Nestled in Cardiff, this attractive house for R 12,875 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our unique home boasts copious amounts of natural light and access to the ultimate in indoor/outdoor San Diego living with complete walkability to beaches, parks and markets. The main room boasts wall-sized glass doors that open to the wood and turf yard. When closed, there is a cozy, hearth inspired feeling in the main room. Open the doors to capture sparkly sunshine and let the kids run wild day or night. The 3 bedrooms upstairs have a combined sleeping arrangement for up to 5 adults and 5 children including 2 queen beds, a full/twin bunk bed, a portable crib and a full size crib. The Master Suite provides privacy and a spa-like feeling with its King temperpedic bed, infared sauna, full tub and massage shower. Stroll down to Seaside Market to pick up the fresh catch of the day or some famous 'Cardiff Crack' and then enjoy cooking in our chef-inspired kitchen complete with all appliances and serving utensils. Or Bar-b-que by the saltwater lap pool as the sun sets in the backyard. Dine indoor or out on our many decks and patios. Our home is completely family and pet friendly. You will find stacks of kids and adult books, games, and toys for all ages. A beach wagon with towels, sand toys, a boogie board and children's wetsuits as well as a parking pass for the beach are provided for guest use. ading in the cozy library, watching t.v. with apple t.v./cable/ and a sonos sound system, soaking in the hot tub or relaxing in the sauna, playing games, listening to or playing music in the music room, or just enjoying a nice conversation in the large and welcoming living room. There are three fireplaces for those chillier nights (or ambiance) and a large, fully-equipped Chef's kitchen to satisfy the most enthusiastic and passionate cooks. Enjoy a meal at the large dining room table or on the balcony watching the sunrise or set. Have a bar-b-q with our state of the art outdoor grill or enjoy the night around the outdoor fire pit. You will have access to the washer and dryer for taking care of all your sand laden beach wear. No need to leave your furry family members at home either. This house takes advantage of the amazing beach weather. Open the windows to have the trade winds cool down the house. The outdoor area and kitchen were by far our favorite parts. Anything and everything you need to cook meals. We took advantage of the grill and large table outside for family meals. The pool is also fantastic, the temperature is perfect. Another pleasant surprise was the speakers that allowed us to listen to music throughout the house and while lounging outside. Great neighborhood and proximity to beach, restaurants, grocery store and surf shops. And Jason is extremely helpful and attentive. One of my favorite VRBO stays yet. I hope to be back!

Lots of things to love about the property; the size and location to fun spots for food/beverages/beach that are walking distance for the average traveler! The house itself is spacious and creative; complete with all the kitchen supplies and sundries you will need to get your vacation off the ground! The pool was amazing and our family gathered there for hours. The property also has a great selection of books and LP's to entertain yourself; including a ton of cook books to peruse. We were surprised that some basic features weren't working; mainly the garbage disposal, dishwasher was meh some windows, as well as a general sense of care and cleanliness. The house definitely emanates a Life is Good energy, and you will enjoy it !

Interesting home with plenty of amenities for folks of all ages. Our teenagers enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and the assortment of games provided by our host.

This house was by far the best property we’ve rented so far. We have a big family and there was enough space for all us. Not only the location is killer, the neighborhood is very nice. Super close to the beach and restaurants but tucked in a beautifully quite neighborhood. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained, roomy, stylish, fun and yet super cozy. We had great flow with the fam inside and outside…the space allows for relaxation, creativity to flow and fun. It brings everyone together to either cook in their very well stocked kitchen, or spend time in their large hot tub…you can also choose to go outside and swim with the kids or stay inside to make art or read…a ping pong table is always fun! The TV room is huge with a large TV…they also have a record player and an amazing selection of records if you feel like shaking your bootie…there’s a piano and other instruments to play. The master bedroom is far enough from the rest of the house and provides tons of privacy…with a sauna and tub in the bathroom. Jason is a great host and the house very well stocked and maintained. We are definitely coming back!

We loved staying at Jason's place. The house was big, clean, stocked, and family-friendly. We also were particular fans of the location. Up the hill a bit, but close to beautiful walking paths that can take you to downtown Cardiff or over to the Encinitas community park. Jason is also a great guy - clear communication, helpful recommendations, etc. We hope to stay again next time we're in Cardiff!

Overall the property was great. The original architecture combined with the various upgrades over the years make this house a quasi MC Escher painting with all the little nooks and crannies. Jason was a very gracious host, available to answer questions and concerns that we had. And the location can't be beat. Just a few blocks off the freeway, and a few blocks up the hill from Cardiff's main shopping center and the beach. The neighborhood is really nice too. Along with the proximity to the beach, there's also a nice walking path and a huge park nearby. The only concern we had was that the cleaning crew wasn't as thorough as we had hoped in following the recommendations for cleaning during COVID. Overall this was a great place to stay, and we would love to stay here again in the future.

This house is so fun! There is something for everyone with the ping pong table, lap pool & many games. We had a great time walking to the beach every morning down a neighborhood pathway at the bottom of the street. Thanks for a great stay!

Owner and manager were super responsive and helpful. The place was just perfect. For days we didn’t feel like going out, there were tons of things to do at the house. And then the area is awesome. Neighbors were so kind and the stores and beach were super close. All in all we loved it and would love to come back!

We had a great visit at Jason’s house. It’s the perfect house for a family, especially with small children. The house is a short walk into Cardiff, and we felt completely safe in the neighborhood. We hope to visit again!
