Booth Bay Harbor peninsula is just to our south and the coastal cities of Camden and Rockport just to our north and Bar Harbor just beyond. Our cottage sits in an undeniably convenient mid coast location! Hike thru the nearby woodsy trails and see first hand seasonal sightings of deer, fox, wild turkeys, and of course, the usual array of more common creatures, such as chip monks, squirrels and prairie dogs. As well as, bald eagles and osprey, if you're lucky enough, along with the more typical woodland birds and sea gulls too. And, at nite, listen for the sounds of distant coyotes, hooting owls and the rustle of other creatures of the nite, in the nearby underbrush. By day, take the Right Of Way thru the Connor Rock Lot, a short walk away to the Atlantic Ocean. Sit back on the rocks and watch the lobster men retrieve their catch of the day. Or, simply enjoy the crashing surf and white caps on a windy day - see attached photos.
