enjoyed our off-season girls getaway! Close to the boardwalk, too. I don’t think it’s mentioned until the check-in paperwork is sent, but the property requires a recreation pass for each person, $15 each in the off-season, more during the summer.

We wanted a winter getaway that would allow us to enjoy views of the ocean, even if the weather was too cold to venture too far in person. The views are amazing. We enjoyed watching the snow falling on the beach, the waves crashing, and the incredible sunrise.

The unit was super clean, everything you could think of was available in the kitchen and the beds and living room were super comfy, making it the perfect fit for an extended family getaway. The condo was just as described and the check in process was very easy. We stayed here with my parents for a long weekend when we attended the Sea Colony tennis camp. I highly recommend staying here if you’re going to do the camp.
