About this house rental
Nestled in Hyannis, this attractive house for R 9,082 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. We're located on Ocean Street and it's a quick easy walk to two beaches: 1/10 mile to Veteran's Beach and 2/10 mile to Kalmus Beach. With over 2,200 square feet our large rooms makes it great for family reunions and shoulder season golf type weekends. The large main living room has a 65'' tv with plenty of seating on the 3 sofas. The kitchen is between the living room and dining room where many also use the large table for card and board games. Don't forget the two games rooms where many bragging rights have been earned competing on the full size slate pool table, commercial air hockey or Foosball. The floor plan gives you plenty of privacy for an extended family. The first floor ensuite master bedroom has a queen bed and tv. The other first floor bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bath across the hall. Or choose one of the upstairs suites. Both the North Wing and South Wing are mirror images of the other and the layout works well for families as they are each closed off from the other. Once you enter your private suite you have a large living room with sofa, tv and in the alcove is a full futon; both your queen bedroom and full bath are each located off the living room. Many have enjoyed the stone patio for a bbq using the gas grill and eating on the picnic tables. Others have enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting and reading a book in the chairs or starting their day with coffee to watch the sunrise or after a busy day having a drink watching the sunset. We've even replaced the front bushes with hydrangeas that are so familiar to Cape Cod. Veterans Beach (1/10 mile) is located next to Hyannis Yacht Club, Kennedy Memorial, and the Korean Memorial and has a nice picnic area with grills, picnic tables, a new playground, and an inlet for children to catch critters with pail and net. Kalmus Beach is great for swimming, has a volleyball net, and is known for windsurfing and also has a snack bar and both beaches have bathroom facilities. If you are interested in visiting our other local beaches, a laminated 'landlord' beach pass is provided allowing one vehicle free parking at all town beaches, ponds and lakes. We are located close to a variety of places to explore. Only 7/10 mile away you can take in the beauty of vibrant Hyannis Harbor where you'll find fishing, charter and tour boats, ferry to islands, free entertainment, artisan cottages, harbor master and restaurants. Continue on the ''Walkway to the Sea' one block to downtown to explore numerous restaurants, shops and Kennedy Museum. Or don't forget the Cape Cod Baseball League if you are a baseball fan...you can walk to the Hyannis Harbor Hawks ball field for a classic hometown feel. Each choice is a good one. Walk, drive or check the RTA trolley schedule that passes by the house. The house is close to Hyannisport and the Kennedy Compound, and Hyannis has a movie theater in the Mall, miniature golf, airport and transportation center. Golf is less than 5 miles at Hyannis Country Club. Considered the 'hub' of the Cape, Hyannis is convenient to other sites on the Cape. Our large home comfortably sleeps up to 12 in 4+ bedrooms and 5 full baths. Linens and towels provided; 4 TV's. Games/Books/Cards included for indoor activity; beach chairs/toys and patio chairs. Off street parking for 4 automobiles. For the benefit of all of our guests, we have a No Smoking, No Pets policy. We are located in a residential area and our house is not a party house. The minimum age to book our home is 30 and there must be someone over 30 staying at the property. We live next door to our rental home and would be available should you need us.

The home was spacious for our family of 5 adults and 4 kids. It was clean, plenty of room, many amenities, and perfect for families. Easy walk to beaches and parks. Lots to do in the area. The hosts were most gracious and accommodating! I highly recommend it!

The property was very accommodating for our 10 people and had plenty of bathrooms and showers for all guests. The property was as advertised and the hosts were very easy to deal with and made our stay great. Would recommend booking from this house again.

We had six adults and three kids under 3 in our group and the house was a great setup for us! Each family had their own space and didn’t hear other babies crying during the night. The hosts were a perfect balance of attentive but not intrusive. Communication was easy, the short walk to two beaches meant we didn’t need to use the cars every day, and the location provided easy access to grocery shopping and take out options. Highly recommend this property!

