The cottage is cozy and the area is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has plenty of utensils to cook a meal. The beach is only a short walk away.

Good location to private beach. Did not have can opener...learned how ro open with sharp knife. Microwave doesn't rotate so uneven cooking. Carpenter ants were prevalent....just minor issues

We had a great week, weather was perfect. Kitchen was small but had everything you needed to cook with. Great for small family, beach is within walking distance which I loved. Deck is nice, lots of shade. We grilled also, so Thanks! Will definitely be back next year!

This was one of the most relaxing weeks of my life. The property was located no more than 15 minutes from everything. The cottage was very clean. The cottage is less than a 2 minute walk to the ocean. If you are in the market for a clean, quiet and relaxing cottage. This one will definitely not disappoint at all.

The best feature of this property is a private beach with clean sand and water. The beach is literally 2 minutes walking from the house. Other good features are the outdoor shower and a sunny kitchen with a skylight roof.

Loved the outdoor shower, location, and the overall experience. Wished the seating area was a little bit more comfortable

Nice spot towards the back of a small group of cottages, more private but still super close to the beach which was also private. New front porch sitting area great for an evening cocktail! Small shower in bathroom but nice outdoor shower too. Big skylight/window in kitchen - be sure you're dressed lol! We found tickets for a free ice cream from the truck that came by - nice touch! Just pick up ice on the way - only one small ice tray - but plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. Great place overall

Overall great stay. The property is just across the street from a very nice private beach. Its a quiet community of cottages with just the bare essentials for a proper beach bum vacation. Love the outdoor shower. And love how the entire association is only charcoal grilling!
Only complaint - and this is not the fault of the owner of the property, its the association property managers: there is no recycling! Its 2021, I dont understand how this association is not set up to recycle yet. So you either need to bring all your cans/bottles home or disregard any care for the environment and throw out all your recyclables into their giant dump.

The property owner was easy to work with in getting the reservation made. The cottage has most things that you need, but certainly doesn't offer any frills (no extra pillows, extra towels, or any blankets, barely any pots/pans and cooking utensils, no coffee or tea or other welcoming items). The mattress in the main bedroom is sunken in and needs replacing immediately and the doors in the only bathroom are hard to close (one of them we couldn't close at all, so it was always slightly ajar). The best part of this cottage is its proximity to the private beach (shared by 30+ other cottages) and the town (several good restaurants nearby). However, the private beach itself was filled with discarded crab shells and other sea animal carcasses. This was somewhat entertaining for our small children, but not something any one of us wanted to walk thru barefooted. Generally speaking, the cottage was basic at best and offered little extras (they did have sand toys and beach chairs, so that was a plus) to make the stay more pleasant. I'm not sure if this was due to it being in the midst of the pandemic or what, but this wouldn't be a place we'd choose to return to for another stay.

If you are looking for a spot close to the beach, this is it! It’s literally a 30 second walk to a private beach in Dennisport. The beach is very clean and frequently raked! The house was perfect for my small family. It was very comfortable and clean. We hope to be back next year!

It was listed as having a working fireplace and as an amenity. Fortunately, I double checked on arrival, and it was not to be used. We loved the layout and had a very relaxing stay.

Cabin was cozy and accessible to many fine restaurants, it was centrally located to the highway and made traveling enjoyable.

This lovely old-timey cottage is nestled in an enclave of similar Cape style dwellings surrounded by old pines. Beautiful in its simplicity, the kitchen nook with its large skylight is a lovely place for meals in the small but fully equipped kitchen. There are wide plank pine floors throughout and a cozy fireplace. We really enjoyed the new front deck and the charcoal grill. The outdoor shower on the back deck was wonderful. We really enjoyed showering under the canopy of pines. The best part of our stay was the short walk to the private beach which is beautiful. We often walked up at night and enjoyed the Sound from the picnic tables provided there. The entire community is lovely. We will be staying here again for our annual Cape holiday.

There was a lot to like about this rental. The owner was super responsive both before and assuring our stay. When we arrived and realized that we didn’t have a tea kettle, he arranged to have the onsite property manager being one by. The location was perfect. Just two minutes from the private beach, we could hear the waves off in the distance at night. We could walk to the Ebbtide for take out ( super nice folks and good food). The biking from there was flat and you could go to other beaches or just ride along the ocean. The beach, even with social distancing, was never overcrowded. Other things we really liked was the quiet of the village. Although you are quite close to the other cottages, it’s sort of nice and every one respects the no outdoor radio rule. The outdoor shower area is brand new, with a small back deck. The front deck, also which seems new, is like having an additionaL room. We hired many of the other cottages did not have this. The kitchen was well appointed, including a muffin pan, which was much appreciated. The big downside was that the bathroom has mold, on the lineoleum, on the curtains and on the shower curtain. Unfortunately one of us has a mold allergy so we ended up using the outdoor shower a lot. (The water pressure and heat are excellent, btw). The other issue for us was that it really is not central air. I had asked about this and was told it did. It does have one of those ductless units in the living room, which can cool down the cotttage if you leave all the doors open and run fans to circulate the cool air (there are plenty to newish fans). But for us, again because of the mold allergy, having very good AC in each room is important. Renovate the bathroom, or at least change the shower curtain and this is 5 star place for sure.
