Located in Cayuga Lake, this lovely cabin for R 4,004 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Log Cabin Vacation Rental – Rustic exterior, Modern interior. Cayuga Lake – Finger Lakes - Cayuga Wine Trail We have 2 other cabins on the same property - please check out vrbo 763447 or 1674071 if you can't find the dates you need or want to also book a second or third cabin. This visitor friendly property is located in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, on the west side of Cayuga Lake. A rustic log cabin retreat with a luxurious interior, modern feel and a comfortable open floor plan. This is a great place to begin the Cayuga Wine Trail. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with all appliances and a dining area that seats six. The living room has a couch and love seat, 43” flat screen television, DVD player, cable TV and wi-fi. Rates are inclusive of 4 guests. The fifth and sixth guests, regardless of age, are charged $20 per person per night. We are a Dog-Friendly property! For a small fee, your dog(s) (maximum of 2) are welcome to stay with you. Please make sure to read the Pet Addendum. When booking the reservation, before clicking "Book It", click in the box above the "Book it" button and select Yes for Pets. The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. There are two private bedrooms – each has a queen size bed, spacious armoire closet, large chest of drawers, and nightstand. While bright natural sunlight normally fills the bedroom, there are room darkening shades for a peaceful sleep. There is a queen size pull-out couch in the living room that accommodates two more people. There is one bathroom with shower stall. Open year-round, the cabin has with radiant floor heating to warm you on chilly nights, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room to cool you on warm summer days. Outside, the spacious porch provides additional under-roof space for socializing and relaxing. There is a picnic table and charcoal grill with grilling utensils for your outdoor enjoyment. Relax in front of wood camp fire in our fire pit area. Hiking opportunities abound. Tour the wineries - the cabin is centrally located on the Cayuga Wine Trail, with the Seneca Lake Wine Trail a short drive away. Enjoy swimming, boating and fishing on Cayuga Lake. Cayuga Lake access is available via the cabin owner’s property and is a short hike from the cabin. We are a five-minute drive from Deans Cove boat launch. Taughannock Falls State Park to the south and Seneca State Park to the north offer hiking trails, beach swimming, and boat launch There are numerous golf courses in the area, and miles of bicycle paths at nearby Sampson State Park. Take a tour to see White Deer at the Seneca Army Depot , which supports the largest herd of white deer in the world behind 24 miles of protected fencing. Birding and guiding kayaking tours are at the Montezuma Audubon facility. Enjoy winter skiing and recreation at several area ski resorts – Bristol Mountain in Canandaigua (also has zip line tours) and Greek Peak (also operates a year-round indoor water park). Close by you’ll find numerous antique shops, concert venues and live music performances. Area attractions within a 1-hour drive include Watkins Glen Gorge and International Raceway, Cayuga Lake Boat cruises, Museum of the Earth, Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge and Waterloo Premium Outlet mall. A sampling of annual events includes: February – Mardi Gras on the Cayuga Wine Trail Apriil – Wine & Herb Festival on the Cayuga Wine Trail July – Finger Lakes Wine Festival at Watkins Glen September – AKC Dog Show at Sampson State Park November & December – Holiday Shopping Spree also on the Cayuga Wine Trail Rates are based on the season and length of stay. This property is dog-friendly – we encourage you to bring your dogs with you (maximum 2)! Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while outdoors. Inside the cabin, dogs shall not be left unattended unless crated. Renters are responsible for cleaning up and properly disposing of dog waste. A reasonable pet fee will be charged. Maximum of 2 dogs per cabin. Smoking and Hunting are not permitted on the property. Open fires / campfires are permitted only in the concrete fire pit.

We atayed here while in town for a retirement party in the area. The cabin seems like brand new. It was spotless and looked better in person then the photos online. The beds are firm/hard which worked for me but may not work for some. The owners are very responsive and easy to deal with. I would recommend it for a peaceful getaway. I would note that you do not have a view of the lake which was a disappointing surprise. Phtots online lead you to think there is a view.We also observed the price drop within a few hours of payment ans then again a day or two later which was surprising.

We had an amazing NYE weekend at this property. You can’t ask for a better location to easily access many wineries, and downtown Ovid. Great parking. The cabin has everything you need - kitchen is well stocked. So happy we chose this location for a quiet, easy getaway!

We loved our stay! We celebrated our five year wedding anniversary here. The weather was quite rainy, so it was nice to be able to come back to our cabin to just cozy up. We were very comfortable, and our dog enjoyed the accommodations as well! We’ve already booked the cabin for our wedding anniversary next year. The cottage was immaculately clean. The hosts Sheryl & Jim were very friendly and made sure right away that everything was was up to our expectations. Beautiful location in the heart of the Finger Lakes wine country. There were several cideries, breweries and distilleries nearby. No need to mention the wineries nearby, too numerous to count. Conveniently located within a short drive to three State Parks, Samson on Seneca Lake, Taughannock Falls, & Cayuga Lake state park al within about a 20 minute drive.

Shortly after we arrived, the owners, Cheryl & Jim, stopped by to introduce themselves & see if we needed anything. The area is very quiet & relaxing, perfect for a girls weekend getaway. We spent 2 nights in cabin C- it was great! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and ceiling fans in every room. The cabin is beautiful. Our loved running around in the large yard. Jim stopped by twice to give some recommendations and make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again!

We rented all 3 cabins for our family vacation. Everything was absolutely perfect! Cabins were clean and well stocked with everything you might need. Grounds were excellently kept - perfect for all the kids running around. Jim & Cheryl were wonderful hosts - gave us great ideas on places to go and things to do! And the location is great - right in the middle of Cayuga lake, so you are a short drive from pretty much everything! We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend any of the cabins!

This was our second time staying at the cabins! We have started an annual girls trip, love the location and the owners. Clean, cozy cabins with comforts of home. We always check out local spots - State bakery and bbq and lively run farm are some of our favorites - recommended by the owner. Quiet at night! Highly recommend to anyone!

Cabins were nice. Clean, warm and cool as needed. Well appointed kitchen with all the necessities. Very dog friendly. Neighbors in cabins were friendly, we enjoyed sitting around the campfire with them. Access to water was across the road, with 150+ steps. Good exercise, but slippery when wet. Highpoints for us were easy access to wineries, cheese tastings and dog friendly wineries (dining at some). Good time - thank you.
