Perfect size with my husband and I, daughter, husband and 2 1/2, 5 yr olds, son and wife. Bunk bedroom is on second floor with living area, kitchen away from other bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen. High Chair! Great cart provided to haul items short walk to beach. 2 outdoor showers. Loved having pier passes! Pier staff helpful outfitting old rod and reel. Fun watching/feeding turtles and “flying” fish in pond(?) behind property. Ice cream (Ocean Gourmet and gifts-have kid size!), seafood (order steamed shrimp at Alex’s, Austin’s is great-scallops, shrimp, flounder, tuna steaks they vacuum packed to bring home but closed Sat/Sun), other necessities (Dollar General) all within very short distance. Our second year and second great vacation at rodanthe daze! Everything was excellent just like last year and we are looking forward to our third trip next year!

This is our first outer banks family vacation. We choose staying in the south part because it is more natural and less commercial. It fit our needs pretty well. The house is maintained well, has most of utilities for a family (nice kitchen and bedrooms, washing and dryer are powerful), convenient to the beach, there is a river at the back of the house where you can see many turtles. We got a little inconvenient during checking in, we contacted the owner and got response pretty quick, the owner refunded us the cleaning fee due to checkin delay. The TV is hard to mange, we spent time to try to figure out, but then give up. The internet speed is good, we just use our iphone and iPAD instead of TV during our free time. Overall we had a great time in outer banks and surround area. If we visit outer banks next time, we will definitely consider this place.

We really enjoyed this house and its location. The waterway behind the house had the sweetest turtles in it…🐢❤️ Melanie was quickly responsive to any/all communication. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house. Well stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen and for the beach. Kids loved the kayaks, adults loved the beautiful views from the balconies! Will definitely be coming back!

Or second year at this property did not disappoint. The weather was perfect, the fishing was great, and good times were had at the Tiki Bar! We love staying at Rodanthe Daze and will be back again for sure.

Rodanthe days is a wonderful property. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the ocean in one direction and a three minute walk to the bay in the other direction. Sunrise and sunsets. The property has 2 kyaks which we made use of,along with a beach wagon to haul stuff to the beach. The house was spotless, a tv in every room,but the remotes were a bit confusing. The kitchen is well equipped, the tiki bar is a great hangout spot,especially after using the smoker/grill. Would definitely return to this property. The host is very acomidating and responded to any questions I had within a very short time.

It was our first family trip to the beach & the house had everything we needed to feel like home. The owner was quick to rectify any situations and answer questions. Close enough to walk to the beach - we are already planning the trip back!

Rodanthe Daze is a wonderful place to stay! It has everything you could need and more. The pier parking and passes are an awesome bonus! (Tip for families: if you have a lot of stuff and not a lot of adults to carry stuff, drive down to the pier and park.) The house is setup wonderfully, beds are comfortable. The tiki bar downstairs is an awesome addition in the basement! We booked our stay for next year while we were still on this trip!

We had a blast staying at the beautiful Rodanthe Daze. The house had plenty of room for us and more. We enjoyed being able to sit at the table together for dinner or chill around the big flatscreen for a movie. It was easy to get to the beach from the house with many beach items available for use including a cart to help tote your things. Highly recommend this place and we hope to return!

Rodanthe Daze is such a gem. It’s located halfway between the beach and the sound so we saw breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and an amazing view of the April super moon. Wish we could have stayed a few days longer to enjoy the amenities offered on the property; we spent most of our time at local points of interest like Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, Jockey’s Ridge, Bodie & Hatteras lighthouses, Chicamacomico and Fort Raleigh when we weren’t working or completing school assignments remotely. (Wi-Fi held up great for anyone curious). Kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, the beds were comfortable with TVs in every bedroom (important should your family fight for control of the remote like ours) and the appliances worked well. We can’t wait to return and actually enjoy the Tiki Bar and bikes, fishing poles and kayak we spied down below. Thanks for sharing this well-kept second home with us!

This beach house is in a great location and has fun things for the beach. The layout is nice with most bedrooms on one floor and the kitchen and living room on the top floor. Great for fun days and nights!

We had a great time - walking distance to the beach, the sound, restaurants, etc. The house was clean and well kept - lots of sleeping options and comfortable. We had everything we needed! My 10YO was sad the bicycles were not rideable due to the rust and brakes not working, so we walked instead of biking and drove as we needed to. Easy communication/checkin/checkout! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay and traveled the entire Outer Banks. This property is close to many great restaurants, the Rodanthe Pier (we sat and watched the fishermen), sat out on the decks after a day of sightseeing. The owners are great and helped with lots of information. You will love it.

We had an amazing time at this house, and the owners could not have been nicer of more responsive. If you’re looking for a laid back town and neighborhood for an OBX experience, this is it. We loved going to the pier fishing and hanging out in the Tiki Bar in the evening. We will definitely be back next year, maybe sooner!!

We had a wonderful time in Rodanthe -- the scene was idyllic with wild beauty around us as well as every comfort we could ask for. The Hitchcocks were absolutely incredible: great hosts, always available, and incredibly helpful. We will absolutely return!