A superb find that comfortably housed two families (four adults & five kids, aged 6 to 15). Clean interior rooms, clean kitchen, well maintained bathrooms made for a great first impression and happy families upon entry.
The house and property was set up in a way that you had comfortable privacy in your space, which was not be the case with other properties that we've rented. Twin beds were super for the younger kids, and older kids had their own beds whether a double or a futon. All slept very well. Importantly, given some kids are early risers, the bonus playroom was perfect to let them be active (and loud!) while others are able to comfortably sleep until mid-morning.
As far as amenities: fast Wi-Fi, several TVs, lots of beach gear including towels, chairs, buckets and shovels, ample activities in the playroom, comfortable family room for everyone to gather and have fun, many bathrooms, and on a quiet street. In the kitchen, ample dishes, silverware, glassware, and pots to accommodate cooking for two families.
Outside, two picnic tables with umbrellas and a gas grill for those afternoon barbecues. Our host was gracious, welcomed us upon arrival, was responded quickly by text, and accommodated several quick requests.
Fantastic access to a pair of beaches, both in very close proximity, even easy walking distance. Not far away are several restaurants that fit everyone's tastes.
Our experience was up-and-above. We look forward to returning and having more wonderful experiences in this very comfortable stay.

Liz and Mike’s house was perfect for our extended family trip the Hyannis. Communication and check in was simple. When we arrived, the house was very clean. It had plenty of room for 10 of us and the layout was spread out enough where we didn’t feel like we were all always in the same house. The kitchen was a bit small but having the separate dining room and big table to eat at was great. It was also nice to not have to pack extra towels or sand toys since there was plenty at the house. It is walkable to 2 smaller beaches which was convenient with a 1 year old. The walk to downtown Hyannis was about 20 minutes but definitely doable if it is not too hot. Liz also went out of her way to unlock the house for me after we forgot our keys! Overall, we enjoyed our stay
and would recommend this place to friends and family.

We had 4 adults a teenager, 5, two 3, and two 1, year olds in this house for a week, if you’re looking for a chill week with a beach almost in the front yard with enough space for everyone, this is the house for you. Amount of bathrooms and showers with plenty of hot water was amazing after a long day at the beach and ten of us to shower. It’s even close enough to walk to some good restaurants and downtown area. Just enough outdoor space to have a few themed dinners on the patio and access to a very well kept grill was super, with an added bonus of a game room. I can safely say I played more pool and air hockey then I have in years. All in all, looking for a low key beach vacation with stuff to do in a short distance, this is the house for you.

We had a great time at this property--there was plenty of space for my family, my brother's family, and our parents. The upstairs suites were especially good for family units. The two closest beaches were very easy walking distance even with littles and provided nice variety. The harbor and main st were also easy walking distance. The owners were really friendly and responsive.

Centrally located & perfect for 2-3 families
This property was was perfect for us. The house is kept very clean. The location could not be more central to the beach, shops, food, etc. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. It was wonderful staying at this property. We hope to stay again! Thank you Liz & Mike!

The house was super clean. The house set up is perfect for multiple families as the rooms were spacious and spread out throughout the house. Cleanest house we ever rented
The location of this house is perfect. We easily walked to the beach every day. The Kalmus beach was like a private beach in the evening, even over the busy holiday week. The fireworks at Veterans beach were spectacular and what was even better was walking back to our house without being in traffic. The house was so clean. They had everything we needed, fresh towel and linens cleaning supplies and the kitchen was stocked perfectly. The house was cool at night and there was a beautiful breeze every afternoon on the patio. The owners were pleasant and available at all times. Not that we needed much assistance. The Cape was fun to explore. The harbor is so close it’s an easy walk. We also walked to Main Street for lunch and dinner. It’s such a cute town! One of the highlights of the trip was a guided kayak trip. But book early because it was full. I also recommend the Natural History Museum on the North side. We spent a lot of time sea fishing and my only regret was not having enough water shoes. The shells were sharp and there were so many crabs! It was an amazing experience. We loved every minute of it and would return to this house. It was so immaculate and so stocked with everything. Our three families all fit and has private bathrooms. The game room was so fun for the kids. There all worked on their pool game. It was the perfect quiet place for our family. Liz also has great advice on things to do and see. Great time!

