Within walking distance of city pier and the city's major festivals, and only two blocks from the road to the Olympic National Park's Visitor's Center and Hurricane Ridge, Dove cottage awaits to refresh you after a day of adventure with two comfortable queen beds and a fully equipped kitchen. Off street parking and a fenced backyard provides safety for young children, while free WIFI and a 55" TV invites you to unwind. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination; and a compact washer/dryer duo are available to help you freshen up. Easy to clean hardwood and vinyl floors with no smoking/no pet policies help insure your comfort. The popular Olympic Discovery Trail is only five blocks away for an evening stroll along the Juan de Fuca waterfront to downtown. Cyclists find it fun to bike west to the Elwha River or east to Sequim on the Trail. Indoor heated community aquatics center is only five blocks west. Community tennis courts, YMCA, and children's playground within three block walking distance eastward from Dove cottage. During the time of virus awareness our enhanced cleaning procedures begin with air cleaning by a hydroxyl-ozone generator which cleans the air for 4-6 hours prior to our in-depth cleaning of soft and hard surfaces. After airing out the ozone, we launder linens with bleach added to standard laundry soap. Hard surfaces are cleansed and wiped down with a bleach solution of 1 part bleach:24 parts water according to CDC guidelines. Soft surfaces such as upholstery and drapes after vacuuming are sprayed with a 70% alcohol cleaner and allowed to air dry. After another airing out, the home is ready for our next guests. A cleaning tray is available for our guests use if they desire to clean during their stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It had easy access to the National park without having to fight in town traffic. The house was very clean and the owners had lots of great information available for us on the park. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit the NP

It was cute. The house was stuffy and not enough fans. The sink in bathroom was very slow running, not good. Couch was very uncomfortable. It was adequate.

Ron and Kay were so kind and reached out to us before our trip to let us know about traffic issues and local attractions. The property was very clean and perfect for two couples. We were also very close to Hurricane Ridge, which helped us get there before they began counting the cars towards the daily quota. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

My husband and I enjoyed a one week's stay at Dove Cottage. We enjoyed it's convenient proximity to nearby restaurants, shops, and access hubs around Port Angeles.
It was also conveniently situated not too far from the entrance to Hurricane Ridge (Olympic National Park) and a short drive to Lake Crescent and Sequim.
The house was VERY well stocked, which made our stay comfortable. Although it was just the two of us, the house would be plenty big for a family with children or two couples.
The manager was wonderful to communicate with. They provided a loving ambiance that was palpable through the entire property.
We would love to stay here again!

Our stay at Dove Cottage was wonderful! The house is quaint and homey and very accommodating for every type of visit. It was clean and located in a nice neighborhood. The owners were very pleasant to chat with and very quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely keep this house in mind for the next time we visit the area.

Great place & location - especially for hiking
My wife and I stayed here for the month of August 2020. The house was in great shape and it had everything we needed. We loved the fact that we were only a few miles from the entrance to Olympic national Park. We did tons of hiking while here. The house is located in a great location because you can get to the West Coast or the east side of Olympic national Park real fast. We would definitely rent this again.

Family vacation
the property was perfect for myself, my son and daughter in law and granddaughter. We came to visit my other son who lives in Washington. We had cookouts in the backyard and enjoyed meals together. We were there for 10 days so I was glad there was a washer and dryer. My granddaughter enjoyed seeing the deer that walked through the front yard in the morning. The grocery store was nearby and also a playground we could walk too. I would stay again.

Dove Cottage October 2018
We used Dove Cottage as our base for a 7 day visit to the Olympic Peninsula. We were very pleased with our choice. The house is comfortable, clean and well-equipped. And it is a convenient location for a number of restaurants and day trips to desired sites on the Peninsula. It was perfect for our vacation.

Clean & Thoughtful Cottage
The cottage was meticulously clean, organized with lots of thought given to details (coffee stocked, travel binder). Kay was responsive and flexible. Cottage is convenient to entrance to Hurricane Ridge. Our only complaint was the next door neighbors house (a few feet away) looked troubling (someone living in a tent in the yard, 2 muzzled dogs tied up to the fence) and so we couldnt comfortably enjoy the yard and didnt let our children go outside alone. Other than that, the home itself was lovely!

Our Stay
The house wasgood,but the neighbors had a big fight in the middle of the night from 1-3 am and the yard had two tents in it that looked like people were living outside. The first night the dog barked for 3 hrs straight, but did stop after that. Unpleasant to listen to firght and dog.

Great Little Cottage
We had a very restful time at the cottage. Extremely clean and comfortable. Everything we could ask for, including homemade cookies to great us upon arrival. It was a great choice. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the hosts and how well they communicated with us.

Great location and great condition
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless and very comfortable. They had a plate of yummy cookies for us and we were very happy. My only issue was the curtains in the bedroom let in a lot of light so sleeping in wasn't an option. I mentioned it to the owner and she may have replaced them. Highly recommend.

Lovely Cottage
We had a lovely 8-night stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything. The Hurricane Ridge entrance to Olympic National Park is only a few minutes away and is very beautiful with great views. We saw lots of black-tailed deer, Olympic Marmots, and the highlight was a black bear mamma and 2 cubs just below the Klahhane Ridge trail. One day we took the car on the 8:15 am Ferry to Victoria BC and returned later that evening.

Great location!
The house is small but it has everything you need! Port Angeles is a great location to use as a base when exploring Olympic National Park. Nice, safe, quite neighborhood with easy in and out. The property manager went above and beyond by having a 2 page document printed with trip suggestions after she found out the propose of our visit. AND she left cookies😀�. My husband, myself and our son and his wife enjoyed our stay immensely.

This cozy cottage had everything we needed and more. It was centrally located, close to everything
We really enjoyed our stay in Dove Cottage, it had everything we needed and then some, close to downtown, the coast, and Discovery Trail. We visited Olympic National Park most days that we were there and enjoyed being able to go back there every evening for food and unwinding. Don't believe that we could have found a better place for our stay in Port Angeles!! We would definitely stay there again, loved it

We loved our time at Dove Cottage
Dove Cottage was the ideal place to spend the last five days of our trip to USA after a road trip around WA and OR. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to visit Olympic National Park and get a ferry to Victoria in Canada. We did both of these and had a fantastic time. Being British we would have liked a kettle for our cups of tea but that is a very minor issue.
