Mullaway Beach Holiday Cabins are a unique and magical get-away. You'll feel yourself relax as you enter your peaceful cabin built under beautiful paperbark trees with a view to a private yard and beyond that an expansive lush reserve with a window to the ocean to check the surf. ALL JUST METERS TO THE BEACH! PLANTATION offers a luxurious and spacious holiday experience. This cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably with one double bed, two single bunks and a double sofa bed. Extra amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with 4 burner gas stove, an indoor 3 piece bathroom, an outdoor hot shower, large flat screen TV, WIFI, laundry facilities, reverse cycle air conditioning and your choice of 2 private decks with lush garden surrounds. We welcome you to share our fresh herbs and garden produce. A top of the range BBQ can be enjoyed in the outdoor “dining” room with its rustic table setting, wood fireplace and organic garden. With a window to the ocean you can check the surf in the mornings and go to sleep with the sound of it at night. Paradise ! Your boardwalk access direct to Cabins Beach brings you to an unpopulated beach expanse with rock pools, wonderful walks and great swimming, body and board surfing. An afternoon spent reading a book from our "take a book, leave a book" library brings you a rare and private luxury . Perhaps lounging indoors surfing the NET with our free wireless is more your thing. Why choose? Do both! Kangaroos, kookaburras, goannas, black cockatoos and tawny frog mouths are just some of the wildlife that can be seen from your cabin. Our smaller cabin, 7TH HEAVEN, offers 1 queen bed, sleeping 2. It also has a private bathhouse, good cooking facilities with a stove, microwave, an excellent BBQ under a covered deck and a full-sized fridge. Also included are a Television, a DVD player and free wireless internet. Mullaway Cabins are the original cabins known by locals as a popular holiday destination for more than 50 years. Located only 20 minutes north of Coffs Harbour, Mullaway offers several unpopulated and easily accessed beaches for swimming, surfing and fishing. Beach breaks at Mullawarra and Mullaway beaches as well as Cabins and Darkum beaches suit all levels of board enthusiasts. Scuba diving and kayaking, cycling and hiking, it's all here. Bedding was really not suitable for two adults - bunks would be appropriate for children, but very uncomfortable for an adult. We arrived in heavy rain and had trouble warming the cabin.

Plantation is heaven. It's beautifully appointed and very comfortable, located amid sub-tropical ferns, banana trees and paperbarks in quiet Mullaway. Kangaroos and kookaburras drop by most days, and a friendly pod of dolphins joined me in the surf at the adjacent Cabins Beach one afternoon. For a quiet, relaxed holiday, Plantation is unbeatable.

Our 3rd visit to this coastal paradise, many beaches on the doorstep suitable for swimming, fishing, sightseeing and walking our 2 small dogs. Cabins are delightful and are a strong contributor to the relaxed atmosphere from day 1. Hosts are lovely with tips on places to eat / see, and an extensive herb garden should you wish to prepare something on-site.

This has surely been our favourite stay through Stayz. It was perfectly relaxing with everything we need and great neighbours and beaches at our finger tips. If you want cafes, shops, pubs, and all things like home, don't come to Mullaway. This is the perfect place to get away from it all.

The location was brilliant-do close to the beautiful beaches and walks, we saw wildlife.
The house was beautiful- all the beautiful personal touches the welcome sign, the yummy slice that was left for us, the beautiful flowers in each room. The beers in the fridge.
It was an amazing stay- we will return

Cabin had everything and more.. Cot set up, heater on! High chair! Could not of wanted for anything more but maybe a longer stay. These guys have got it !!

Just having our personal welcome at the front door with fresh flowers inside and 2 home made pieces of slice for our cuppa made us feel special. Pete our puppy absolutely loved the beach which we visited 3 times in our short stay where we collected shells and sponges which is hard to do at the popular beach resorts. We will be back again for the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Thank you

Great Family Holiday with the kids
Staying at the Plantation was the most unique personal experience we have ever had. Just having our personal welcome at the front door with fresh flowers inside and 2 home made pieces of slice for our cuppa made us feel special. Pete our puppy absolutely loved the beach which we visited 3 times in our short stay where we collected shells and sponges which is hard to do at the popular beach resorts. We will be back again for the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Thank you

