Beautiful stay

The hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. We were given a beautiful room which allowed us to feel comfortable and relaxed after a stressed day. Mr Vijaykumar assured we were comfortable through our stay.

clean rooms and bathrooms

Terrible communication before the arrival. Had clearly communicated about the arrival and departure time but the room was not ready. waited for close to 2 hours, with my pregnant wife. Had to pay extra for early check-in, which is understandable, but must be communicated during the correspondence. The window of the room is not secured, my daughter almost fell out of the window. Safety does not seem to be a priority.

The room which we finally got was clean.

Absolutle disgusting experience, tried to shift us to the other hotel "regenta inn", and had the audacity to call it an "upgrade". The other hotel had the bathroom leaking and mould on the cieling. After a lot of insistance was given a room at this hotel. Again, had to wait for close to 2 hours, with my pregnant wife. So, if you are offered a upgrade, be careful. This was my second time in a month here, and the previous time I had complained about the window being not secure, as my small daughter almost fell out, and it has still not been fixed (coincidenlty we got the same room both the times). Have been offered dinner and airport transfer as compensation, still haven't recieved. This hotel is clean, but i have to write a bad review because of certain staff, which is a shame.

The hotel is quite basic but it's a convenient place to stay, close to the airport. Front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful. They were available to assist at middle of the night when we realised the comforter was wet upon arriving during midnight. Would recommend it to whoever looking for a stay near the airport.

great value for money, excellent service, clean and tidy rooms.

We can’t thank the staff enough for their service. I left my bag in the taxi, with all my atm cards in it and their staff member went above and beyond, making multiple calls over a number of hours to locate it for me, then picking it up from the airport taxi company himself when he did locate it. even refusing a tip as a thank you. An amazing experience, I can’t imagine I would have got this type of service in my homeland.

Very good

Bed was nice. Location was a little bit remote but near to airport. Front desk was friendly.

Getting there could be challenging, it is reccomended to called the hotel to provide pick up from airport. However, it could be quite pricy. Breakfast timing was late. I skip breakfast because trying to catch a flight.

Comfortable, meets 4 star standards and suitable for overnight awaiting flight in morning.

Breakfast was good with adequate service provided. Hotel was clean with friendly staff. I would stay again at the galaxy, was quite a nice hotel with quite spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable Bed. Overall a good, safe and comfortable place to stay while awaiting another plane ride in morning. Meets 4 star standards.

The only difficulty was with transfer to and from airport... as an international, I tried to arrange pick up with hotel prior to arrival. It was difficult to contact the hotel to arrange pick-up as they prefer contact via mobile number which is not easily obtained in India on arrival (compared to many other countries I have been to). The hotel offered a Toyota innova as the only option (more expensive option). It is however much easier and cheaper to use Uber and better. Otherwise, cabs are a good option... DO NOT pay more than 400 rupees for a one way transfer to the hotel... I was new to india was ripped off by cab driver who got 800+ rupees who took a diversion route to avoid tolls and made a 10 minute drive into a 30+ minute drive. Hotel kindly offered a complimentary trip back to airport, but this never materialised and we just organised our own Uber ride.

Beware of advance charge policy of hotel.

Room was modern

Charged twice for each room and took long to refund the second over charge. In fact had to contact booking.com to effect refund after a week of communication and obvious photographic evidence supporting claim to hotel. Gym equipment not maintained.

Had vistited Bangalore for the site visit of an upcoming school, the facility was very good.

The best place to stay in Bangalore

Everything was spectacular! The breakfast was delightful, the room service was great, and the staff took care of us very well. We appreciate all the help. Thank you so much Shivas Galaxy Hotel!

The location was a little hard to find and it’s hard to call the hotel because sometimes they do not pickup.

Good

It was very close to the airport. I felts safe travelling as a single woman. They even sent a security guard with the driver to drop me at the airport.

Room service needed multiple reminders to bring water. They also missed on some of the orders.

very pleasant staff, very helpful. property was clean and the lobby was welcoming.

I was unsure if the water supply was purified. As a western traveler in India, I’d heard all the warnings about not drinking the water or getting it in my eyes, nose, or mouth when showering. Water for coffee/tea was provided, but it was in refillable bottles, so a sign in the room telling the guest that the water was purified would have been reassuring.
