Phoenix West is located on the white, sandy beaches of Orange Beach, AL, and is one of the premier condo complexes on the Gulf Coast. Phoenix West offers large and luxurious condos, and the complex is loaded with amenities. There is a Gulf front river with a water slide, a large outdoor pool, a kiddie pool that is perfect for the little ones, a large heated indoor pool, multiple hot tubs, a sauna, a top-of-the-line exercise facility, lighted tennis courts, a BBQ grilling area, covered parking, and more! Phoenix West 1101 is a large 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom condo located on the Western corner on the 11th floor. Phoenix West 1101 is Gulf front and offers amazing views from the oversized corner balcony. The huge Master bedroom has a King bed, a double closet, a private balcony, and a large flat-screen TV. This bedroom also has a second shower that is a fully handicapped-accessible shower. The Master bedroom also has a private bathroom that has a sit-down Jacuzzi tub and also a separate shower. Guest bedroom 1 has a King bed. There is also a large closet, a private balcony, and flat-screen TV in this bedroom. This bedroom has a private bathroom. Guest bedroom 2 has 2 Full Beds, a large closet, a private balcony, and also a flat-screen TV. This room has a private bathroom that has a shower/tub combination. Guest Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed, a large closet, a private balcony, and a flat-screen TV. This bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower in it. This condo has a huge, open common area where you can enjoy breathtaking views from every angle because the entire area is covered in floor-to-ceiling windows. The kitchen is full-size and has all of the appliances you will need, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave. The kitchen will be fully stocked with kitchen utensils, cookware, drinkware, flatware, toaster, and coffee maker. The kitchen area overlooks the living room and dining area and offers extra seating for 6 at the kitchen bar. The wet bar on the north side of the common area has an ice maker, a sink, and a blender and is a great place to make a refreshing cocktail. The dining area has a table that comfortably accommodates 8 people. The living room offers plenty of seating, as the condo has 3 couches and 2 chairs. The large flat-screen TV is perfect for watching a game or a good movie. Through the back of the living room area is a glass sliding door that takes you to the private and oversized balcony Again, this is a western corner condo so the balcony is Gulf front and overlooks the ocean, but it also has an unobstructed view towards the west, almost as far as you can see, so prepare to have your breath taken away! Bedding: Master - King Guest Bedroom 1 - King Guest Bedroom 2 - 2 Full beds Guest Bedroom 3 - Queen Living Room - 2 Sleeper sofa Sleeps up to 14 * Only 3 parking passes per rental per HOA bylaws. Parking passes have to be purchased from the front desk at the time of arrival. The parking passes cost $55 each. A great family vacation. My mother and three sisters also my mother in law and two sisters in law joined my husband and I. There was plenty of room. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed our trip very much.

Our stay was wonderful and we love the phoenix west property. Parking and access as well as the cleanliness of the facility is outstanding. There are a couple of very small items that I will mention so they can be cared for as I know property owners strive for excellence.
1. The legs on the table and coffee table were loose and we did hand tighten but they do need to be tightened with a tool.
2. A couple of the ground fault outlets in the bathrooms did not work ( bathroom near the living room against the right wall, and in the master bath and middle bath - but others did work).
3. Chest old drawers in bedroom closest to living room - nine of the drawers were on the runners and really usable without concern.
Again, none of this really took away from our stay or our pleasure, just things that occur in any property.

This large multi-story condo has everything we needed to accommodate our large family group for the week. The parking was easy and having a lot of carts in each floor was a bonus!! Good range of room sizes in the condo with extra open living areas for moving around, gathering, eating and relaxing. The spacious corner balcony was a great extra space to enjoy the beautiful view and sunsets each night.
The lazy river included tubes so we didn’t need ours. The pool was cool and reviving and the boardwalk gave us easy access to the beach.
The condo was stocked with basic things including mixer, blender and pots and pans. We had to buy some disposable casserole pans as there was only one 9”x13” dish. No soaps for kitchen or washer and no “extra” toilet paper or paper towels. You’ll have to buy your own! And no spices or things for meal prep. They have a great walk in pantry and a local Walmart Market and Publix to stock it with!
The floors and rugs could have been cleaner and one chest of drawer had issues with its drawer slides, but we managed.
All in all, it was a great set-up and we’d go back again.

