Beach front condo, second floor, centrally located, with an exquisite view of the Sea of Cortez in La Jolla, San Jose, a secure resort with privately owned condos. This condo underwent a complete renovation during the summer of 2017. All new appliances, countertops, paint, refinished cabinetry, two burner electric stove cook top, new furniture. The condo is approximately 500 sq. ft. with a queen size bed that faces the terrace so you wake up with an ocean view. Standard studio size tile bathroom with shower. A wrap around couch in the sunken living area. You will spend most of your time enjoying the ocean view on the terrace in the mornings and in the evenings. The condo is fully furnished with flat screen t.v., kitchenette, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, stove top, cooler, blow dryer, linens, beach towels, beach chairs, and a safe. Access to laundry machines one floor below. 24 hour security. Walking distance from restaurants, convenience stores, shopping. Two landscaped and well maintained pools, one heated, one salt water. Access to ocean and lounge chairs. The pool that the condo overlooks in the photo on the listing does not belong to La Jolla owners. It belongs to the adjacent hotel, Hilton Krystal. La Jolla pools are to the left and not viewed in the photo. Daily bus service in front of La Jolla to Cabo and San Jose, every 10 min. Condo is 20 minutes from the airport and a five minute taxi ride to downtown San Jose with shopping, quaint bars and restaurants. San Jose is a quieter, quainter, and more serene town than Cabo. Great escape for romance, fishing, or contemplation. San Jose is becoming the go to place for art galleries, european style cafes, eclectic restaurants, and wine tasting. 20% discount for 28+ day rentals. Owner seeks long term rentals.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience from beginning to end. Condo is nicely furnished for everything you need. View from the balcony is stunning. Even though the pool view is not of the pool for La Jolla guests, it does provide entertainment especially late in the day. We preferred taking lounge chairs on the beach anyway. Thank you for an amazing stay. We will hopefully be able to book this location again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is well equipped and stocked. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing. The beach is quiet and you don't have to fight for a chair on the beach or at the pool. The Mega is an easy 15 minute walk away. We are thankful there was a water cooler and water delivery as in previous years we relied on the OXO at the top of the hill, but this year it was closed 90% of the time we went. The only negative to this unit is the lack of a bar-b-q. There is an electric grill, but it doesn't allow you to roast and there is no oven in this unit so a bar-b-q would have bene really useful.

Very nice property, there was a lot of construction noise during the day from the property next door along with noise late into 2 nights next door. With that said the property was very nice, beautiful view, convenient location and wonderful people.

Very quiet complex lucky for us Krystal Hotel had pool under re-construction although a bit dusty from all the sanding most of the construction noise was during the day.
Most days we had the pool to ourselves then as the weeks went on it got busier.
Views were outstanding, people were very friendly a few restaurants close by getting to them was interesting mind the sidewalks not in good condition.
Unit itself was as described.

From my first inquiry, I felt that this was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary - so happy we booked! Great communication, easy checkin /out, and when we arrived, we were thrilled to see the unit was exactly like the pictures! Everything you could possibly need is there, and well organized. We didn't have a car, but found literally everything (groceries, restaurants, medical offices, etc.) we needed within a 20 minute walk. If we wanted to go further, Uber was always available and just minutes away.
Recommendations for restaurants and notes on directions were bang on. The view...OMG - amazing!!! No question - we would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at La Jolla. As a female traveling alone I felt very safe. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the 2 pool were pristine. The ocean view from the condo was breathtaking. The Krystal Grand resort is next door but I never was bothered by any noise… I was also there off season so it may have been quieter than normal. The condo was clean and well stocked for everything you would need to utilize the kitchen. There’s a TV but it’s small and has a few channels to watch but who needs tv when in Cabo? I didn’t have a car and getting to restaurants wasn’t as easy as I thought to walk but Ubers are fast and affordable. The beach in front wasn’t one to swim in but you could walk down the beach about 3/4 miles to a beach with lots of surfers and a beach bar/restaurant (zippers) overall I really enjoyed my stay here and Barbara the property manager answered all my questions and gave useful information. I would be happy to stay here again.

We enjoyed leaving the doors wide open most of the time since we loved hearing (and seeing) the waves crashing on the shore. Since the unit is on the second floor, it's high enough to see the water. There were a few times when the party at the Krystal pool became loud, but the noise was blocked easily by closing the door and turning on the air conditioning. There are miles of clean almost empty beach to walk and there were beach restaurant bars that served breakfast in both directions. The pools and grounds were very nice and well kept. The pool areas were relaxing and spacious with plenty of seating. We enjoyed having a kitchen, but ended up using it very little. We appreciated that the unit was well equipped with towels, linens, kitchen tools, anything we could want. Also: parking was easy, safe, and free! We would definitely choose this place again on future visits.

