The town pretty much shuts down by 8pm. One place closes the kitchen an hour before closing the doors. Another place, every time we went they were closed. We attempted going to the pub on Front Street; gal behind the bar gave us a once-over and said, “I’ll get to ya when I get to ya.” Town is pretty much 1-1/2 hours from everything. I’d get groceries and make all meals, otherwise, you’ll be hungry! Best thing to do in town? Walk the rail trail. It was pretty!
Accommodations were great! Town, not so much.

We stayed in Belfast for almost a week, to visit our son and his fiancee. This apartment has everything that we need, all on a single floor. The front wall of windows overlooks the river as well as. the local businesses on the Main Street with all of the people coming and going. Delightful!!
The only issue noted is with check-in: we arrived after dark. We found the parking lot easily, but in the parking lot we saw only signs that said that there was no entrance permitted to the condos. We finally realized that we had to leave the parking lot and walk down the street to the next entrance in order to enter the condos too. A map or advance warning would have helped a lot.
At the room door, the entry code was 10 digits long and one of the essential digit keys was sticky, so it was challenging to enter the code successfully.
These deficiencies are easy to correct and would help to make a stay at this apartment completely ideal.

This is a very nice property in a great location, but several minor inconveniences make us believe it is not being managed well.
1) Door code did not work upon arrival. Had to call the service number (pretty sure it was answered off shore) to get a working code.
2) The instruction sheet in the binder does not match the property. One example - "take the trash can all the way to the end of the driveway." There is no driveway!
3) Bath towels were sub-standard. Reminded us of summer camp.
4) Finicky hot water heater. Sometimes we had enough to take a hot shower. Sometimes we did not.
Again, this is a very nice property. Every issue we encountered was a minor inconvenience, but the sum of these issues caused an overall level of frustration that could have been avoided with a more professional focus on customer service.
I passed all of our comments to Vacasa at checkout. They informed me they would "create a service ticket". Perhaps the experience will be better in the future.

enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located condo with a nice view of the town and the bay. The unit had all the amenities and the king bed was comfortable. The AC needed some effort to figure out but then worked fine.

This condo has the best location, looking out on the streets of Belfast and being able to watch the tides come and go. Constant entertainment, and amazingly quiet and peaceful, all at the same time. The condo is quite luxurious, great bedroom, bed very comfortable, the whole space is amazingly beautiful, comfortable, and we can't wait to return! The private courtyard was another factor that made this such a special place. Location is perfect. Close to the shipyard, which is unique and one of a kind! The harbor trail and the pedestrian bridge should not be missed.

Condo is lovely! Furniture is comfortable. Bed is comfortable. A/C works well. The door lock is a problem! I would love to rent again but will need a key to enter the condo. There were several ceiling lights out that need to be replaced and the lights are dim. Poor lighting in the hallway leading to the condo. Very clean!!!!

We have stayed at this property previously when it was a B&B. This is our first stay since it has been offered as a VRBO and we were very pleased. We were in the 3rd floor apartment overlooking main street with the Juliet balcony which was great for seeing the thunder storm that came through our first night. Full kitchen and laundry were a welcome amenity as we were on nights 10 through 12 of a 14 night trip from NY to Maine. Highly recommend this location if you are planning a trip to Belfast!

Beautiful condo with a fantastic location in downtown. We parked our car and did not use it again until the day we left. Great co-op across the street for groceries. We loved watching the town/people from the Juliet balcony. The condo had everything we needed for our extended weekend. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the restaurants and stores we visited in town, as well as the rail trail and multiple food trucks. We will be back.

It's only because we have stayed in this building before that we could gain building entry. No exterior door code was provided. Then we had to enter a 10!!! digit code to gain access to the apartment. As we were moving our things in, we got locked out as it appears the touchpad entry battery failed. We then had a slow motion ~30minute interchange with customer service who obviously had no details about where we were staying (walk around the building, do you see a lockbox?). They ultimately directed us to an armoire in the common hall to look for a lockbox. The armoire was filled with dirty laundry (yuck), but we braved through it finding nothing. It was only through my husband's careful search of every other furniture option in the common space that we found the lockbox. Customer service also did not provide us the lockbox code - fortunately it too was the code we had used on a prior stay. Finally got back in, but then had only one key for 2 of us for the rest of our stay - really not acceptable. At bedtime, we found the bed had been made with a fitted sheet, then a quilt (without duvet or topsheet), with a sheet on top. Had to unmake/ remake the bed to not have the quilt directly on our skin. Again, really not acceptable. The dishwasher doesn't seem to work, so many of the dishes in the cabinet have old food dried onto them, and you have to check dishes as you empty the dishwasher to not put away dirty dishes. This seems like new BAD mgmt of the property.

