Overall, we enjoyed our month long stay and would love to come back someday. What we liked: * Oceanfront - amazing to wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean * Spacious home in a quiet community. * 5-10 minute walk to a nice beach. What could have been better: * Feels more like a rental apartment rather than a home. Could use some TLC. Not very well stocked (e.g. no propane, no shampoo, no soap, no extra toilet paper). * Limited privacy within the community itself and the beach in front of the house. Community - since it’s a townhome with shared amenities (including the backyard and pool); all the neighbors were super nice though. The beach in front of the house is very close to a public access walkway, so who you get as your neighbors for a given day can be a bit of a gamble; for example, during our month long stay, there were two nights when large and very loud groups partied literally in front of the house past midnight.

Second time staying at this property - loved it as much as the first time! Perfect house for a laid-back family vacation. We love the neighborhood, the backyard, the pool, and the beach right in front of the house. Listing pictures should be updated, as there have been some improvements and updates to the property since the pics were taken. Things that need to be addressed: 1. All of the ceiling fans need to be fully replaced, not just repaired. The fans are old and the motors are starting to reach the end of their life. We had to get a repair man out to the house, which was annoying and inconvenient. They got fixed, but we didn't really want to have to deal with a hot house while we waited a few days for the fix. Since this property doesn't have AC, fully functional ceiling fans are CRUCIAL to a comfortable stay. 2. A lot of the cooking equipment needs to be replaced - appliances are fine though. It was not the easiest cooking experience. All of the pans were very warped and almost none of the knives were sharp enough to cut anything. More annoying than an issue - there were two sizes of bowls - extremely large or extremely small. We always had to use excessively large bowls. Things that would be awesome to add: 1. AC for the bedrooms. Small window units that you could turn only when needed would be perfect! Without the trade winds, it's too hot! 2. Blinds for the windows. The windows all have sheer curtains, but no blinds to keep out the sunlight. Not too terrible since you get to enjoy sunrise every morning, but would be nice to have the option to sleep later.

We had such a great time in Hawaii! This home was very nice and was as advertised. It sits right on the beach but is not a great swimming beach for kids due to the rocky reef that it sits on. Great swimming beaches are not far, so that was not a huge deal. There was plenty of room for our family of 7 and it was clean. The inside does feel a little bit like a rental property but we were mostly only there at night to sleep. It is in close proximity to a ton of things to do and places to visit. The neighborhood is nice and it was nice to be in a gated community. We would definitely book this home again given the same circumstances and will recommend it to other family and friends that are looking for a great Hawaiian experience. We will miss LuiBuenos Restaurant in Haleiwa and you definitely need to get some coconut peanut butter from North Shore Goodies! Camille was easy to get hold of and resolve any issues we had at the house. Thank you Camille!
