Very very spacious house. Great terace. Well equipped (washing machine, microvawe,....) Good location for climbing (cargs Ghost Kitched, Skalia behind the house).

There is no AC! During our stay it was really hot and we stayed outside the house almost all day. Because cooking during the day worsen the situation :(. The owner said that plans to install the AC. I do not recommend for hot summer days. So check if there is AC before booking for the summer. If the house will have the AC is a 10/10. Sometimes the goats woke us up eary in the morning.

Nice place with beautiful garden, very quite and with a lot of space inside and outside. Perfect for family with children or for people looking for peacefull holiday.

Villa Skalia is an absolutely fantastic house located in the quiet village of Skalia. As climbers, the location was perfect for us, being close to multiple crags. The house is fully equipped and only a 5 minute walk to the water. Maria was also a great host and helped us with all our needs. We definitely recommend staying here and you will get a lot of value for your money!

Perhaps it is uncommon to have air conditioning in houses on Kalymnos but we found that it got very warm in the house, especially at night time, since there is no air conditioning. The two bedrooms do have fans in the ceiling but we still had trouble sleeping due to the heat, also being August we expect this is normal. However, it would not harm if there were a couple of extra fans in the bedrooms.

very large house + massive garden on 3 floors. Good internet (good enough for remote work), kitchen is perfect, has bbq :) very good location if u want to climb in the northern sectors of the island. Decent restaurants in Emporios. Walking access to one of the best wild beaches ive seen in Kalymnos. The house keeps cool even on very warm days. Mosquito nets everywhere!!