The condo was very comfortable in downtown Belfast. Quiet open and bright during the daylight. Very clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. 2 complaints. Night time lighting very poor and the TV in the bedroom direct TV did not work. Both could be easily resolved. I have scheduled another visit this summer.

Check in is supposed to be at 4 but nobody came to clean until we called and complained. The cleaner wasn’t done until after 5.
The air conditioning in the bedroom didn’t work. We left emails but nothing was done. I slept on the couch in the living room because the bedroom was too hot. That’s definitely not how I planned to spend my vacation!
The place itself was nice but I’d definitely think twice before using Vacasa again. They don’t seem very customer-oriented.

It was soooo nice. A perfect spot and Belfast is a beautiful town to wonder in and shop. No need to ever use your car for great food and shops. The walking trails along the water front were great as well!

This place is by far the best located hotel in Belfast. Huge and comes with the size, kitchen, living room you get from an Airbnb while also getting many of the comforts of hotel amenities. Parking directions were weird, just tell people to google map the co-op and that the parking lot is across the street from there!

Very spacious and comfortable, perfect location, very well appointed, had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The elevator was appreciated! Easy, convenient parking. Harbor just a short walk away, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended!

My husband and I rented the condo because he had to be in Belfast for work. It was clean, spacious and has lots of light in the main room. I worked remotely from the condo and had good internet for video calls, etc. This is the second time we have rented this same unit.
The location makes it easy to walk anywhere in downtown Belfast. The Co-op next door is very handy as well. Great farmer's market on Saturdays and the walking path along the water is one of the nicest I have been on.

AIr Conditioning worked intermittently. Building Door code changed halfway through our stay without being notified. Tried to call property manager. Did not answer and Voicemail box was full. Finally reached manager via text.

We loved staying at this beautiful Belfast apartment. It was bigger than we thought from the listing, very well decorated and within steps to shops, restaurants, the harbor and the harbor walk. (check out Front Street Boat Yard) We very much enjoyed our stay in Belfast and at this apartment in the heart of town.

The condo is well appointed. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with good lighting, a comfortable bed and plenty of soft towels. The living area had many comfortable chairs, a view of the ocean, a good kitchen area and a table and chairs for eating in. There are many places to eat and stores outside the condo within walking distance, if you want to dine out. The one drawback is the accessibility to the condo. The front entrance has a long staircase to climb and the back entrance must be approached from the parking area in the next door lot. When you are managing luggage, there is no place to drive up to and leave your luggage and then go and park you car. In the rain it can be even more difficult. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

The property was spotless and very comfortable. Location in Belfast couldn't be better. Coffee and muffins at Chase each morning and the Coop out the back door. Dinner at Delvino's was delicious and just out the front door. We'll be back! And the bed was very comfortable.

This property is absolutely beautiful- you will be wowed from the moment you open the door! The layout and furnishings create the perfect refuge from long days of hiking and exploring the Maine coast. Yes- there is an elevator- easily accessed through the rear entrance which is close to the provided parking area. Kitchen is well equipped, but lacked washing up equipment (dish cloth or sponge). The bathroom includes a washer and dryer with (thank you) unscented laundry detergent, and premium soaps and shampoo. A huge bedroom includes a sitting area and supremely comfortably king bed made up with excellent linens. During our visit, the bedroom television Roku worked for the first night only- would have been nice to relax in bed with a movie after a long day of hiking. The living room television seems to be on a different, more limited cable system. Living room windows overlook the Main Street of Belfast with a good view of Traci’s Diner and the Oldest Shoe Store in America :-). There is a local coop directly across the street from the parking area with a solid selection of foods. Delvino’s is an excellent restaurant choice for dinner just a few doors down. And Young’s Lobster Pound is just across the Passagassawakeag River. The river name rolled off our tongues by the end of the week, although my wife, for convenience, shortened the name to Passagassa. So, other than a few cobwebs, no washing up mitt, and broken Roku, we could not have made a better choice and look forward to visiting again!
