The house was a great choice for our group of 8- plenty of space to relax, plenty of bedrooms. We loved having space to hang out with the beautiful bar area and large kitchen table.

This home worked out perfectly for our family members who had traveled to Texas for a wedding at The Preserve. We had 8 who stayed and a few others who gathered for our Rehearsal Dinner. It’s a fun space with the tree room, lots of eclectic decor, well equipped kitchen, koi pond, hot tub, and other amenities. Unfortunately we didn’t spend much time outdoors or use the hot tub because the weather was too hot. However early mornings were nice to sit outside and watch the deer come through the yard. Terry, the owner is friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed seeing a light show one evening with amazing lightning and thunder that we’re not used to seeing at our home. It’s a perfect home for a big group to gather. Fortunately there is a nice bedroom on the first level, because the stairs to the upper level are quite steep. Great place!

We booked a long weekend to celebrate my husband and his 3 best friends turning 40. Each guy brought his family. In total we had 8 adults, 5 kids and 1 service dog. There were plenty of towels and dishes for everyone and most importantly there was enough seating in the living room for everyone to hang out (a lot of houses we looked at had 2 regular couches and no other seating) and in the dining room for us to play cards against humanity. Check in was easy and convenient, communicating with terry was incredibly easy and he was so helpful!! Check out was easy as pie as well. The outdoor area and the hot tub were amazing, the house is very close to the lake and a grocery store, we will absolutely be back!! I can't say enough great things about the whole experience, everything went perfectly thanks to Terry.

We are family of 12 (10 adults and 2 kids) and 1 little furry member, a Shih Tzu. This place is a perfect place to call home away from home! The house is absolutely a beautiful and comfortable place to be. Both inside and outside atmosphere are very comforting and relaxing. Had a couple of downside but it is fixable knicks and Mr. Terry, the host had quickly response and fixed it. Overall, we had a great time and definitely not the first and last booking we do to this wonderful home away from home.

We loved the house! It was very clean and spacious.
The sunsets from the balcony were breath taking! Waking up in the mornings and seeing deer in the back yard was awesome. We booked it for my sons senior trip and they had an amazing time. I can’t wait to rent it again.

This weekend we celebrated the life of my beautiful sis-n-law that was taken way too soon, my nieces 21st birthday, moms 68th and Mother’s Day. The house was perfect for everything we wanted to do from singing karaoke and barbecuing to having a seafood boil and watching the sunset. The weather cleared up enough just in time for us to float the River, enjoy the hot tub, relax on the hammock and play a few outside games. Highly recommend!!

The house is beautiful on a very clean piece of property tucked away for just the right amount of privacy. We used it for our wedding party to stay at and it was perfect. We would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a great stay at this house, it was a couples trip and we all has a nice place to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils/pans we needed. My favorite part was all the backyard space! Firepit was huge and we had plenty of room to spread out.

This property served our large group well. No lake access, but you can see a beautiful view of the lake just a short walk down the road, or on the amazing second floor deck. The best part was that the owner was so easy to deal with and answered any questions so quickly.

We rented this beautiful home for the weekend for a joint bachelor/bachelorette River float and the house was amazing! Mr. Terry made the whole process easy and was so friendly! We will def be staying here again in the future!

Wonderful Vacay!
Every year a large group of our friends get together for my husband's birthday. This house is by far our favorite that we have stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice. It is large and open. It fit 14 of us perfectly. The owner Terry was very pleasant to talk to and responded very promptly. The view from the upper deck was wonderful. 10/10 recommend this house for large parties!

The pictures look grate but once your there it's truly amazing, every one that attended had a nice time and gave good compliments. Living room was so relaxing ,Awsome patio and grate view of the lake. Host was very helpful with everything.

This place was amazing!! It accommodated our group perfectly! We will certainly be back soon. One thing to know is this house is tucked away behind the trees and can easily be missed, especially if you’re arriving at night, in the dark. But, the view from the deck with the hot tub makes up for it!

Beautiful home, fantastic views
The home was spectacular. Set in a secluded wooded setting, you had privacy for outdoor activities while the views from the upper deck were spectacular. Lots of room to spread out but still felt cozy. Perfect big dining table for our group of 12. Fireplace inside kept us warm while a fire pit and games outside kept us going.
The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals and the bluetooth speaker for our phones kept us in the mood while we played games at one small table and worked a puzzle on the other. Everyone had a very memorable holiday. Thank you Terry.

Looking glass Dream in the woods
The looking glass house was so much better than the pictures! I truly was blown away by the cleanliness and the amenities provided. Terry is awesome with answering any questions. I only wish there was a walking path to the water, but Terry did let me know that it would be a short drive, and that it was. The wildlife did NOT disappoint! We saw baby deer, grey fox, a parrot (not sure what kind) and my niece swears she saw a bobcat! The balcony is a readers dream!! It was so nice to wake up before everyone else and read my devotional out there alone soaking in nature. Overall experience was awesome 🥰

We loved the property location and amenities. Excellent for large family gathering. Close to beautiful Canyon Lake and short drive to day campground we enjoyed along the Guadalupe. Close to very nice Brookshire Bros grocery for your needs. Several eateries not far. Our family of 13 enjoyed comfortable accommodations, inside and outside. Kitchen had everything you need. Enough tables for all to dine together. Plenty of linens and great washer/dryer. Kids loved feeding the gentle deer that wandered through the backyard. Plenty of parking. Private. Great wifi. We all agreed that the home would be a great place to gather again.
