We stayed for a week over the Fourth of July holiday. House is well furnished and in good shape. Nice quiet location but still close to amenities. Dock is fantastic, in nice deep water unlike some locations around the lake. The Jacuzzi was exceptionally clean and a quality model. In my opinion, everything at this property was nicer in person than the pictures represent.
Hightlight was the expert management - Lucille is a gem and she went above and beyond for us more than once, without being prompted. Real, geniune customer service. How refreshing. If we book this place again, she'd be a big reason.

House was good size, little dated, nice location , we had a great time, if I could change anything, I would add chairs to sit in when you’re out by the lake and out on the deck, the ad says they have satellite/cable TV, but they do not, you only have the option to connect to streaming services.

We want to start with the positives. Our family of 10 really enjoyed our 6 day stay. The kitchen was large with ample storage, prep space, and supplies. The upstairs had large rooms that were nicely furnished. The downstairs had the two large bedrooms w/ bathrooms and a game room with chess and a pool table. The millipedes liked hanging out there also. The game room could use more seating and an updated tv. The a/c works very well. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub on the lower deck. The two bay dock fit our 26 foot boat with speaker tower without any issues. The dock was very nice. (The ladder needs to be tightened up.) The lake and mountain view was great. We were in awe of the beauty. The location to stores was a plus.
The house is dated and furnished with solid wood pieces and glass accessories. The dining room chairs are worn and concave. There wasn’t anyplace to hang wet towels or swimwear. Some hooks on the lower deck would be very helpful along with a few rugs by the downstairs doors for wiping wet feet. We also thought a few hooks and larger rug by the entrance door would be a positive addition. The path to the water is a little steep but manageable and the property is overgrown and needs a good “manicure”. The upper wooden deck is needing some TLC. There are popped nails and loose boards. A few more chairs for the patio table would be nice. The host was available for any needs and we appreciated that. Overall, a very good experience.

Wonderful location and accomodations. We can highly recommend this Luxury Lakeside home. The hot tub and pool table were favorites with our group. The extra air matress and linens were a life saver for us.

The home is older and the finishings are dated, but our family of 10 enjoyed our time there. The location in a nice, quiet neighborhood was great and the property manager was very responsive a pleasure to deal with. That being said, there are some minor improvements/additions we would recommend that would have enhanced our stay. First of all, the entry needs a coat rack (or at least some hooks on the wall) for hanging jackets on in the winter, which is when we were there. The lighting in the kitchen is very dim and could use upgrading. The kitchen cabinet that would have served as a good pantry didn't have any shelves in it, so most of our groceries had to be put on the kitchen counters. We could have used more drinking glasses. One of the downstairs bathrooms doesn't have a single towel rack or hook on the wall for hanging towels, etc. These simple improvements would have helped make our stay just a little more comfortable.

Older house, but great property that was clean, well furnished and very spacious inside. Short walk to a boat dock on the property, where we rented a pontoon boat from a local spot that was delivered to us. Roomy kitchen that allowed us to cook both nights and really enjoy the house on a very rainy weekend. Only issue we had was getting the main television to work, but that was mostly an issue with satellite TV/internet (very common in remote mountain areas), and the fact there were tropical rains from a hurricane in the gulf impacting satellite reception. Great place if you want to just hang out on the lake for a few days. I’d definitely go back.

The house was clean and spacious. Furnishing is dated and not optimal for a lake, but that is a matter of taste. Beds were comfortable. Location has great views. I agree with another review that the contract was strange, but i later learned that the owners had several propeties on the street with similiar accommodations so the agreement made more sense. For a lake house i would have expected life preservers on the property - the water is deep, a dock with buoys to help when you have a boat and beach towels. I also think chairs on the dock and new furniture on the deck would be good additions.... and make the accommodations more user friendly. Hot tube was a fan favorite for my kids.

The policies set by the owner are troublesome. In addition to a security deposit there was a requirement to either pay for damage insurance or an additional and significant security deposit.
I contacted the owner and I asked her to waive the insurance policy and reduce the security deposit. She would not agree to any changes.
A week later, the day before check in I received a call from a lady who said she was calling about my rental and wanted to know if I had received an email from the owner and signed their policies document. I said I completed my booking through VRBO. She proceeded to tell me that that was VRBO and that the owner required additional documentation. She said I needed to sign their policy document and pay another security deposit. I I told her I would not pay any more security deposits and that if they required me to do so, I would cancel the rental. Later I received a voicemail from the owner indicating that I did not have to pay the additional security deposit.
Their policies are terms that contain additional rental provisions. There were two terms that bothered me. One indicated there was video surveillance and that we may be filmed while staying at the property. The other term stated that the owner or agent could enter the property at any time of the day or night for any reason. I struck out the video surveillance paragraph and changed the other paragraph stating that they could not enter the property without reasonable notice.
Next morning I received an email from the agent indicating that my changes were acceptable.
Later in the day while travelling to the rental I received a call from the agent saying that the owner wouldn’t accept my changes. She said she would be waiting for me when I arrived at the rental.
At 6:00 PM we arrived The agent and I agreed to terms, but the owner would not accept any changes. I had no alternative, but to go ahead.
The house was clean and there were only minor problems. like a broken hair dryer, missing TV remote and some stains on the living room rug. The exterior of the house could use power washing and painting. The interior could also use some painting, new living room rug, and natural light.
The house was very spacious and comfortable. . There was a new gas grill and it worked well. The location was very serene and close to town. In spite of all the problems with the process we did have a good time and enjoyed the property.

The house was spacious and had wonderful amenties - like a pool table and a hot tub. The property owner was responsive and easy to work with. Our only issue was the steepness of the bank to get to the lake. It was nearly impossible for Gigi & Grandpa to get down to the boat. We also wished there were fewer trees blocking the view of the lake from the deck. But, overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay!