A perfect beach rental
A perfect rental for an extended family with separate living areas and FIVE full baths! A short walk to beaches, ferries and a busy Main Street. Owner provides linens, drying racks for laundry, and washer/drier. Nice patio with gas grill and two picnic tables.

We had a wonderful time in Cape Cod, and the house couldn't have been more perfect. There were three beaches very close by; two we could walk to, and one was a block away, which we drove to. The one that we drove to had bathrooms and a snack bar, everything that we needed to complete our day. The owners are awesome to work with. We went with our two children, their spouses, and our five grandchildren, ages 3-7. It is a family vacation we will never forget. I highly recommend!!!

Absolutely tremendous!
We had a wonderful time in Cape Cod, and the house couldn't have been more perfect. There were three beaches very close by; two we could walk to, and one was a block away, which we drove to. Multi-Family July 4th "Family" Vacation!
While this review is later than we wanted to post, we absolutely wanted to share how WONDERFUL our vacation was and how much we enjoyed this property. It's a bit lengthy, but we wanted touch upon everything we did, not to mention I like to read about others' experiences to help me in my property decision. My husband and I honeymooned on Cape Cod 37 years ago and this was vacation with our adult children and grandchildren....9 people total. We all reviewed several properties and based on the description (that was complete and accurate), we selected this property. We found it to be well-maintained, very clean and inviting. The owners were gracious hosts and very helpful. It was very convenient to have them close by...we actually needed a hose to rinse our kayaks and the owner hooked one up!
The layout of the house was perfect for our needs....the upstairs master suites worked well for a family with children (our grandchildren are 5 and 2). The dining room table was large enough for all of us to sit together for meals. The game room was another great amenity....that we used frequently. It had an extra refrigerator which allowed us to limit our trips to the grocery store!! And the baths....we all basically had our bathroom!!!
The location was perfect....a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, but still close-enough to the Hyannis village shops and restaurants, which are within walking distance...about 20 minutes. There are also two very nice beaches within walking distance....we just put everything in our wagons and didn't need to deal with loading and unloading the cars, It was awesome not having to deal with traffic after the fireworks that we watched from Veterans Beach.
The Cape has so much to offer for activities and we had the added excitement of July 4th with several holiday-specific events. Neighboring towns are a short car ride away.....Chatham was charming. Our other activities a morning harbor cruise, a day on Martha's Vineyard, golfing, and biking at sunrise at the National Seashore. We would DEFINITELY stay at this property again and highly recommend it for your Cape Cod vacation.

Perfect location!
This house is lovely, gigantic, and situated between a beautiful beach and quaint shopping area.
The rooms of the house were spotless and the game room kept everyone occupied on the one rainy day we had (as did the mall and movie theater, which are also only ten minutes away).
As an added bonus, the owners kindly gave us the name of a local mechanic when one of our cars needed service, which saved us a lot of hassle (and, I'm sure, money).
I can't say enough about this rental, except book now!

Great Cape Cod Experience
We spent a week here in mid August and can't say enough great things. This was our first time visiting Cape Cod and traveling with 3 generations ranging from 6 weeks to 70 years old poses a challenge, but this home was the perfect choice for our family. Walking distance to downtown, ferries and the beach made every day so fun and convenient. We were able to have some meals at "home" utilizing the grill and the fully equipped kitchen. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for us, giving everyone their own private space and bathroom. We would definitely return as our family continues to grow and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a large, clean, and comfortable vacation home.

Great Cape Cod Experience
We loved this house!! So clean and spacious - can't say enough about it. The location is fantastic - walking distance to downtown/ferry. The kitchen was well equipped and the towels and linens provided were of great quality. They pretty much include everything you think you'll need for a beach vacation including beach chairs and toys! Liz and Mike could not have been nicer. They were readily accessible if questions or needs came up - very helpful! We had an incident in the game room, which Liz and Mike were very gracious about and even returned our full deposit. I highly recommend this rental and hope to do it again next year!