We had a great time at this condo! We brought our daughters and their families. The condo was spacious and the view was beautiful! The only improvements I’d recommend is having the oven checked out as it didn’t bake food as quickly or evenly as expected. Also, my daughter is disabled and it was hard getting her out onto the balcony in her wheelchair due to the height of the transition on the sliding door. But even with that, I would definitely rent this condo again!

This was a great location, clean property and plenty of room for our family and both sets of grandparents who travelled with us. It was a great location with the pools, lazy river and slide and getting to and from the beach was only 1-2 minutes from our rooms which was amazing Only negative remark I would have one of the bar stools and bedroom sitting bench were broken, but other than those very minor things the condo and property were awesome.

We loved our 11th floor memory maker!!!
We are a Family if 12 so finding a place right on the sand was tough but we found this amazing place that had private bathrooms and balcony’s for every bedroom. Doesn’t get any better than that. Kids loved the lazy river and the slide!! Check out was a little early at 10am but we were ok with it. Couple of us got up early before we had to leave and went out to beach and when we came back the code to door wouldn’t work so we had to bang on door and wake up our family members who were sleeping to open the door. Door code should work all the way until maybe 1 hour past checkout because sometimes people forget something. Overall great experience!!!! Thank You! Will be Back!!!

The condo was beautiful. Everything we needed was there. Staff was very kind. We went in early May 2022. Things were not crowded. The pool and lazy River were amazing. The beach was beautiful and so peaceful at night. Very convenient to Walmart and Publix. I would definitely stay again.

The complex was fine. The condo needs visual improvements. The repairs on the drywall in a lot of areas have not been painted. To be honest it looks like crap. For the price I paid for this condo, we expect a fresh looking condo and not something that is experienced at a Motel 6. Also, there were (2) TV's that were not working. There were 2 lamps in 2 bedrooms that did not work (lightbulbs?). Dissappointed

The condo was very spacious with a beautiful view from every room! There were only 3 barstools at the counter but we loved the open kitchen floor plan and the ability to walk through. The bedding has been updated since these photos and most rooms (except master) had clean white hotel style bedding which felt fresh and looked better than the photos. The pool, lazy River, and slide were all huge hits for our group of boys. We had my family and my sister’s family with boys ranging from 10-15 years old. I even enjoyed the slide! It is much faster than it looks and the best time to go is first thing in the morning when nobody is on it. Grocery stores are very close by and loading and unloading is very easy with these oversized shopping carts on almost every flood at the elevators. It is much easier than the traditional hotel carts when trying to get all luggage, groceries, and beach supplies into the condo. The ice maker in the room was super convenient and the trash shoot on every floor was convenient as well. Awesome trip and great condo - it is a little warmer down and needs updated furniture but still was clean and made for a great Labor Day weekend with family.

Overall we had a good visit! I will give the pros and cons. To begin, the condo is huge! All of the rooms are more than adequate in size, and each has its own balcony with beautiful ocean views! The back patio is also massive (much larger than the non-corner units). There is plenty of good furniture for sitting outside. The condo was well stocked in the kitchen and had a full size washer and dryer. The amenities in the building itself were amazing. The pools and lazy river were plenty large for everyone to enjoy, and access to the beach was just a few steps away. The security staff and beach setup person at the building were so friendly and personable! The staff kept the grounds incredibly clean and we were bevy impressed with them all. Now for the other items- the condo unit itself needs updates pretty badly in a few areas. That black shower mold that has been mentioned on past guest reviews for a year or more…..still there! I thought for sure something that gross would have been addressed by now. We had other showers and just used them instead. The furniture needs to be replaced. Several of the mattresses are completely shot (especially the twin beds together in one room). Also, the living room furniture should be pitched and replaced. The recliner is broken, the fabric couches feel gross and the dining room table, while overall ok, looks like it’s seen MUCH better days. Having all those families in and out takes a toll on these items and the owners need to know they can’t last as long as normal household furniture. Lastly, the entire unit is in need of a paint job (many visible areas where touch ups have been done with the wrong color, where walls look dirty or where paint is peeled). None of these things hindered us to the point that we needed to complain during our stay (we saw these things in past reviews, and while we hoped they had been fixed, knew there was a chance they had not been). We would 100% stay at Phoenix West again and may consider this unit again if we knew at least the master shower issue was addressed and furniture replaced. Overall, we were out of the condo enjoying the amenities more than in it and exhausted enough most nights that even the bad mattresses could keep us from sleep. Hopefully they can address the other items, because it would be the best condo unit ever with just a few updates!