I recently stayed with my family on a two night stay on our way back from Sydney to Gold Coast .Stopping over to recoup and revive after my daughters surgery. Firstly,I am from a hospitality management and trainer background,it borders on impossible to please me ,but after having stayed in 5 star acc in Sydney cbd ,which was highly disappointing. W o w ,rosemary,I was completely blown away with the attention to detail you have provided.I was able to cook beautiful meals and a cake if I wanted ,the home grown produce ,beautiful slice you provided,was a welcome respite after a very tumultuous week .Iswear my daughter arrived beaten and bruised but left upbeat walking and halved her pain meds within two days .There is an ambience at Mullaway ,peaceful and so welcoming,I was even impressed with the corner store ,which provided us with excellent value for money dinner as well as old school 10c lollies all round.My personal favourite touch was the ground coffee and French press ,what a godsend .Freshly picked bouquets from your garden ,beautiful bath products .The list goes on ,we have pocketfuls of beach treasures ,which reminds me The Beach ,how gorgeous to have an almost secluded beach 10 mins from Coffs Harbour .As well as a decent beach town in Woolgoolga.I could keep waffling ,which is soooo not me ,especially when it comes to hospitality,nine times out of ten it is a high paid opinion on what your doing wrong !
But Thank You Rosemary you have exceeded my expectations and I needed to reciprocate in kind by letting people know .Plantation Cabins is our new family vacation spot from now on

Such a gorgeous little hidden gem. We have two dogs and they loved the coastal walks (as did we!) accommodation was small and compact but perfect for two nights. Well equipped with some lovely personal touches. If possible we would love to return.

Amazing stay
Counting down the days until we visit Mullaway Cabins again. Perfect weekend away, but next time we will stay longer. Cabin is beautifully designed and Mullaway is a peaceful coastal town located not far from Coffs Harbour. We even had the beach to ourselves.
Highly recommend.

We LOVED our stay at the Mullaway cabins so much! My girls (12 & 13) are so in love with the actual cabin they've asked us to build one on our farm. Our cabin was cosy, beautifully decorated, clean & had everything you could need. The hosts left lovely welcoming gifts and we can't wait to come back. Thankyou so much :)

Brilliant cabin and location
Although our stay was short it was exactly what we were after, some where that was relaxing and homely. The dogs LOVED it. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest we still had a fantastic 2 days. We will definitely be back

Relaxing stay
We all enjoyed our stay at Mullaway, we loved all the personal touches like the greeting notice with all our names, the welcome drinks in the fridge and the homemade slice, which makes this place so special. The property joins the beach which we had to ourselves most of the time, very quiet spot, so relaxing and dog friendly.

This quaint little cabin stay was something to remember! We loved the rustic, beachy feel and the personalised touches. We were greeted with a home made slice.

Most Wecoming Accomodation Ever!!
From the minute we arrived and were welcomed by Beth, we knew we booked the perfect place! The little touches like the personalised welcome sign (that included even our puppy Rocky!), the plate of freshly baked slices and the thoughtful selection of goodies in the fridge! Fresh Fowers were a lovely touch and Even beach towels were provided! Cosy, Comfy And Clean!
We definitely plan to be back!!

Stylish, clean and affordable
My dogs and I loved our short stay in the Plantation Cabin. So close to the dog-friendly beach, the cabin was beautifully decorated and quite luxurious at an affordable price. It was the little details that merit an excellent score - cleanliness, welcome sign (including dogs names), baked goodies and advice on where to get the best fish and chips of all time.

A very cosy haven
Plantation is perfectly-located and beautifully-appointed. It is close to the beach and a grassy reserve, and the furniture and decorations are comfortable, functional and fun. The cabin is very-well designed and had everything I needed. The rustic timber floors are dog-friendly, the bed really comfy, the shower a dream and the kitchen garden and curious kangaroos very welcome surprises. I loved it.

What a gem!
Wonderful stay at this gem of a property. Such attention to detail and a hidden treasure next to the beach at Mullaway. We will be staying here again and wished we could have stayed longer this time. The ideal place to get away from the usual frenetic pace and chill out in this quiet hamlet. Plantation cabin is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Thanks for welcoming us and a special thanks from our dog Tommy!
