This home was decorated nicely - very beachy! My husband made the comment " it's like we're staying at a friends home". It was very comfortable and the location was great - just a few blocks from the beach. We will definitely recommend this property and the next time we go to Gulfport we would love to stay there again! Many thanks to the owner!

Very clean and good location. House was very well stocked with blankets, towel, ect. Would definitely stay there again.

My Family came in for a Cheer Competition for our daughter. The house was very clean and well stocked with all of your basic needs and more. It’s located in walking distance to the beach. No complaints

Wonderful house, fully stocked for a weekend or week at the beach. Great location, not too close to the railroad tracks and only a short walk to the beach. We had a grest time!

The Pelican Cottage was perfect for our family getaway. Rental was easy. We found EVERYTHING we needed from lots of towels to a beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, and even a variety of spices and food staples already there. The beds were comfortable and the house is beautifully decorated. There was even a special welcome to our family on a note board in the kitchen.

We so enjoyed our vacation and had so much fun! The house was great and the location was perfect! Very quick walk to the beach. I was worried about crossing Beach Blvd to get to the beach itself, but it wasn't a problem at all. Everything needed was very close - restaurants and grocery stores. We did drive into Gulfport itself to go to the movies (very nice theater!) one day when it was raining and the drive wasn't too long or difficult - we didn't get lost! We also went to Mass at St. Thomas which is just a mile away - a very nice church. Nearby restaurants were very good - Steve's Marina and Shaggy's. Since we were so close to New Orleans, we took a day trip there as well and enjoyed the French Quarter. The house itself was the perfect size for our family of four. We were able to spend time together - cooking, eating, playing games, and watching Shark Week specials! So glad that there was a washer and dryer - no laundry needed to be done as soon as we got home! Quite a bit of time was spent on the front porch in the rocking chairs, too. Each morning at least one of us would sit there and enjoy watching the day come awake. :) Ahhhh, I want to go back! We will definitely remember this vacation! If we are able to, we'll certainly stay here again and we highly recommend this house to others.

This cottage is in a perfect quiet location; close to the beach and restaurants. Very clean. Everything we needed for a vacation as a family.

Ive stayed at alot of wonderful homes on vrbo and abnb but this is the one place that I will come back to. Perfect quaint home within walking distance to a perfect beach for young children to spend the day and close enough to get home easily. Everything you need for the beach and home is provided for. The porch was the best part for me. Close to enough to Biloxi but away from the hustle and bustle. The beds were great, the water pressure great, it was clean upon arrival, and had every small thing u needed which was great for my small family with little things here and there. I cant wait to return enjoy the awesome property again.

A great place for a weekend retreat! Two moms and two sons had a great time! Fenced in backyard was perfect for two little guys to roam free. We walked to the quiet beach. House was clean and had lots of handy supplies. We would definitely come back!

We could not have ask for a better place to stay while visiting my son and his girlfriend. He's going to school at Southern in Long Beach. Because they live in a dorm setting it was nice to have this space that felt more home like for us to hang out and spend time together. And we did feel right at home on this property! Very well equipped for anything you may want to do. Yard games, beach toys, umbrellas, beautiful porch with swing, grills and fully equipped kitchen! To much to list. This will be where we stay when visiting him. We loved the decor as well.

We spent Labor Day weekend at this property and had a wonderful time. The house is situated about two blocks from a quiet beach. You do have to cross the highway to get there so will most likely drive vs walk. It’s in a quiet neighborhood. The home is very charming and was well equipped with supplies so we didn’t have to bring much with us - toilet paper, condiments, spices, etc- which was a treat. Stephanie is a great host. We hope to visit again soon!