Perfect vacation home
We loved everything about the house! We had a group of 12 from age 5 to 76 and it was perfect. The upstairs suites were perfect for my daughters and their families and the two bedrooms downstairs were away from the noise. Everything was clean and well furnished. Liz and Mike were nearby but not intrusiver and took care of all our needs and questions. We cooked in most of the time and found the kitchen very well equipped and the dining room spacious with a table large enough for all of us! We also are at the two picnic tables on the patio especially with a messy meal like steamers! The kids loved riding their bikes to the beach, for ice cream and into town. There are three beaches within walking distance and we enjoyed them all. The game room provided many hours of entertainment for everyone. The beds were all very comfortable and bedrooms roomy. I cannot not think of one thing that was lacking and we have rented many different places. We definitely hope to go back. Thank you Liz and Mike!

House is exactly as described - spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious. Ideal for families. Great location right by beach/ferry terminal and a handful of restaurants. Slightly longer walk to Main St. Owners were extremely helpful and we had a wonderful stay.

A perfect place/way to spend family time.
When we first stepped inside the house we knew this was going to be a wonderful week. The five bathrooms and four sleeping areas allowed for having a personal space for each family unit and made getting "away" from the rest for a bit easy. The game room gave the kids something to do at the end of the day when no adults were interested in going back to the beach for "one more swim". The house was clean, neat and fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, sleeping and anything else. Although a beach pass was included the beaches were easily walkable and allowed the sand to leave the feet before entering the house. Kalmus Beach is lovely with waves big enough for boogie boarding. Would definitely recommend this house for multi-family vacations.

Cape Cod Experience
We decided on Cape Cod for my husbands 41st birthday, we went along with friends and family ranging from the age of 2 to 55, there was something to do for everyone. The house was beautiful, very clean, great instructions and was equipped for everything we needed. The game room was were the children spent most of their time while we the adults bbq'd , watched movies, walked across the street to enjoy the beach or took a ferry that was in walking distance. The owners were very easy to work with and very accomodating. We would definately go back.

Great Place for Families
This was such a wonderful spot! We booked the house for a mini family vacation/reunion. There were 12 of us which included 3 toddlers and an infant and there was more than enough space for all. The rooms are large and comfortable and the fact that linens and towels are all provided is a plus. The place was very clean and for us very child proof! The game room was a hit with all of us. Walking distance to two great beaches and downtown Hyannis is always a good take. You could even walk to a few restaurants/bars if you wanted to. All in all we would without a doubt come back here. The owners were great and so helpful!! A must if you are coming to the area.

Great house for families
We just completed a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very clean and sports a number of nice amenities. It is very close to several beaches, easy walking distance to two, both of which are good for kids. When you are tired of the beaches the game room is a lot of fun, the main TV/DVD player is really nice, and almost every bedroom has its own tv. The owners provide very nice beach towels and beach toys for the kids. The beds, linens and other household furnishing were a cut above what you might see at a normal rental property. Also the property has a great patio with two grills and plenty of chairs and a picnic table. We enjoyed some nice dinners outside there. We look forward to coming back for another stay soon.

Great house, nice owners
We rented the house for a long weekend last week. The house was in excellent shape, and the owners were accessible and pleasant to work with. One of our daughters inadvertently broke one of the lamps in the house, but the owners nonetheless returned our deposit in full.

Large very clean home. Had all the comforts of home. Game room entertained the entire family. Short walk to two clean beaches. .7 miles awayfrom Hyannis marina. The marina offers high speed line to Marthas Vineyard and Nantuckett. Slightly longer walk ( 1 mile ) to Main street. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Rented this house with our parents and siblings. Everyone said they would rent here again.

Awesome!
The house is PERFECT for a multi family vacation. The upstairs suites allowed some separation so we were not on top of each other and the game rooms were an absolute lifesaver for the kids! The beach was literally a 3 minute walk. The house was also extremely clean and there was a great outdoor space for grilling and hanging out in the evening. I give this space 10 stars and cannot wait to come back!
