Enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning from the dock! Large property with a lot of space inside and out for the whole family. Cabin was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was especially equipped, plus plenty of board games available for use in the cabin.

This property is just what we were looking for! Perfect outdoor area and shallow lake was nice with little kids with. Kitchen was perfectly stocked with essentials plus more and the games available to play was a great bonus! Highly recommend this property! Bar was across the driveway but we did not hear any noise from the location.

Amazed on how well equipped the kitchen was. All the extras they had for us to use. Games, outdoor games, lifevest for people that forgot them, outdoor chairs. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Looking forward to next year.

Lake was great for our kayaks and used the available paddleboat. Caught some small panfish from the dock. Saw/heard the local loon often. Beds were comfortable, nice reading materials were there including local history. It is quite close/directly across from the Murmuring Waters lodge, the lodges lakefront is directly next door. Generally not too disruptive, they close at 11pm and are closed on wednesdays.

The one down side we found is there is no dishwasher. I don’t know if it’s planed to put one in. Just a thought. It would be helpful especially with large group of people. Also, the knives in the kitchen are dull. We had our own. Overall, amazing stay. Would love to visit in summer.

Plenty of space for the group. Only complaint was pillows were a bit lumpy, otherwise property was in great condition.

The door facing the water does not lock very well and the screen door is broken. The downstairs carpeting needs to be cleaned. They need to provide newer pots, pans and silverware along with a new coffee maker. We liked the house being on the water so we could keep our boat docked. One thing they don't really tell you is that there is a bar located on the other side of the road. When we questioned Hiller Vacation Homes they said it is a quiet bar that serves food and is closed by 11. The bar is actually quite busy and doesn't close by 11. We were mostly on the lake side of the house so the noise is blocked by the house.

We had space for everyone, the dock and yard, sandbox and firepit were all great hits. Close enough to St Germain that if you needed something your could make a run. We cooked in each night, used paper plates since there is no Dishwasher. But seating for everyone and well stocked kitchen. Great supply of outdoor chairs and life jackets (including kids sizes) already at the house. We would probably rent again if we choose that area again.

Nice cottage for all ages. kids and adults enjoyed the water and the cottage. A suggestion would be to replace the double size mattresses as they were pretty uncomfortable in all of the bedrooms. Easy fix to make the stay more enjoyable.

Although the house was clean, the throw rugs were torn on an edge and the picnic table is in need of paint. Called the office several times on arrival as had not been given instructions on using the electronic lock; did find those instructions in the binder. The number of bed spaces was listed on the website as 10 in one place and 14 in another. There was only silverware for 8 people. Kitchen towels had not been left for us. Would have liked directions for using the internet TV. Info on garbage disposal differed from binder and a posted sign.

Reviewer Comments: I believe in good reviews so after a medically difficult year for our daughter and myself -8 surgeries we had 1st vacation in 10 years, we invited my mom, our kids and grandkids, special memory. We were greeted by deer and realized cabin is in a bar parking lot, but not a problem. We checked in online arriving later with small kids. Different locks and could not get in but one call to HILLER and they explained, could not get in screen (stupid me) and HILLER came right out. NOTE: no washer, dryer hard when you have to BYOT for a week with kids and 9 people on a lake. NO dishwasher which I was told there was. They have lifevests & extra lawn chairs, told they did not have these and had to fit in cars! House is enough room for 9, baths are nice, décor nice. Large sandbox and swing!! Mattresses very noisy, uncomfortable and therefore not meant for a good rest. NO TV IN THIS HOME! The TVs are there but no services, no antenna, hard on rainy days and mosquito filled nights. 3 days to get a PASSWORD which did not work. UGH! On first day, hubby stung by bee, we noticed many bees coming from the wood deck. Not good with small kiddos. Could not go out back door only out front by bar, walk around to lake. Hiller had someone come but they missed the bees as we were in town. Hiller sent someone back out, and he had to pull up the deck pieces found many bee holes and a huge nest underneath and one on house. Bees still around next day. Hiller offered to move us but with 9 people big problem and 2 options not good fit. I felt bad as I had dreamed of this vaca with my family for ever and some of these things were frustrating and took the fun out. Had to spend a lot of time somewhere else. Hopefully the owner reads and considers what I wrote and makes some adj. Hiller I think did a good job getting people out right away one gal in that office was super empathetic, I just feel like our vacation was for sure not what we dreamed of for money spent
