Nestled in Hilo, this lovely house for R 14,275 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Two bedrooms and 2 baths with the lower level being a large bedroom with two queen beds and bath. Separate entry to lower level. The highlight of this location is Richardson's Beach Park. One of only a few places one can safely enter the ocean in the Hilo area. Perhaps the best snorkeling you will ever find. Protected swimming and snorkeling areas with lifeguards on the South side of Hilo Bay. One of 6 stops for the "Hop on Hop off" bus. It's a tourist destination. Home to many Green Sea turtles. Across the street are small black sand beaches. Downtown Hilo is just 3.5 miles down the ocean road. Road ends just 100 yards farther. The living rooms, kitchens, dining areas, and master bedrooms have unobstructed ocean views.. Homes can be rented together for larger families or groups traveling together Both homes are located in the town of Hilo, just 5 miles from the airport. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area. 3. Guest vehicles shall be parked within the designated onsite parking area. 4. Failure to comply with the Good Neighbor policy states above will be construed to be a violation. 5. No commercial events shall take place at the property. Available year round for nightly, weekly, and extended stays.

This property was located right across the street from Richardson's Beach. It was heavenly listening to the waves crash all day and night. We had plenty of room for our family of 11.

The two houses were perfect for our family. The setup exceptionally well-outfitted for water sports and enjoyment. We didn't take full advantage of the boards and kayaks, but they were there. We did enjoy the masks, snorkel, boogie boards, water shoes and chairs. And the umbrellas! Although beautiful, it does rain a lot in Hilo in the winter.

Great place and location. Owner was amazing to work with. Only drawback was that the oven didn’t work well so took us forever to bake some meals and then ended up moving our food to another oven.

The houses are in a great area close yo the beach. Plenty of room for all our family to stay. The house had so many amenities and we did not have to buy any ocean stuff and toys! Would definitely stay here again!

Location is amazing! Great for multiple families as we used together for a celebration of life for uncle Hank! There are lots of Fun things for the beach like standup paddleboard, boogie boards, noodles, snorkeling gear, and beach toys to name a few… Upon check in I realize I did not have property code and 10 o’clock our time, I found Richard the property managers number, which he answered in the middle of the night their time, to get us in house I thank him so very very much. House is pretty weather as it is an older beach house but that’s a part of the character of the place… We would totally stay again if we need a place to accommodate all the family… We had some priceless memories and good times! The house had everything we needed to enjoy a family vacation. We all went snorkeling every day. It was so nice to enjoy the ocean breeze while having breakfast or dinner in the lanai with family.

This was a beautiful two house property located right across the street from the water. Our group was 13 people, lots of couples and 4 grown kids, plus a cousin and uncle, all celebrating my mother in law's 80th birthday. Everyone got a bed, only 2 or 3 had to share a room, and it was wonderful to be able to host family dinners every night. We had an issue with the oven and Richard was super responsive and attempted to get it resolved quickly. The grill at Surfside works great, fyi, lol! Richard is going add some motion lights and pave paths between houses, so older folks can more easily cross between them, until then, heads up for roots! Lots of water toys and snorkeling gear available, laundry soap, HUGE washing machines and dryers, just a beautiful and relaxing place for larger groups. You cannot beat the view, and the cleaner even dropped off extra TP when she came to check the oven (we just hadn't hit the store yet, lol!) I cannot recommend these houses enough, super close to Hilo and easy access to the airport and points west. Or go up the coast if you want!

We had 8 in our group ages 60 to 85 and rented both houses. The set up and location of the homes was great. We sat every morning and had coffee looking across the street at the ocean! We all said how these houses were us. We had everything needed and the landscaping of plants and trees was gorgeous.

Both homes were very spacious and well stocked. The view to the park/beach across the street was beautiful and the landscaping was also. We learned that most homes in Hilo, including this one, don’t have air conditioning so that was a surprise, and the homes are older and have some wear and tear. They did have tons of ocean toys/floats, bikes, snorkel gear, etc that we wish we would have had more time to enjoy!

Getting a place to comfortably house 16 people of varying ages and handicaps is always difficult, but this rental was every thing it advertised to be and more. Not at all touristy and in normal town instead of hotel row. We enjoyed every minute of the stay and we'd recommend it to anyone.
