About this house rental
Located in Lake Lanier, this charming house for RĀ 4,995 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Although 'Fishing and Wishing' is located just an hour North of Atlanta, off of Ga 400, and 15 minutes from Dahlonega, it has the feel of a secluded hideaway! The master bedroom, with a king size bed, is located on the main floor along with the kitchen, dining room and den. Two guest rooms and a full bathroom are located upstairs, one with a queen bed and another with two twins and one queen size bed. Downstairs features a pool table and another full bathroom and a guest room with two twin beds, along with a laundry room complete with washer and dryer. TVs are available on both floors with DVD players and VCRs. The upper and lower deck of the lake house look out on our deep water cove of the Chestatee River. The double slip dock is brand new and ready for you to relax with a fishing rod or enjoy the many features of North Georgia including, wine tastings, white water rafting, hiking and golfing. The shoppers of your group will love the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall, all 140 stores!

Your house was such a lovely and relaxing getaway! The dock was so gorgeous and easy to access! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The outdoor furniture was really great all over as well as near a lovely fire-pit! Great job, thanks for having us!

Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and trash bags and dishwasher soap
Plenty of regular towels!
Two kayaks and several life jackets available for us to use

I mean it when I say that this is in the top two rental homes Iāve stayed at. There wasnāt one thing that we thought, āMan, I wish they hadā¦ā and we didnāt find it ready and waiting. It was super clean, slept 10 people comfortably, and the dock and cove were top notch.

We have a wonderful time at your home.. The boys loved running down to the dock, and and going up-and-down stairs.. On Easter evening we had a marshmallow roast, I think that was the hit of the weekend. Thank you so much for a really wonderful place to stay and be with family.

We had a blast! The house was great, well outfitted, and plenty of room for all. We caught a ton of spots! Quite a few just off the dock. It was a great time and a great place to stay!!

Our group found everything we needed for our three night stay. Plenty of room, linens, cookware, dinnerware, parking, and view for the 10 of us. The host was very accommodating. It was a great place to stay for the price. We will stay there again if it is available when we return to Dawsonville.

Property is exactly as described and worth your time! Owners are great to work with and figure out any issues very quickly. The lake view is great, loved this place more than our other rental in Helen,GA as I found that town to be insanely noisy and superficial compared to this area. This is a real getaway but still close to all amenities.

Beautiful wooded setting with well maintained cabin and excellent amenities. My adult sons loved the lighted two story dock where we fished night and day. Also enjoyed the downstairs pool room, complete with cable television for the games. Excellent working kitchen with cooking supplies like it was your own home. All beds were comfortable and an unexpectedly elegant master bath with jetted soaking tub and separate shower. The hosts were very responsive and kind. We will return:)

My wife and I needed a relaxing vacation spot that was still close to plenty of fun activities. This house delivered for both! Reading our books on the dock was super peaceful, and also made me wish I had a boat to park there. The interior was super accommodating and we felt at home right away. The pool table was perfect for rainy days when we preferred to stay in. Highly recommend for couples and families of all sizes.

The property was exactly as advertised. The area is quiet and while the neighbors were visible, it still felt quite secluded. The house itself is 3 stories and spacious. Nine of us slept comfortably and never felt like we were getting in each other's way. The lake was wonderful; while the fishing wasn't fantastic, we caught several bass and a sunfish over the weekend. Communications with our hosts was flawless and they had everything ready to go when we arrived. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet with lake fun thrown in.

Such a great experience overall! The owners were super responsive and kind, the home was immaculately clean, and the dock was so nice. Easy walk from house to dock (unlike many other Lanier homes), the home was stocked with plenty of everything we needed, and the space was great for our group. Beds also super comfy. Would highly recommend!

We totally enjoyed our stay with extended family . The house is great choice for families , especially w/ basement. The house is well equipped . The dock is very nice & we parked our boat there. We really liked the Chesatee area & hope to return .

The dock, firepit & upper deck were the highlights of our stay! Fantastic view! Be prepared for lots of stairs if their are older adults in your group. There were serious cleanliness issues, some of which the Property Manager promptly addressed (& we appreciated). However, this property needs a total deep clean from top to bottom & that's why we only gave it 3 stars.

We loved our stay! Fun time for all ages. Beautiful location right on the water. We enjoyed fishing, the fire pit, and playing pool! Thank you for the duraflame log and the smore kit! We'd book it again!

This is a wonderful property for families. We had three generations staying together. From the large master bedroom and bath on the main level to the private lower level (with area for teens and/or children plus bedroom and bath) and lofted bedroom area (with two bedrooms and a bath), this home offers something for everyone. The kitchen is perfect and well equipped. The lake can be viewed from every room. The fire pit provided entertainment on several evenings and we spent late afternoon/evenings on the floating dock. Incredible hiking in the north Georgia mountains nearby. For runners/walkers, the neighborhood loop provides a safe course. Communication with the owners was efficient. We spent a week and I am hopeful we can return again!