Enjoyed every minute of my 1 week stay. Condo very well equipped and super clean. Beach location and Sunrise spectacular. The only negative I would point out is that other than walking miles in the sand ( can be tough ), the daily walking feels a touch dangerous strolling along shoulder of busy hwy corridor.

The small unit is very clean and the host was a hero directing me to the property after the VRBO app sent me to the wrong address.
It is a resort and this unit is adjacent to the Krystal Grand, so there was noise from the restaurant/bar every evening, and some drunken revelry the hotel did nothing to control.
Plenty of linens and everything you need for a beach vacation. Time to replace or upgrade some of the kitchen equipment.

The condo was exactly as what was described in the advertisement. It was beachfront overlooking the pool area of the resort hotel next door and it got full sun in the morning. My mornings were spent with coffee on the deck enjoying the sun rise, very peaceful and relaxing. As the day went on the resort pool of course got a lot louder and busier but the pools at the condo were a lot nicer and quiet. Most of the time I was away during the day and the activities next door were not an issue. The condo was well equipped and maintained and I had everything I needed. I had previously stayed at two different condos in the same location but this one is my favorite,I will be back.

This property was great for a nice get away. We would definitely recommend it to other couples. We stayed there from November 26th to December 3rd with our 5 month old.
Pros:
-Very easy check in process and great communication with property managers
-Amazing location and view
-Clean room
-Convenient amenities such as in room wifi, cold water dispenser, quiet heated pools in complex
-Comfortable bed and plenty of towels/linens
Cons:
-The patio overlooks another complex and it can be loud. The music shuts down at 10 pm, but people sang until 11:30 pm on a couple nights. In all fairness, the reviews and property listing were upfront about the potential for noise. It’s not bad, but if you are noise sensitive or have a 5 month old like us, then consider bringing a white noise machine to help drown out the sound
-The room is very bright and the curtains are sheer (which is a pro and con). Great for spectacular morning views of the sunrise, but not great if you like darkness or have a kid who naps during the day
Overall this is a great place to stay and good value for the price!

Condo is cozy enough for you. Great kitchenette. Lovely grounds, although only 1 of the 2 pools was available during our stay.
Condo is a quick 7 minute drive to downtown and restaurants. Is great for people looking for a slower paced vacay away from the hustle and bustle.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property and their standards for noise control and rules. The security guards made us feel welcome and gave us a sense of security at the property. The condo itself had everything we needed even a bottled water service at a very reasonable cost of $2 USD. We were able to take Uber rides to San Jose for about 100 Pesos and to grocery stores and nearby restaurants. Lisa's package of information on hotels, etc. was so useful and not something we've received from other VRBO in the past. Her cleaning lady and herself were easy to reach when there was a bit of communication mixup on our arrival and departure date. Handled quicky and efficently. I would definitely stay here again. (note some reviews state that the noise from the next door resort was't good but we didn't notice at all and we don't stay up late)

Such a great condo in an excellent location. Condo was very comfortable. Noise was not an issue. The complex was great. The pools were not busy, and people were very friendly. Close to great restaurants on the beach, and close to San Jose for great restaurants and some nightlife. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful Condo with the most amazing sunrises
The view from this condo was amazing! Waking up to the Baja sunrise every morning was well worth it for us. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for preparing meals and a water cooler and full sized fridge was perfect. The pools and grounds were well maintained and beautiful. The staff on site were very helpful and friendly. Maria especially! Our parents have now booked for a stay based on our photos and recommendations.

The location of condos was very good. However, our unit right over pool for resort next door. The pool very busy.

Ocean/beach/pool view
We are a retired couple and enjoyed our stay here for 9 days. The studio is light & bright with a beautiful ocean view. We found the hotel pool in front was OK for people watching, especially during our happy hours on the patio. If it became too noisy in the evening, we closed the doors & windows & put on the A/C. It was clean & the bed comfy. The shower was large with good water pressure. It worked well for 2 people.

Krystal Grand is right next door and right in front. Their pool opens at 9:00am and the disco, plus sports bar immediately to twelve feet from the condo is open till 11:30. Alcohol is free and the drinking starts at 9:00. Clients are loud and uncontrolled, the music is the same. Not worth the view and definitely not a relaxing holiday for us.

The pools are saltwater and fabulous and a quick 2 minute walk and you are on the beach under a palapa or playing in the ocean. 🐠
Be careful swimming in the ocean - strong riptides -> but we saw whales in December from the beach 🐳🐳🐳 Enjoy!
